Since I am getting no usage on OVO app for electric, smart meter upgrade over six weeks ago, customer service informed from start,no usage showing.I need usage  to present to council to show occupation of premises.Hence important reason for usage coming through.As a last resortI am utilizing the forum for suitable feed back.There is not even a energy tariff on the app!Have I any recourse.A letter from OVO aboutbeing a customer would be ideal.  

We left OVO at the end of last week but I now seem to be stuck with the OVO Anytime tarrff configured on my Ohme ePod charger.I’ve called Ohme, who say I need to speak to OVO, who say I need to speak to Ohme - it seems neither is sure how to remove the tariff, so I can go ahead and set up a new tariff with my new supplier.Has anyone here experienced this before, or know how to get this resolved?(Until its fixed I fear I’m either not going to be able to charge my EV at home at all, or wont be able to get the best rates from my new supplier)

So I have a friend who is an OVO customer the only difference is she pays DD and I pay as you go,But she seems to get loads of extra Benefits ie.. early access to ovo events, elec blankets and other offers just wondering if i'm in not entitled to the same due to being a payg customer??,

I've just switched to OVO and was told that we could have a smart meter installed, but since then I haven't heard anything further. I am concerned because our meter isn't in our flat, it is in a communal cupboard to which I don't have access. I'm worried I won't be able to read the meter regularly if we can't get a smart meter. Has anyone had experience of this?

Hello, Does anyone know when Ovo are publishing the Simpler Energy (variable plan) unit costs for when the cost cap increases in October? All the articles say it's going up by 10%, but I want to know how this is being wrapped into the unit rates and standing charges which can go up be varying amounts, say 8% and 12%, such that the average for an average household = 10%.Without this information it is impossible to calculate whether fixing is better or not. Many thanks, Piers

Does anyone else have a Project EV charger and uneventfully using the Project EV app?For over a year that's what I did, got home plugged car in and the timer set in my car (Nissan Leaf e+) used the off peak electricity kindly provided to me by OVO.A few weeks back Project EV sent an email suggesting I migrate to Electric Miles, which I did. Setup wasn't straightforward,  but it was manageable, however  its reliability causes anxiety.Now when I plug in I don't know if I'll wake to a night without charge,  like this morning. I went to the Electric Miles app and it's asking me to add a charger (already done, more than once). To be fair, their Support does respond, but not always with a solution. Some replies have been to the effect of stating awareness of a problem and working on it.Is it just me?

Hi, i have a BMW I4, a company car, and i need to enter the actual kwh into my company app for business mile reimbursement.  I have been using 7p as this is the charge anytime rate but when i calculated the actual reimbursement i have had over the last 3 months it averages, each month, to 10p / kwh so less reimbursement than i was expecting.  I was expecting a reimbursement per charging session of 16.44p (23.44p - 7p) to take me to 7p actual.I don’t have the override feature enabled so i was surprised by this.Anyone else see this?thanks for any help!  

I have my EV signed up to Ovo charge. I have the App, I have the card but how does on use it!I’ve had a very stressful day trying to use public charging and had to resort to first downloading those charger Apps but failing to get them to work and eventually just using my debit card with still some difficulty! In fact it was an octopus customer who rescued me by simply holding his octo card to the contactless and it going right through thank god. I’m now fully charged to journey home.  do I just hold it to the contact point? Like a debit card? I’m such a noob to this so clueless without instructions 

Hi I’m a new customer and trying to set up account however I’m not receiving any OVO emails was told to type OVO beyond into my iPhone but where exactly do I type this  thanks for your help 

I'm looking to switch to a one year fixed tariff and I see one of the requirements is to have a smart meter fitted. An OVO engineer has already visited to try to fit a smart meter but has said that it is not possible due to the type of accommodation and the current type of meter. Will this exclude me from switching to the fixed tariff?

Can someone please explain this, there has to be a problem with our meter for this we have this issue ever since moving in and SSE refused to give us a check meter untill he refused to pay the bill  

The electric was turned off on Thursday as the company were doing some work but now I can’t seem to top up my meter as it says my top up card number is invalid, and as it’s Sunday I can’t speak to anyone!

 On Thursday my minimum monthly payment was £29. I am currently paying £37 per month, which would supposedly leave me £49 in credit by 31st March.That all changed on Friday when …..Through the mobile app, my minimum monthly payment has been showing as £36 – but it still says I'll be £48 in credit if I continue paying at £37. On the surface, that's fair enough, because OVO predicted that my increased costs resulting from the tariff change will be £66.36 (i.e. £6 per month) … HOWEVER, the predicted 31st March balance is self-evidently complete nonsense, given that I only have seven payments remaining until 31st of March, so paying only £1 less than the minimum would only leave me around £7 in credit come 31st March, not £48.Complicating matters even further ….If I now access my account through a pc browser it tells me a completely different story:Paying £37 will leave my 31st March balance at £20 in credit, but my minimum monthly payment is still £36. I have noticed that every single morning, without fail, a phantom gas usage of 0.555 kWh appears on my account for the previous day ... only then to vanish again by late afternoon.Is this a common problem?  

I have 8 panels producing 2.38kwh. Previously there were 2 1.1kw inverters which started playing up. My system was under guarantee and they said we will provide you with a single 3kw inverter. Is this OK as my system seems to be producing less or could it be that we have less sun at the moment where I am in England.

I’m looking for clarification of the start date of the Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime EV users. My introductory email says that the start date is 16th September (Monday) but time period is noon to noon and qualifying weeks run Sunday to Sunday so did it actually start at noon on Sunday 15th?“We count your sessions from noon to noon every day and calculate rewards weekly, from Sunday to Sunday.”

I am an OVO customer and have been running a heat pump for almost two years, so am really disappointed that existing account holders with heat pumps are not able to benefit from the heat pump plus tariff. Are OVO going to extend the tariff to existing heat pump users any time soon or is this yet another instance of existing OVO customers with heat pumps being disadvantaged for already doing what OVO wants householders to do  - install a heat  pump - but just not an OVO heat pump?

Hi I've received an email stating I need to book to get my 2 meters removed, THTC, and move to single meter I'm assuming. Does anyone know what meter we're getting offered and if the prices will be hiked up?My understanding is that with THTC it is cheaper at night, will this still be the case?Any information would be appreciated.Thanks

Hi, hope that you can help.We had solar panels fitted yesterday with a battery.i downloaded and setup the solis cloud app. This shows when the battery is charging or discharging but does not show any love input from the panels or the grid. Though in the case of the grid it shows an overall input amount. Do I need to play with the settings? Or have the sensors not been correctly set up?TIA. 

I’m trying to find out what tariffs OVO is providing and the charges.  I have found the following page on their website but cannot understand it.  There appear to be multiple versions of many of the tariffs that have identical names but different rates.For example, there are multiple tariffs called ‘Smart Economy 9’ showing different rates and multiple tariffs called ‘Simpler Energy’ showing different rates.  How do I tell which rates would apply to me (NB I have already entered my post code)?https://plans.ovoenergy.com/

My son has a Tesla and wants to use the Zappi charger at my house when visiting but also wants to use the Zappi charger at his house.  We both have Ovo Anytime tariffs in place but separate accounts.  What’s the best way to do this please so that the car charges overnight wherever it is, and we receive anytime credits on the appropriate bills?  Having some issues currently.

Hello,I joined OVO at the end of August and sent my meter readings.Since then I have had to send three more even though I have smart meters. They aren't being read by OVO.Is this normal for new customers? If so, how long is it until OVO read them automatically? Thanks.
