I would love to pay my bill, but I can not find the bank details any where to use with my online banking and send via BACS. ive been on hold the past few days for over 20 minutes and unable to arrange a call whilst a work. please some one must know where I can get the information from

Hi, I moved into a new property in June that had PAYG Boost meters. An OVO engineer swapped these to credit/smart meters on the 1st August. I’ve not been set up an account yet and wondered how long it will take? The 3 people I’ve spoken to have not been able to help.I used to have an OVO account at my old property and wondered if that was hindering the process.I just want to get the billing set up, so I don’t end up with a huge bill after a few months of not paying.

Hello, wondering if anyone can help please!  I’ve been back and forth with OVO customer service team trying to set up my account (electricity only).I don’t have a meter in my apartment or access to my meter (readings get sent). However, they said I need a smart meter installed but I’m confused because I don’t know where my actual meter is located and said that, I have emailed the Lettings agency for the apartment complex to see what she says, but my other problem is I can not get any access to my online account. it keeps sending me to a page saying ‘this page does not support pay as you go’ download an app which I have done but sends me back round in a loop as I’m not pay as you go customer.i thought I had officially sorted it all today as a direct debit of £75 has been set up for a 1 bedroom apartment for one person and the man I was speaking with sent a link to my email to complete my online account set up as the apps do not support direct debit and again once I logged in I’m sent to

My OVO app used to show a breakdown of how our gas and electricity are being used for example fridge freezer, standby, car charging etc for electricity and hot water or heating for gas. Has something changed?  Is there a way I can get this detail back again? 

I need to open a new account for my rental property. I am the landlord and the most recent tenants have left. I get this error message: Oops, there’s a problem…Sorry, we are currently unable to offer you a quote. Please check back soonAny idea why ? Tried yesterday and got the same message. I’m not switching suppliers as the tenant used OVO.

Hi all, So I’ve joined the Power Move Flex with Charge Anytime.  I’m looking for clarity on what constitutes a session. For every 3 hours is a session but if I plugged in for 6 hours does that count as 1 or 2 sessions?  Wondering if I would need to unplug and replug in day every few hours or at least every day or can I leave it constantly plugged in, if for example I didn’t use the car for a few days.  thank you  

Inbetween bills , which are paid monthly with readings sent in,  i got an email telling me i have negative balance on my account, please pay now.   Well, of course i have a negative  balance.  Its always negative till i settle the bill.  So why tell me this ?  I contacted OVO about these ‘ Neg ‘ emails and they said we’ll stop them and we will put £10 in your account for the hassle.I never got the £10 that i’m aware of, because it wasn’t listed in plain text that it had been given to me. Then i get another email today 19th Sept. saying i have a negative balance.  My bill isnt due till the  25th of the month, so yes i will have a negative balance.  In fact as soon as i pay the bill, the negative balance will be there again the day after because, strangely, i use elec. and gas every day.  Just stop please.

When do standing charges get added onto the IHD? I've noticed that when the unit prices went down this month the cost showing when I get up in the morning has actually gone up, suggesting it might be due to standing charges. However I had previously assumed it was late at night, because when I check the previous days cost against the cost showing when I went to bed, that has also jumped up. So I'm puzzled.

I am a new ovo customer and I have to give a meter reading in the next 5 days. Simple yes? No! No matter how I try to submit the readings (app, mobile website, website website) I have a message pop up after I log on telling me my switch is on hold as there is a problem and I have been sent an enail explaining this. I have only recieved one email and it says “hooray your switched!” Kinda thing with a link to upload meter readings. I click on the link and end up at the same page saying there’s an issue and I’ve been emailed. Please save me!

We have had solar panels for nearly 15 years now, and they still work fine, generation levels have barely moved in that time. And we have had the same electrical installation throughout, import export meter and separate generation meter. And nearly all the time with SSE.Now of course with OVO, and I am now getting letters asking for a picture of the generation meter-read with the serial number visible. Except there has never been a serial number visible on the generation meter, as loads of SSE engineers have confirmed over the years.I’ve emailed OVO with pictures, written old style letters, and never get a response. And now they are threatening to stop payments.First question is: has anyone else experienced this?Second question: if the current generation meter is no longer compliant, for example if the government now wants proof of the generation with a specific meter serial number (which I can understand being a valid ask to prevent fraud), then I can also accept that OVO are stuck in

Hi Folks,I’ll begin by saying the setup for EV charging hurts my brain!I have a Cord One charger, which is meant to be Ovo compatible and I’ve been using their recommended app from Monta to manage smart charging.I’m on Ovo Charge Anytime and also have the CA app installed on my phone. I’m not sure if that’s needed or not though. It seems like that and the Monta app fight for the right to schedule my EV charge times.To confuse myself further, I’ve just enrolled in the Power Move Flex option where I’m supposed to have the car plugged in as close to 24/7 as is practical.My dilemma is, if I set my Monta app to smart charge then the Charge Anytime app doesn’t see the car as being plugged in, so does that mess with the Power Move Flex sessions? However, if I set the Monta app to ‘Charge Now’, then the car is being charged at any time, day or night, and I don’t know if I’m then paying peak rate for the electric.Should I even have both apps installed? If yes, which is in control? Otherwise, wh

I've had an email from someone claiming to be my complaints handler.But the email hasn't come from an ovo email address. I do have an ongoing complaint. I'm waiting to be switched to payg. The only way that information would have got out would be a breach of gdpr on ovos side. I'll attach a photo.Is this a real ovo human? 

I am wondering if anyone has experience using solar power in Mexico. My first billing was wow this is worth it. Now it is like I don’t have solar at all. Example my first 3 bills 60 pesos now 2400 pesos. By the way we don’t live there.  

My meter is burnt out, and National Grid disconnected it because it’s unsafe.OVO doesn’t offer 24/7 emergency support to replace the meter, so I’m stuck with no electricity and no way to contact anyone at OVO.It’s Saturday night, and I have 5 tenants in my HMO sitting in the dark.This is OVO’s responsibility, but we’re being forced to live without power until at least Monday. This is completely unacceptable—what are you going to do about it? 

I have a situation which has not been resolved despite several phone calls and emails so was wondering if anyone is able to work out what is going on. I moved home in June 2024 and I was with Ovo at my previous property. This is what has happened so far:1) Ovo became the electricity supplier to my new home on 20/06/24 and asked me to submit an opening meter reading.2) I emailed the same day to explain this was not possible as there was only 1 section for 1 meter reading on Ovo's website. I have economy 7 which is only for the heater and there are 2 reading on my meter which is a Liberty 110. The opening readings were:R01: 5468.8R02: 1382.2.(shown in photos below)3) Ovo's website explains how to read my meter and it says R02 is the day reading.4) R02 has not changed and still reads 1382.2.5) R01 is changing daily so that is the day and night reading minus the heater (why does the website say R01 is the night reading?)6) There is a separate switch under the fuse box for the heater and th

My anytime charge has failed for three nights. I’ve only just had the equipment installed and it hasn’t to the best of my knowledge ever worked.  The services are connecting though as when I select urgent charge in the ovo app it successfully starts, communicating with Hypervolt charger. has anyone seen similar behaviour please? thanks sophie

Hi, I had a smart meter system installed just over a week ago. A few days later it was apparent that the gas meter was not connecting via the HAN (no readings on IHD, pressing 0 on the meter displays "Commission?"). I called OVO and was told a Lowri-Beck engineer would be in touch. I called again the other day and was told this could take up to ten working days as I was on an "ad hoc" list. What does this actually mean? The CSA I spoke to wasn't very clear. I'm very annoyed by this. I took time off work to have the meters fitted and now I'm having to wait for an engineer to call me at a random time to arrange an appointment to come and fix a pairing issue. Everything in your organisation assumes everything will go right first time. If something goes wrong the customer is basically ignored and palmed off with "don't call us, some contractor will call you....". Hi,I’m considering to start using OVO for public (AC) charging of my electric car.But: the public charging station closest to my house, so preferred station to use, is not showing on the map in the OVO app. No idea why, two other stations a little further away from the same operator (TotalEnergies / Greenflux) are shown. It’s definitely not a new station. And it works. It is visible in pretty much every other charging app I have.How can I get OVO to add this specific charging station to their map/database?Rough location: The Netherlands, Utrecht, De Meern.Thanks,Matthijs
