I’m looking for clarification of the start date of the Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime EV users. My introductory email says that the start date is 16th September (Monday) but time period is noon to noon and qualifying weeks run Sunday to Sunday so did it actually start at noon on Sunday 15th?

“We count your sessions from noon to noon every day and calculate rewards weekly, from Sunday to Sunday.”

Hi @wkeithg,

I’ve checked this with the team and they’ve responded:

"Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime started on the 16th of September, sessions are counted noon to noon and Sunday to Sunday, meaning the first session counter started from noon on the 15th, so people didn't miss out on the first day of sessions. Power Move are our quarterly challenges to shift energy out of set peak times and the reward calculations run from the 1st of each month to the end of that month. You can take part in either, or both, depending on eligibility.”

Hope this helps.

Wow!!!  That's a new one on me !!!  I was under the impression that it starts on the 1st of every month, and runs from 12:01 am (0001 hrs) to 11:59 pm (2359 hrs) daily !!!  If you started on the 6th of Sept, then I don't think you would qualify for a reward for this month  because you didn't participate for the whole month.  When I look up my daily usage, it shows from the times stated above. To calculate from 12 noon (1200 hrs) to 11:59 am (1159 hrs), would really be a nightmare because the useage chart doesn't go by those times !!!  I'm really curious as to what OVO will reply regarding this !!!  Mike 😎

Hi there - its not the normal Power Move  - Its the Flex one associated with EV Charge Anytime.

It encourages you to plug in your car for 3 hours + and if you do this 3 times or more in a week you get a reward.  TBF its much easier to achieve than the current Power Move.

Just a quick reminder.

Power Move, Power Move Plus and Power Move Flex are three different systems. It is possible to be on all three at once but they all have different rules.

Noticed that the end day - 25th April 2025 - is a Friday which seems a bit odd.

Need to include that this is for folks with electric Ben's and has nothing to do with the regular Power-Move that operates monthly starting the 1st of every month.  That's where I got lost as there was no mention of this in the prior communique'd messages.  Mike  😎

Yeah.  Sorry for any confusion.  If I could edit the original post I would.  I added that detail in the thread when I realised the confusion that was occurring.   OVO should probably have given the scheme a different name to avoid confusion between the two “Power Move Flex” schemes.
“Electric Ben’s”❗️I can’t stand autocorrect. Keith 😎

Thanks for the offer. It just needs a line at the top of the post saying “I’m looking for clarification of the start date of the Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime EV users”

I can’t see any reference to power move flex and haven’t had an invite so I presume this is not open to all. Does anybody know when it will become generally available.

My invite came on the schedule page of the ChargeAnytime app

Thank you @wkeithg. That probably explains it. I was advised to use the Kaluza app. which is probably not compatible. Oh well, I’ll try next year.

Are you on Charge Anytime?   It makes my plug in hybrid car v cheap to run and the extra £3 a week means I will get about 110 miles a week effectively for free.

Maybe you could see if you get the offer on the ChargeAnytime app but keep using the Kaluza one.

Hey @Taj

If you can tell us what model of EV you have and what charger you use then we can check your compatibility with Charge Anytime.

Alternatively you can also check your compatibility by filling out this form

Thanks to @wkeithg for sharing how this benefits you 🙂.

I hope this helps.

Hello @Chris_OVO, @wkeithg  thank you for replying. I already have charge anytime, Indra pro and bZ4X. I had been unaware of the Powermove Flex and thought it was now available. As it’s still in testing I’ll just have to wait.
