I am thinking of having my gas meter removed as i have not used gas for over 2 years. Do EDF charge to remove a gas meter - I am on priority service if that makes any difference. thank you

Still waiting for my account to migrated across to a newer system which is now taken over 6 months🙄. My contract runs out next month would it be quicker to leave OVO go to another supplier and then return ?

Hi. I am new to the forum. I have been with OVO for 10 months and I have had 2 SMETS2 meters fitted not long after I moved to OVO. Unfortunately, the system has never worked properly since installation ! What used to happen intermittently was one of 2 scenarios: The WAN light used to go off and my smart meter would stop sending my meter readings to OVO or the HAN light used to go off and my IHD would stop working with the message "waiting for current data"  being displayed. Last week all 4 lights (including the WAN and HAN lights) continued to work on the meter (they all flashed on once every 4 or 5 seconds) and yet my IHD stopped working which had never happened before whilst all 4 lights were working !? A couple of days ago the IHD came back on again but despite all 4 lights still displaying on the meter, my meter readings don't update on the OVO app. How is this ?  I thought if the WAN (Wide Area Network) light was on, my electric meter could communicate my meter readings to OVO. Al

Currently having issues with Charge Anytime not updating Charge % and range.  It is picking up if car is away from home or if it is not plugged in.  Seems like some of the Renault metadata is being read and some not.  Anyone else seeing this?   First noticed on Wednesday Iast week and reported it by email on Thursday.  Was briefly working on Thursday but now stuck at 100% and 16 miles since Friday.  Anyone else seen anything similar?  

I am unsure what I information I need to supply when required to give generation meter readings. Below is a photograph of what I believe is my generation meter. Do I just supply the 5 digits to the left of the decimal point? Do I ignore the digits after the decimal point?Also OVO have told me I need to supply an EXP reading. My photograph has an arrow next to IMP - is this right? - do I need to change it to point to EXP? If so I cannot see how to do this - there are no buttons on the unit.TIA 

Hi,We asked Ovo for an IHD well over a year ago and were advised one would be sent when Ovo had a suitable model back in stock, unfortunately nothing has ever arrived.However we have been given an unwanted Scottish Power Chameleon IHD3-PPMID-V3 (from a different address/account), can this be paired with our SMETS1 meters (Landis Gyr E470/G470, Trilliant SEAP-2001-V)?Thanks

Hello, Recently switched to Ovo from Eon.I have said from the start that I'm sight impaired and require an accessible in home display. Ovo have sent me out a normal display, not an accessible one.🙄 I have emailed three times & received no response.  I have an AIHD here from Eon & it now says Ovo on it. Can I just keep using this one, or do I need to have been given one from Ovo? Why does it take 6 weeks to put me ontoPayg? Thanks

With Southern Electric I was paid an amount for Generated electric on my generation meter which was around 60p per unit and then paid for exported electric which was about 5p, is this the same with OVO and if so what are the rates, I only ever give the generation metre numbers, the export is on a different smart meter, and I have spoken to the 'FiT team' they just keep repeating the same phrase and are unable to answer any of my questions, for example why has my income dropped from 180 pounds with SE to barely 15 pounds with OVO. I hope someone can help.

Hello, been with OVO many years, and since you changed the name if the feature to Energy Insights in October 2023, this feature does not show my appliance usage 

OVO are trying to take over my energy supply, I have never been in contact with them, nor authorised this, at present I am an EDF Customer, and I have unfortunately been a victim of Identity fraud this month.  However, I have put a password on all credit accounts, notified CIFAS, the police and action fraud.The financial ombudsman are also taking on my case, your urgent attention / response would be really appreciated.I have also this evening emailed OVO complaints email, as this only came to my attention today by post from my current supplier.Many thanks.

I would like to enquire whether anyone has had very expensive bills from OVO with an ASHP.  My bills each month are between £500 and £600.  I have read on their website that you can get a reduction for some part of the bill if you have an ASHP, but finding it hard to received information on how to go about this and what information OVO need to prove the installation.  Does anyone have any knowledge please?

I moved to OVO on the 17th April. I was previously with British Gas and I have a SMETS1 Smart Meter. How long do I need to wait until I can get a SMETS2 meter installed?

Hello, I left earlier in year and need a refrence for my new employer. Please can I have the detials for who my new employer can contact to get a  refrence. 

My Mitsubishi ASHP was installed last year, to run the existing radiator CH system.  An extension with UFH was about to be built and the installers left me with a separate pumped connection for the UFH.  That has duly been completed and connected and been running by connecting the UFH pump in parallel with the existing CH pump - ie I have one zone.I now want to separate the CH and UFH into separate zones.  I have the contacts from the UFH wiring centre connected to IN6 (Room Thermostat 2 input) and the UFH Pump to OUT3 (Zone 2 space heating).I have turned on DIP switches SW2-6 and SW2-7 but keep getting an L5 error (Indoor FTC temperature thermistor reading incorrect value, thermistor disconnected or wired into the wrong connection on the board, incorrect dip switch setting on the FTC board).  The manual tells me I don’t need an indoor thermistor if I’m using the remote wireless controller.  I have also tried changing SW3-1 and SW4-1 but still get an error code.With SW2-6 and SW2-7 on,

DD amount advise continually unavailable, is it just me?

I’ve downloaded the new Ovo Charge app (that allows you to see charge points on any of the affiliated networks and potentially pay for cheaper PAYG rates). but when I log in with my Ovo details it doesn’t recognise that I have charge anytime connected to my account.Has anyone else encountered this or have anyidea how to overcome? The app has no support function at least not until i can log in!

I had a new smart meter fitted (around October 2023) after moving over to OVO because when I switched from EDF to OVO for some reason my off-peak stopped working and I had an issues with the Economy 7 tariff. Since that emergency appointment my off -peak came back around 11:30pm during autumn/winter off peak times and it has been working.All appliances connected to the off-peak rate circuit were always ON instead of turning on and off during rate changes. As mentioned above OVO sent an engineer that supposedly fixed our issue. All appliances connected to the off-peak rate circuit are now all OFF during both peak and off-peak hours. I waited till 1am on 29- April -2024 to see if my heating would come on as even during peak times my booster switch was placed on and didn’t boost anything in regards to my hot water.Our heating system consists of storage heaters which are all connected to this off-peak circuit so we are now effectively without heating. Hello please can someone enlighten my concern. During day time we usually used electricity just more than 1 pound sometimes less, but during midnight when we wakes up around and before using electricity again we had been charged already by 2 pounds including the standing charge ( 2 pounds plus just in the middle of the night? ) is that really normal ? During night only boiler for heating water plus refrigeration are on standby. Thanks

Is there anyone who has managed to get ovo to correct meter readings.Thought this was sorted in January when a refund cheque was sent to me.Then march a new bill.Left ovo in Oct 2023.Or do I just let them try and take me to court.Don't answer complaints.Never give  complaint number.At a loss of where to go next. 

On return from holiday, I noted that gas usage was indicated when there had been no demand.  Subsequent checks, after a no-fault leak test, confirmed that with no demand, gas usage of nearly 0.5 cu. m. per day is being registered.  Postings on Money Saving Expert’s forum (Gas Meter Still Increasing Whilst Gas Isolated) refers) triggered me to wonder whether my meter could also be incrementing when the gas supply is isolated - and it is!The meter is a Landis & Gyr Libra 310P.  The meter label appears to show an installation date of 2011, and after the cu. m. consumption display, the character ‘F’ is displayed. I would be interested to know what the ‘F’ indicates?L&G Libra 310PI intend to put in a complaint to Ovo Energy and would welcome any observations, guidance, etc.  I’m guessing that the battery would have a nominal 10 year life, but clearly if in use since 2011, it may be fairly low in charge now.  Could this account for the erroneous incrementing it is demonstrating? 

I have been charging my BMW I4 from home with no changes over the last 6 months. For some.reason the last 3 attempts at home charge for 2 mins and then stops. I charged it a petrol station fine a few days ago and it was fine so I know it's not an issue with the car HELP Hak

 This shows the Month of April up to now. Wallbox info on the left and OVO Anytime info on the right. If you add them both up, you end up with almost exactly the same numbers total. So why are they so incredibly different day to day and how do they end up nearly the same at the end ???? Why is this so confusing? It looks like the Kona is often charging outside the Anytime schedule and by this I mean, the car is charging, but if I go to the Anytime App on my phone, it’s showing the schedule as due to start in several hours time. The reason this gives me more doubt and confusion is that doing the same comparison as above (Wallbox vs OVO readings) before I owned the Kona, which is just a month now and only owned a Tesla, the readings were about 30% apart, showing the OVO readings as much higher than the Wallbox. Which makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Sorry for the ramble and I hope someone understands this.
