Logged on to MyOvo on laptop this morning to find the following...Home page - under "Your meter readings" shows "We couldn't get a reading from your smart meter. Mind sending one manually?" Last reading was 21st May i.e. the reading used for the final reading of my latest billClick on Meter readings from left hand menu on home page and get "Your electricity smart meter is sending us readings automatically, so you don't need to do anything."So I have a mismatch on the information being shown by the website Latest bill was 21st April - 20th May 2024 so readings lost after bill production - odd???The usage for May shows estimates for 21-24 May inclusive Meter shows green for SW, WAN & HAN so pretty sure my meter is reachable and functioning, internal display working fine.Not had any issues with readings being sent since a similar issue was fixed after about 6-8 weeks delay back in December 2023 This was only after Emmanuelle_OVO got involved https://forum.ovoenergy.com/smart-meters-13

My head is spinning – Help please!My current setup is a ‘dumb’ charger feeding a Renault Zoe (a ‘compatible’ car) controlled through the Charge Anytime app.I’ve ordered a ‘compatible’ Ohme ePod charger because I plan to replace the Renault with a BYD Dolphin (‘non-compatible’).Currently on my phone are the Charge Anytime and Renault apps. At the moment everything works beautifully.When the ePod charger, which of course comes with an app, is installed I would like to continue to benefit from the Charge Anytime discount when charging the Zoe and then, when later the Zoe is replaced by the BYD, charge that.To charge the Zoe from the ePod should I uninstall and reinstall the Charge Anytime app, install the ePod app, and set it all up again (and later go through some ‘change car’ process) or can I simply reconfigure the Charge Anytime app to link to the ePod instead of the car?What should I link to what and in what sequence?Help!

About a year ago I saw an American portable solar panelled battery that looked like suitcase trolley when closed but open the panels and it could store about 3kw of solar. Any idea what it was called? Can I still get it? I seem to recall that the name was Waco or similar.Can OVO help with self home generation without stick a load of panels etc on my roof?I have no gas, no boiler, no servicing, no water filled radiators. Can’t have a heat pump. Have no emissions. Is this the way to go? Free home generated electricity, yes please.I have a hybrid EV. £34 petrol on 14th March, 319 miles of range.Today I have 304 miles of range with 487 miles covered and a free charge at supermarket.Beat it???  

ISSUE 1I charge a BMW iX at home (managed from my BMW App)I charge using Eazee-One (using Eazee-One App to lock able at night and authorise the charge so that no unauthorised person can charge while I am away)I HAVE to use OVO Charge anytime App to set the scheduleDo I really need to use 3 Apps just to charge my car???  What happened to “easy charging with OVO”, especially when one should be able to charge “Anytime”??ISSUE 2REGULARLY, I set all 3 APPs up at night to charge to 100% when I have a long journey next morning…. and REGULARLY, I wake up to find that despite having set:Charging limits on My BMW App (and to check all is ready) Enabled Eazee-One charger (and check all is ready)  Set accurate settings (Times and Max charging limits) on OVO charge Anytime APP, (even getting the message that “charing will start at 22:00” on the APP),and yet when I wake up, I find that no charging has happenned AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHH !!!!!Why MUST OVO need to control my CAR as well as the CHARGER ????SO

I can't put in to words how fizzing I am with anger!! At approximately 7:30am this morning (a Sunday), we lost power to our home. We called out an electrician who identified the issue as being the metering equipment by the main feed into the house. After a discussion with Electricity North West, we identified that the equipment is the responsibility of the supplier - Ovo. We have a child with significant additional needs and we needed this resolving ASAP. After checking the Ovo website, I gave the Customer Services number a call, and was returned with "Thanks for calling Ovo. We record all our calls etc. We're currently closed. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8:00am etc etc" So I then tried the emergency contacts provided on the website. Both useless. I retried Electricity North West who said they had a number for Ovo that they could put me through to. Great I thought, until they put me through and I got... "Thanks for calling Ovo. We record all our calls etc. W

I am trying to contact SSE energy Services limited. I have received a default notice on an apparent debt I owe them on my PAYG electricity account, from  before I was switched to OVO. The period given is 04/04/2019 - 23/05/2023. I have not received a bill before. The first I knew was a default notice from LCS.  I am trying to get a copy of the bill as I am still unsure as to how I owe them anything. OVO have no record of any debt. Any advice would be welcomed.

How do solar panels work with the two meters that I have which are called total heat total control? Can anyone explain how it works and how they fit it to the meters?  

HiMy account has gone from being over £400 in credit to £780 in debit overnight. I’ve always been really careful monitoring my account usage and making sure my direct debit is enough if not more for my monthly usage. I have a smart electricity meter and a manual gas. I have provided my gas readings twice a month to keep an eye on my usage and associated costs.  I received the email below yesterday, im not too sure what it means. I can see 6 bills from 2022 even though I didn’t joined on December 2022.  I’m off due to having a breakdown and this is making extremely anxious. Couldn't fit electric due to meter being too old - asbestos fuses. was told that Scottish Power would contact me in order to change meter. Still waiting , no correspondence, no contact by phone, how do I find out what is happening

I am not very sure how to achieve this Power Move Flex. I just got my first Power Move Flex Task and it's to reduce usage during 6 pm to 8 pm. I am not sure how to achieve this. My usage during this period is 0.09 to 0.18 kWh. That's from my refrigerator, and may be some bulbs. There is nothing more to reduce here.    And how exactly does this work? Am I supposed to reduce my usage from previous day or average of previous week? Or should I reduce it based on usage of the whole day? 

Hi,Can I set the Mitsubishi Ecodan (underfloor heating) so that only the pump operates without heating? When the heating is off, I would like the Ecodan to occasionally circulate the water in the underfloor heating system (without heating) because the floors on the first floor are warmer than those on the ground floor.

I ask this because in my experience they never do. In fact they’re usually out the door in less than 20 minutes. Enough time to do a basic function and safety check. That’s it.Before I took out the cover I did it myself, and it will need doing again. Most boiler manufactures advise expansion vessels to be re-pressurised at least once a year. I previously made the mistake of allowing techs to fob me off about a small weep from my drain valve. I knew this was wrong but it kind of encouraged me to stupidly keep topping up the pressure every couple of months. Eventually the weep became a heavy leak and my entire manifold had to be replaced.  The cover is great and gives me peace of mind, but the lack of proper maintenance is a bit of a disappointment.  

I have been sent this statement [as well as two previous] as proof that the system is working. Page 2 is blank except for the header and footer. There is no address  or meter number to link to the property. Is that normal? Also this is supposed to be a years statement ie. to March 2024 but  is titled to March 23. Surely there would not be a ‘misprint’! The readings suggest one year. Hope it’s legible, my editing to mask some info. Photo of meter recently sent also attached. Thanks. 

Hi i am looking for some advise as Ovo are being completely unhelpful. I am dealing with my mothers estate as she passed away in September 2023.  I have all of the companies that my mother dealt with and have had all accounts put into my name as I am the executer.  We have been receiving demands from Ovo Energy for an outstanding gas balance that does not belong to us.  My mother lived in a block of 12 flats - our supplier has always been Scottish Gas.Our lawyer has been contacted now by Ovo advising we have to pay over £2000 from my mothers estate as the bills are outstanding.We have supplied photos of the gas meter at the property which do not tie in with the one Ovo is billing us from and I have contacted Scottish Gas who have sent us a code to confirm they are the supplier.I am now feeling stuck as Ovo will not accept that this is not my mothers bill.  Whilst this issue is with the lawyer (phone calls from Ovo to there office) the matter is now also billable.Where can i go from her

My FIT (Feed in Tariff) account was with SSE. I tried to submit my FIT readings in September 2023 but was told my account had been transferred to OVO.  I tried to submit my readings to OVO but they said they have no record of my account.They gave me an email to send my numbers  to fits-read@ovoenergy.com. I sent my numbers and got no reply. I rang OVO again. They said they had no record of my email submission and someone would be in touch with me. No-ones been in touch with me. My energy account isn’t with OVO so I can’t log into their website.I need my FIT payment to. balance my budget Help please. If you have successfully contacted OVO with a similar problem tell me what you did. Or OVO if you’re reading this let me know what to do 

An old garage that was knocked down in 2010 had a Southern Electric meter fitted. Just prior to the garage being demolished, the meter was returned to the Supplier (Southern Electric).Since 2023 OVO have been writing to me requesting access to replace the ‘current‘ meter. Attempts to rectify this have been instigated by me several times by telephone. Despite assurances that this would be sorted out I continue to get ludicrous letters.Can anyone help me please!!!

Our fixed 2 year tariff deal ended in April and we decided to stick with OVO on a new fixed 1 year deal. We had 2 acct numbers when we log in. The old one showing £2892 in credit but new one just opened a month showing £2475 in debit. How can this be?? 🤔🤔🤔🤔Help! veryconfused.com

My new smart meter is not sending data to the DCC. It was installed in Feb 24 and has sent data from 1st April (but not prior) and then stopped on 9th May. The WAN light still flashes every 5 seconds so I cannot understand why it isn’t communicating. The HAN light also flashes every 5 seconds and I can see live data from meter. I am on Octopus and they want to remove me from their EV tariff. Can anyone explain why this would not be communicating data and what I can do about it?  Grateful for any help.

Really disappointed with OVO as I can't get to work because the ev charge schedule was adjusted by Ovo to start at 7 AM.I ALWAYS check in the Ohme app that charge will come on through night allowing me to have enough charge to get to work. BUT, some time after 23.30, the schedule was adjusted to start at 7 am.Ovo need to guarantee a level of service otherwise I'll need to find another tariffI'm with Charge Anytime and have set Ohme up to add 70% every week day by 7.00 am.Suspect I'm not the only one with this issue. 

I have been using my Indra smart charger installed by ChargedEV for over a year and  Charge Anytime for some months with no problems. However, the charger went solid red and offline. Attempts to reset it have failed - soid purple meaning stuck at bootup. The boost button doesn't do anything, so having to use a granny charger for our two EVs. Awaiting a call back but they say could be 2 to 3 weeks for service. Meanwhile, I will be charged full price for electricity. I have solar so I can help manage that, but overall this is not very satisfactory. I see something here about an app from OVO for non smart chargers and Anytime, so it's it possible to use that while the charger gets fixed? 

Hi, Does anyone know what physical work with the electrics is required to set up a BNO please?  This is a recommendation from the DNO (SSEN) to change one 3 phase meter and 7 submeters to have 7 individually supplied meters...But I’m struggling to find a clear explanation of how this works in operation online!Thanks so much,Peter
