Does anyone have any info on Charge Anytime points that launches on Monday? When I joined up I remember something about getting points for keeping you car plugged in for longer. Is this correct and what are the “Points” used for. ThanksBruce

I'm currently waiting for my Cupra Born to be delivered which should be within the next 2 monthsI've got a Hypervolt home 3 Pro charger installed and was wondering if I can sign up for charge anytime now or do I have to wait until my vehicle has arrived?I don't want to miss out on charge anytime incase they stop sign ups before my vehicle arrives.Thanks 

I have moved to ovo from early May after moving into a new property and have been sending in regular meter readings for my gas because they are not automatically picked up, in the last 24 hours I have used no gas and my boiler is off but I have noticed the meter today has increased by 2 units, why is this if I haven't used any since previous meter reading was sent

Hi, I’m new here and can’t seem to find my question in the topics so starting a new one.  I don’t seem to have the option to sign up for the free electricity and choose my time slot. I’ve checked my account and I meet the criteria: direct debit in place, I’m a ‘Beyond’ member and my smart meters send half-hourly readings.  Can someone please explain when the ‘window’ is for choosing your free electricity time slot? And if that window is open now (Sunday afternoon), why can’t I click on the ‘get 2 hours free’ button in my app?  Any help would be gratefully received, I’ve read many articles and forum posts but I’m still confused! Thank you in advance.Kind regards

I made a complaint via the ombudsman last year which OVO stated they were at fault. Since then nothing has happened and my account is still not fixed. I have phoned a few times and used the chat. Keep getting promised a call and nothing ever happens. 

I have an Aclara SGC 1311 and it has been beeping since credit ran out - credit was added within 5 minutes of running out but it has continued to beep the entire day. OVO say this is not an emergency and an engineer can only attend next week😩it is driving everyone crazy. Anyone know how to reset it? It only has an A and B button and I have tried pressing and holding them a million times😩any help much appreciated!!

Hi guys,I’m new to Ovo and have signed up and downloaded the Charge Anytime app.  I have a Porsche Taycan which is currently at 61 percent charged. I want to charge it to 80 percent but the Ovo app is saying the minimum charge level is 50 percent. Unless I do an urgent charge override is there no way of charging it up to 80 percent? Thanks in advance.   

Has the cutoff happened early?  Ever since yesterday my Ohme EPod refuses to smart charge. All I get it “unable to connect, offline”. It isn’t, green icon showing and when I kill the power at the trip the app knows instantly. So it’s obvious that it’s online.  All I can get is Max Charge now.   Rebooted it countless times.  Anytime still shows in Tariff.  Any ideas??  Thanks. 

We’ve had three meter change appointments, for two flats, with four needing upgrading in Oxford. All have a second night heating circuit switched from RTS. I’d love some help !. One OVO meter was changed successfully in a basement flat, (thanks OVO). For one flat above this, which should therefore have better radio reception, two installers have come, said a smart meter wont work, and haven’t brought an option. Appointments are taking a month at a time.So my first question is: if they install the ‘Legacy Meter’ offered, can it definately switch the second circuit night rate power on/off overnight with no radio ?. Cant find this info on the forum anywhere.Meanwhile, the fourth flat uses Octopus, who have just not replied to 2 requests, and I’m not able to phone them as a landlord. While the third flat (basement) has 2 phases, so perhaps needs a different team of installers, equipped correctly ?…..any input very welcome, thanks !

So I had the Kaifa smart meter with domestic economy tariff installed 3 weeks ago. Now my water immersiand storage heaters only switch on between 12:30 and 1:30 am resulting in no hot water or heating. Engineer requested Ecaul and Alcs configuration from the remote team but there has been no change. Why does my meter ping off at 1am and overnight heating appliances stop working? 

I have followed the instructions to remove the Ohme element of charging my car and doing this directly to my car (Mercedes Benz EQC). Everything went fine and now the Ovo Charge Anytime App shows teh charging and also reports savings.Part of the instructions was to go into Ovo Energy App and remove the exisitig Charge Anytime ‘benefit’. Since I moved over to the car direct charge this option has not returned. Is this correct? I am concerned that any credit will not be charged back to my account.Maybe if it is correct then the instructions to swap from Ohme could reflect this.

I fixed (1 year) in Oct 2024.  I thought I'd review my options to fix again and see where Ovo's fixed price offers are today.  I might even considered bailing early on my existing fix and pay the £50 penalty if it made financial sense.  The problem is I can't find what Ovo are offering in terms of simple fixed prices anywhere within the Ovo app.  All i can find under offers is a pile of marketing adverts for everything except simple fixed and variable prices.  Even when I take myself out of the App and online it's the same as you have to enter your postcode and then be told you already have an account so log in and find out what's on offer. Where can I find Ovo's current fixed prices and why is it so hard these days to check Ovo's energy prices?

I am about to buy a Kia EV6 and I believe it is not compatible with the ‘charge anytime’ offerings, however, if have one of the two OVO recommended charger installed as per the recommendation here https://www.ovoenergy.com/electric-cars/smart-charger? does this allow then Charge Anytime offering/saving to be used? Many thanks in advance.

We have bought a house which has pre payment meters I obviously want to a ) change details over b) get rid of pre payment  I just cannot get through on the phone and it’s driving me to dispair there is currently no supply at all 

Help please !My current E10 meter is classified as requiring to be replaced. I have found no electricity supply company saying they are able to provide a new E10 meter, smart or otherwise, AND for me to keep my exisitng E10 hours.Reading various feedback that seem positive, when contacting the electricity company the say they will only supply an overnight cheap rate.Would appreciate  any guidance please. Many thanks

Hi I swapped to OVO 4 weeks ago, maybe a few days more. Electric is fine and the smart meter is sending readings, my gas though has not yet switched. Is this normal, been a while since I’ve switched so not sure if I need to do anything? Thanks for any help.

Whilst looking at renewing contracts/ suppliers I was weighing up SEG options and saw that OVO offer 12p/kWh for beyond accounts.I've been getting 4p/kWh for the last few years and would like to get the 12p.I have beyond already, so what is this process to move over to this better paying SEG arrangement?

I originally joined Power Move when I had my smart meters installed back in no November 2024. everything worked fine and I had notifications for my power move ticket entries each month. from start of April the %age of my usage between 5 and 7pm stopped updating, always showing -%. So I left Power Move in middle of April and rejoined a day later. Now my power move status is stuck at “Updating your Smart Meters for a few weeks now  is this normal?  

Hoping someone can advise why I can’t get a smart meter installed.  Every time I check on the website I get this message:  This has been the case for about 6 months.  I speak to customer services on a regular basis, they’ve never been able to explain what the eligibility checks are, or which one(s) I’m failing.  They usually advise that there is an ‘issue’, but the exact issue changes each time I speak to them (lack of meters, poor signal, RTS priority customers, IT issue on their end, IT issue on my end etc etc).  I’m just outside Edinburgh, and most of my neighbours have smart meters installed and have no issues (none with OVO though) so I can’t understand the problem.This is my meter set-up: I like OVO, this is the only issue we’ve had so far, but we’ve got an electric car on order for August and I’ll be moving to Octopus (who’ve already confirmed they can install a smart meter within a couple of weeks of switching) unless this gets resolved - anyone experienced anything similar, or

Hi, I’ve just seen that OVO Charge Anytime is going to be incompatible with Ohme chargers through the Ohme app. (Annoying as most users have noted). Currently there are three of us using the Ohme app with one car (VW ID3). I’ve followed the instructions to move charging to the Charge Anytime app and this worked for me but my wife gets an error message when she tries this. Does anyone know if more than one user can use Charge Anytime with the same car?

I have a Wallbox Pro charger which I use with Charge Anytime to charge my Porsche Taycan. Will this charger still be compatible with Charge Anytime after your updates in July?

 I had my smart meter fitted and everything has worked great so far. The only problem is that after about a month the electricity estimated bill reset to £0.00 to start calculating for a new month. So far though, the gas just keeps increasing. My bill online is all fine and my direct debit hasn't changed but it's frustrating to not be able to work out what my gas bill will be for the next month. Anyone got any ideas how to sort this out?Thanks 

Gone through the survey, agreement and deposit paid phase.And no follow up.Phone number given is out of service and the email address doesn’t respond!Does anyone have contact info that actually works?
