Joined the latest Power move flex for charge anytime, but after 2 weeks the charger failed. It has now been replaced and the new charger linked to charge anytime. Will it now automatically continue to record sessions for flex, need to be linked in some way, or will I now need to reapply?

I haven’t made any contributions to my private pension either, so nothing more to add to our family budget.   Also if something happens to my partner before me I’m entitled ½ his work private

My father has recently passed away. For ease we always had account in my name and the dd came from my account. So we rang OVO to say house is now empty, can we please reduce DD to a more acceptable amount until house is sold. Apparently this is not possible! So it was suggested that as account had a very large credit balance that the DD was cancelled and future bills would come off the balance. All seemed ok.Since then I have had daily phone calls from collection agents, telling me the DD has been cancelled. This is now verging on harassment. How can I stop this?

Morning all. Recently got the keys to our new home who was supplied with Ovo previously which we have decided to go with also but we need smart meters due to having an EV & Plugin Hybrid but keep getting message saying not eligible. The meter in our new home is the old wheel type meter also. We have had the consumer unit replaced but need the meters replaced.   

Hi,It’s a trio touch button in-home display and it was fine for the first few months. I only have electricity and that’s what it displayed until a few days ago.Now it has a split screen showing gas and various gas options.Gas Usage is 0.0 of course, but I’d like to make the electric display full screen again. Unplugging it overnight didn’t help.I also tried deleting settings and then data. 

 I have the Indra App which works fine and it was linked to the Charge Anytime app until I deliberately deleted it today. The reason I deleted it was because I wish to use Solar to charge my car. I enabled the solar settings on the Indra app yesterday and for the first time I saw some regular charging activity during the day. I then read the article “How solar works for Indra customers in the Charge Anytime app”. Its here https://forum.ovoenergy.com/electric-vehicles-166/how-solar-works-for-indra-customers-in-the-charge-anytime-app-19669 The article suggests that I must go further and tell Charge Anytime that I am using solar. If you haven’t, the article suggests, you should delete the Charge Anytime app and re-register. I have done just that and nowhere in the set up process does the question of solar use come up. As expected I was asked about the Indra charger and having linked to my Indra account that was it. Job done. I seem to be back to where I was before I deleted Charge Anytime

Hi,Genesis GV60 is eligible and listed under Hyundai. But unable to register it to the App as it asks for Hyundai user account credentials (to connect to Hyundai's BlueLink). Genesis is a separate entity than Hyundai and has its own user account (and connectivity app 'Genesis Connectivity Services' - GCS). Please advise on how to register Genesis GV60 to the OVO Charge Anytime app. Thanks

PowerFlex Event has started but cannot get smart meter to read data, so this will mean It won't register what I am consuming. I think this has happened a couple of times before......any ideas

Hi thereI’ve had Charge Anytime working with my Skoda PHEV (charging with a 3-pin plug) for a couple of years, and happy with how it works.  My wife is on the verge of buying a fully electric Skoda, so we’ll be having a dedicated charger installed - probably the Hypervolt Pro 3. My understanding is that I should be able to add the new car to my CA account, and both should charge at the 7p rate.  I’m concerned after seeing this thread that there will be problems because the cars are the same brand (indeed, part of the same parent company as that in the linked thread).Has anybody else encountered problems using two cars of the same brand with Charge Anytime?

My gas meter is just outside my home but the electricity meter is in a communal building about 20 metres away. I understand that a Smart Meter works by radio, so would it work on my installation?

Hi all,Interested to know if anyone else has experienced issues with Power Move Flex for EV Charge Anytime? We have a Hypervolt 3 charge and have experience no issues with it or Charge Anytime since installation (some 6 months), until now. Hypervolt reports no issues and the car charges when requested to do so.I signed up for the trial that started in July and all was fine until 4 or so days ago. I have plugged the car in more frequently than usual and have periodically received and responded to emails requesting I extend the ‘ready by’ time, which we dutifully have done. last week (on the most inconvenient day as is always the way) the car did not charge by the ready by time (or charge at all over the night). It has not charged since when plugged in which has been very inconvenient and required us to charge immediately at the non-Charge Anytime rate.I contacted OVO and was told the only option was to request removal from the trial which seems rather counter productive. Hi all,We’ve got an Indra Smart Pro charger which has charged almost everything we’ve connected at Charge Anytime rates - with the one exception of a friend’s Ford Capri, which obstinately went to sleep and didn’t wake up to charge when prompted.We’re probably going to add a Peugeot e208 to our lives shortly. Anyone else got this combination - and does it work OK? 

OVO have been promising access to online account mangement via their new website for over a year now and it is still not available. Why is it taking so long to migrate customers from a legacy system? This is a task that should not be that difficult. Everytime I need to make a change or sometimes give an extra meter reading I have to spend ages on the phone or on the chatbot.

I received an email yesterday stating that in July for Power Flex move I had shifted 1.6kWh electricity but had earned 0 hours free electricity over July.On 30 July saying I had an email with my Power Move Flex results stating that from 21 to 27 July I had shifted 1.22kWh and had earned 1 hour free electricity.On 8 August I received an email stating that I had shifted 0.44kWh on 28 July.Both emails stated that I would receive a bill credit at the end of the month.The two added together amount to 1.66kWh as per the email I received yesterday. So why did the email yesterday state that I had earned 0 hours free electricity in July.The emails are contradictory and does that mean I won’t receive any credit?Perhaps someone might know the answer?Thank you

Just curious, when we all changed to the new app I noticed I no longer have the ‘your EV’ section on my app on the website, I quite liked how easy it was to see the energy useage difference for comparing tariffs etc on renewal, is there still a way to see this easily without having to manually tot everything up from the anytime app and thebills?Or is there an export usage for the month in the app I’m just missing to get the total kwh so I can work it out a lot easier?

I find it hilarious that OVO advises me to increase my direct debit from £85 to £160+. A month on a two up two down townhouse when I switched because they were cheaper than my previous supplier. . Don’t they realise I will simply switch back . Lol  

I had Smart Meters (gas and electricity) installed on 3rd March. When will I see my first statement? Your FAQ says it can take 6-8 weeks (though not why it takes so long), but it is now over 10 weeks. I can see my usage on the website (though strangely not in the app), so I know the meter readings are going to you, and obviously my DD credits are accumulating, so the lack of statements is not a major issue, but presumably I ought to be getting them at some point ... Richard.

This message here is my last chance to get help. No one at OVO will help. They just pass me around, 10 times!!! Next step it to take legal advice. I have no choice! OVO support staff WILL NOT HELP!!! I spent two hours on the phone and spoke to 10 different people. And not a single one can help. The web site will not allow me fix the issue online as the house has a pre payment meter. I have to phone. My old OVO account was closed when I moved out of my flat a month ago. I could not be sure my purchase would happen. So I had no new address at that time. So the account was closed.I have now purchased a new house.The new house has a pre payment meter with a keyI need an OVO account so that I can then buy electricNo one at the OVO call centre can help. They just keep passing me from department to department. Why can I not buy electric from you? Last year Ovo organised for a replacement for my ancient electricity meter, as the power generated from my solar panels was making it go backwards. This has now happened with the apparently up-to-the-minute replacement. Lots of people are now generating with solar panels, so any clues as to the answer? And please don't say: a smart meter!

OVO are unable to fit a Smart Meter in the utilities department in the building of my flat due to heritage meters and apparently the whole building would need to be rewired. Apparently I might be able to have the Smart Meter fitted inside my flat and I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not this the case? OVO say it is not possible to book a further appointment with an engineer to view my flat (he did not do so in  the original visit) he only viewed the utility cupboard in the building of my flat.I was wondering if  anyone could advise me whether or not it is possible for a Smart Meter to be fitted inside my flat?  

My Dimplex Quantum ‘G’ Series storage heaters are no longer being charged since the new smart meter was installed. Current is getting to both control and charge circuits during the off-peak periods, but the cores are not being charged. They were regularly charged automatically without a hitch during the now deceased THTC’s RTS. Any enlightenment?

I have just moved in to an all electric flat in Perthshire, and inherited an Ampy dual rate meter with 4 cables and one dummy port. I believe this means that there was an inbuilt timer for switching between high and low rates.However… I decided to switch to Octopus and have a smart meter installed. After installation, my smart display began giving me times for high and low rates; for example, low… 14:30 to 17:30. So, I now wish to ask 3 things!1   Is it possible to find the timings for a full days cycle without sitting up all night?2   Will my Dimpex Duoheat units turn on automatically on the low power cycles?3   When I called Octopus, an agent gave me rates and times that are different to what is being displayed locally; timed from midnight to 07:30. I appreciate that this is an OVO forum, but members might have encountered a similar discrepancy when switching, and any advice will be received with much gratitude.

We have solar panels installed and our electricity meter is running backwards and are unable to have a smart meter installed as there is no mobile signal. we have contacted Ovo a twice to report that our meter is running backwards but haven’t been able to get a clear response from them. It’s clear that we need an export meter fitted. But how will this work practically? Will our Ovo account give us the ability to input the reading from our export meter? Who can we get to install one? Thanks

Good morning, we have been trying for a few months now to get OVO to change over our RTS meter without success. When the first engineer came out he said he was unable to swap the meter as it required a senior engineer to do the work. Weeks later after much pressing OVO we got a 2nd engineers appointment for them to come out and swap the meter. However when he looked at the setup he also said he was unable to swap the meter, but he provided us with the reason why.It is due to our RTS meter being inside the property beside the fuseboxes and not outside in the white box with the main meter. Apparantly they need an electrician to carry out some work first which the engineer is not qualified to do.It seems ridiculous that after the first engineers visit this was not picked up and was only noted at after the 2nd engineers visit. The whole OVO setup regarding RTS meter swapping seems broken at best. With the switch off date being two weeks away we are no further forward.Following a recent cal
