Power Move Flex event but I don't think my meter is sending data?

PowerFlex Event has started but cannot get smart meter to read data, so this will mean It won't register what I am consuming. I think this has happened a couple of times before......any ideas

Hi,

It’s good to double-check with the support team. But it sounds that you cannot see the data on your IHD (In-Home Display) during the Power Move Flex event. If that’s the case, then no need to worry. A smart meter records all your data even if there is a bad connection. Once the connection is fine, it sends all recorded data to OVO. All sent data should be seen on the app or your online account. If I remember correctly, it’s common for IHD to display average (not precise) data. Like, to have an idea.

 

As mentioned above by our community members, it’s the actual meter itself and not the In-Home Display that records your meter data. If you notice that the actual meter isn’t sending data to us, please do get in touch with the Support Team so they can try to sort this.

Ask support to check your meter is sending every 30 minutes.

Is it the Smart Meter or the Display Unit that doesn’t appear to be working.  If you mean the display unit that doesn’t necessarily mean that your smart meter is not sending the data.
