I have read somewhere that Ovo have introduced a scheme/ plan where you can get up to £100 back for reducing usage between certain hours

I have an Ohme Home Pro and am trying to add Charge Anytime. I get to the confirmation screen that is badged with the Ohme logo and asks me to confirm I’m happy to share with Kaluza. When I tap on Confirm, the app crashes or the website says something went wrong.I contacted the Smart Home team who sent me an email saying that there’s a problem with accounts setup using an Apple email and I should contact Ohme to disconnect the account and just use an email address. Thing is, my account is one with just an email address!I contacted Ohme who say everything looks good their end so I have now gone back to the Smart Home team but haven’t had a response yet.Has anyone else come across this issue in the meantime?I will obviously update as and when I hear from the team but this is really annoying as it’s the main reason I moved to OVO!

My gas meter is faulty and showing vend mode when I am a pay monthly customer.   Since Saturday no gas supply ans no answer from ovo socials!     Now a bank holiday and still no way to contact them.    Shocking service surley they must have some emergency contact details 🙄,  no heating , water or cooking facilities for what is potentially going to 3 days 

Why does my meter that shows how much energy I am using per day per week per month show less than the actual.meter does for example appliance says I have used say £15 a month actual meter in the cupboard that exports the reading says I have used £25 a month.  When the little gadget thing goes to midnight it registers about 1 pence then suddenly jumps to 74 pence even though there is on the fridge freezer on as we are usually going to bed.  I have oil central heating.  Thank you

I recently had a smart meter installed and there is an extra set  of old fuses between the smart meter tails and the incoming mains supply. Can I get this tidied up so I can reduce the size of the cupboard in which they live? See picture attached.Many thanks,TidyNeil 

Hi, after having  Smart Meter fitted my powerline extenders (TP-LINK) have become sporadic and have lost speed. These only work on 2.4ghz so no option to change settings to 5ghz, has anyone else experienced this problem? If so does anyone have a solution.? 

I am in urgent need of help and advice.I currently have a 2 x 100A Supply into a mixed commercial/residential building and have just had a new 3-phase 100A supply installed, currently looking for a supplier to install meters.The issue I have is that I may have a requirement for a 3-phase supply in either the new cafe or the new warehouse but my electrical contractor is advising me to split my new 3-phase supply on the 3 flats but that means I then have only 2 x 100A supply for the rest of the building. I really want to use the 3-phase supply to service both my warehouse and my cafe which may have some requirements for a 3-phase supply which I will not have from my residential flats. If I keep my 3-phase supply can I split that supply between meters and allowing for diversity to run all of my appliances that require a heavier load from the 3-phase supply i.e, kitchen appliances and warehouse equipment.  

About 18 months ago I had a single (second hand non-smart) E7 meter fitted to replace the previous 2 meter set up on which I was charges a legacy tariff.  I had asked for a smart meter but the engineer told me on arrival that this would not be possible, and offered me the 2nd hand E7 meter which he just happened to have in his van.   The whole idea was to allow me to shop around for the best deal, which with 2 separate meters had not been possible.  Events since have scuppered that but hopefully there will be a competitive market again sometime!Embarrassingly, I have only just realised that the cheap rate only applies to the immersion heater and storage heater.  Would it be possible to have the meter changed so all my usage during the E7 period (midnight to 7am) is charges at the cheap rate?  This seems to be how it is expected to be used.  Thanks in advance.

I have a question. We have PV panels since the beginning so highest rate of return. Can we fit a immersion diverter and not jeopardise our fit contract. We buy from British Gas but have been passed to Ovo. We have a smart meter. thanks in anticipation. 

SInce my earlier post has been deleted I am coming back aain to show that my energy projections are wrong. And I am sure this will be the case for others.  Below details show my electricity use in April 2023 is 71.96, also look my last bills Although Ovo says they update projection with actual use, they project I will use 217 pounds in April 2024.  And ask me to increase DD to 294. Are there any other with same issue?  

Long story short, we are with Octopus (were Bulb). Octopus cannot connect to our old smart meter and are unable to fit new ones for ex Bulb customers yet and no timeframe! We need the smart meter as we are committed to having solar and ASHP installed - without the meter we cannot have the special tariffs. If we came across to OvO how long would it take them to fit a smart meter and presumably they too have special tariffs for solar and ashp?Thank youColin

I have storage radiators which are powered by two separate off-peak periods. One during the night and a second 2-hour period each afternoon. Would a 5-port Smets2 Smart meter be able to provide 2 charge periods as I now have?

Hey, just got an MG HS PHEV, Ohme charger and went to swap to the OVO Anytime tariff (10p) to then find out my car is not listed (actually no MGs are) so looks like I cannot move onto the tariff? has anyone else have an MG and found the same? Is there an alternative tariff or does it look like I now need to change provider as currently paying 32p flat rate all day which for the car works out not that much cheaper than a gallon of fuel.

​Hi, my android OVO app hasn't shown any electricity usage/cost since 20th October. Gas is fine. I've checked my SMETS1 smart meter and it's blinking and pausing as it should, therefore sending data. AFAIK, I have the latest version of the app, 15.5.0.​

What is going on??? Its been well over 6 weeks and Ebico tell me that OVO have not sent my final meter readings. Why is this? I’ve emailed OVO as well and I’ve had no response. This needs to be resolved asap. Absolutely ridiculous that I can’t seem to get a straight answer from you guys. You obviously have my meter readings and you’ve been taking money out of my account without issue. So what is the problem? What information do you need from me to get Ebico my final meter readings????????

I had SMETS 2 smart meters installed on 21st December, so coming up for eight weeks ago. Meter readings for both the gas and electricity are showing up just fine on my account.My gas usage is billing nicely (but I barely use any of that because I can’t afford to); but, despite submitting meter readings,  I haven't had a single consumption-based charge for electricity since they stopped doing (wildly inaccurate) estimated charges for the old disconnected meter on 9th of January. I haven't had a meaningful bill since November and my next bill is due in three days. I've spoken to customer services umpteen times, by WhatsApp and voice call, but they are as much use as a chocolate teapot and refuse to let you speak to anyone knowledgeable. I am trying to stay ahead by keeping my account in credit by what I THINK the missing charges should be, but I shouldn't have to do that, especially as I am disabled, living with multiple complex health conditions, cognitive impairment resulting from brai

I joined OVO 10 days ago, and had the smart meter fitted yesterday. Great service, and very polite installer. also changed the gas meter.However it caused issues. the power reconnection seemed to cause a power surge and blew an audio component power supply. plus the boiler isnt working today (was serviced last week, and was fine until yesterday), so cold water and no heating this morning.Any idea who I should speak with about these? 

Help !! Been  without electricity since 5pm was near the end of emergency credit but I thought friendly credit would apply as it’s a bank holiday. I  put my last £10 on it and still supply is off . I have googled everything I can think of. 

My charge anytime app has stopped updating direct to the car.Still not working after turning the phone off and on a few times.What shall I do next?

Hello , i am hoping someone can help me and explain to me how to discover/recover historical meter readings or how far back would this information be retained on the meter(would it be on the meter since installation?) , I would be very grateful for any advice . from what I have read the information maybe on button 4 but would like some advise from those more knowledgeable than myself , thank you . Over several months  Ovo have  claimed monies owed but despite me sending them detailed documentation  i have only received generic reply . Ovo have also stated that the email address used is no longer monitored so i must contact by phoneThis is not acceptable as the response i want is in the same detailed form as i provided and a phone call would waste both our times until the figures are presentedMy concern is that unless it is resolved i will continue to get bills saying that monies are owed when they have failed to disprove my figures and putting my creditworthyness in questionDoes any member have a functioning email address or CEO details as i am losing patience 

Ok a bit of a technical/process question this one Say for example I book a smart Meter Appointment for next Weds and on the Tuesday i decide to switch energy providers for either one or both fuels using a firm which has a two day switch process, so the switch completes on the weds Will the next meter install go ahead? I know if it was booked for any time after the new supplier takes over it would be cancelled,.  Would this also be true if the day of install was also the day of the switch thanks in advance

Why does my smart metre show about 3kw of electricity are suddenly used at around midnight every night. Nothing is on in the house at that hour. Could it be some sort of boost to the solar panels battery? It didn't appear when they were first installed in September last.  

Hello,We are getting our house ready to fit an air source heat pump.  We have seen a few houses around us that have installed the heat pump in the light well at the front of the house.   We would like to do this, but want to know whether it makes sense.  We would put the ASHP on the ledge so the top would be at the top of the lightwell the depth (wall to bay window) of the lightwell is around 2.4m so room to have space behind and in front.  one side is totally open the other side will have a wall around 0.5-1.0m away.I know there needs to be good airflow around the pump and this seems enough (and more than the places we have seen them installed in other lightwells).   Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks
