I’ve not seen this issue before but today (20th May) I went to get my May gas usage and it was only reporting up to the 15th. I looked at the day report for the 15th which was there but then I was able to right click right through to the 18th May and get the daily usage. Back to the month view and it is still only showing usage up to the 15th. Electric usage is being reported correctly as in the combined month report. This has to be an data processing error as it looks like the gas meter is reporting the data correctly.ThanksPeter

I’m looking for a bit of help and advice if possible. I have had a ‘smart’ meter fitted today but as it is in the basement of the house, it has been unable to get a signal. Basically I was told ‘there is nothing that can be done im afraid’. The reason for wanting the smart meter was to take advantage of the cheap overnight electricity rate which will save us around £500 a year over 2 electric cars.I was wondering if anybody may be able to offer advice on where to go from this point to hopefully resolve the issue or if anybody has had similar issues and managed to find a way to resolve it?TIA

How do I add someone to my account so that they can speak to OVO too?

My billing period is 19 May – 18 Jun 2023. Current charge is zero.I’m paying £136.00 on the 19th of each month. I arrive at the house on May 22nd. Does anybody know why I am being charged £136 tomorrow considering my billing period started in May 19? Is this normal?

Hi,Looking at the Indra Smart Pro 4 as first EV charger. Read some reviews and it mentions wi-fi connectivity is not built in and that there is a wi-fi dongle which needs to be fitted which will make the charger wi-fi ready. Question is for installation, would there be an additional charge to this dongle being fitted - is this non-standard?About to go through the process but don’t want something limited to mobile network data. Would appreciate if anyone has any insight/experience of this and if there was extra cost or hassle to get wi-fi ready.Thanks in advance

Just got the Chameleon IHD and the battery only last 2 hours. Is it faulty?

Can anyone remember what the fixed rate tariffs for electricity, both standard and Economy 7 were in February 2021? There doesn’t seem to be an archive with this information.

Can anybody identify this L+G E470 5236J-Y? Is it smets 1 or 2 and as there is no comms hub is it fair to say it is not connected or is the comms hub built in?Thank you  

My Ovo Energy is showing correct daily readings for both electricity and gas, up to today, and my bills show actual rather than estimated readings but I have been sent a letter from Ovo Energy (with correct name, address and account number) saying I need to send them readings because my smart meter hasn’t sent them a meter reading for over 9 months.  Is this some sort of error on Ovo’s part or a scam?

I closed an account on 1st Feb, gave the final meter reading, thought all was closed. I still have bills available on OVO and am now being chased for the £67 Energy support scheme which was added on 21st April. The account was closed so why was it applied? I don’t believe we’re due OVO anything. Can anyone explain it to me? Thank you

Can someone tell me what will OVO's economy7 day, night, and standing charge rates be from 1st June 2023 for ex SSE customers in Hampshire?

Hi All. We had our first ever smart meter fitted some weeks ago now which had to be replaced by an emergency engineer a day later as our storage heaters and hot water would not come on. (Economy 7)The new meter seems to be communicating with OVO to some degree but is only using TOU1 and is not using TOU2 at all which displays 00000 kWh. We have agreed a peak/off peak plan with OVO but the IHD is displaying a single tariff of 30.86p per kWh which is not our agreed plan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 

My bill period end date is the 4th which is when I submit my meter readings from the 5th to the 10th when I go online to check the total of my bill every day from as early at the 5th to the 10th I can get a total every day but it is always different each day - increasing always.  I cannot under why there computer has to calculate my readings why it takes so many recalculations over 3 to 5 days to produce the final bill I would have thought all the information to calculate my bill is in the computer and one run would calculate an accurate bill.  Any thoughts or similar occurrence I am On OFGEMs tariff not a plan which I would have thought would make it even easier?

So on the 9th May 6am nothing changed to our daily lives but my electricity usage increased by 12 times. It went from a constant 0.03kwh to 0.4kwh, nothing has changed and we are now spending a huge amount on electricity for no change of actual usage. Please can someone help asap as this is rinsing my money each day!

Yesterday engineer come to change smets 1 to smets2 and he  was checking electric smart meter he said I can't do it because the metal door the box is wood but the door only metal .any advice I really appreciate thanks 

I just opened my door to find a man reading my electric meter. When I said I send monthly readings he replied saying they have to do regular safety checks. Is this legitimate?

Please can someone advise.  I know nothing about storage heaters apart from the fact that my daughters in her new apartment and hers don’t heat up.  Not sure if we are doing something wrong or the system is broke.   Basically on each side of two of the heaters there are two plugs that are wired to the heater.  One shows it has a fuse and the other doesn’t.  In the cupboard is what looks like an emersion heater.  There are two switches in there.  One that says ‘switch for emersion heater’   The other says Economy 7 supply.  Landlord says switch both of them on at night and turn off in the morning.  Also to set output on the heater to 1 and input to 9.  I’m assuming that’s when it uses the economy 7 Tariff.  We then switched on the power on the right side of the heaters which doesn’t say it has a fuse and expected to have heat and hot water this morning but nothing! All stone cold.  Are we supposed to have the power on the right side of the heater on as well? The one in the hall only has

Hi, Just had smart meters and new style IHD installed and have a couple of questions please as have no user instructions. 1. By 6.00am every morning (when I get up) it tells me that I've already used around £1.30 of dual fuel on a total spend per day of around £3.50. Why so high when the central heating/water turns on around 5.30am? 2. What do the green/orange/red lights tell me at the bottom of the IHD, (not the meters)? Thanks. Jez

I’ve just got a notice of default letter, telling my that my debt is £0. They’ve warned me that if I don’t call back within 30 days, then they will share my data with credit reference agencies … Or get a court order for the money I owe, which is apparently £0.We have gotten letters for the past few days, repeatedly, even when we paid the full amount, and today just received this letter.Can anyone tell me what might be going on?

I‘m told my next “reading date” is the 1st. June., but the “Help” on the OVO site states “You must give us a generation meter reading before the end of each of these months to get paid for that quarter”. Does that mean I can give a reading any time in June and get paid within the stated 8 weeks from that date?

Just switched over and the account shows only my old  address and nil usage etc since I moved out in May last year!  None of my new details are showing, including usage and current balance. Any suggestions? Thanks

I recently read a post from @S Hart bemoaning the receipt of an email from OVO concerning changes the company was making to achieve net zero.  I didn't agree with what Mr. Hart was saying or how he was saying it, mainly because he missed the main point.  I’m surprised more OVO customers haven’t discussed this email on this forum as it seems quite an important change in the way OVO are going to interact with those of its customers who like to try and buy 100% renewable energy.  Indeed, it may be why a lot of customers  signed up to OVO in the first place - I know I did.So the explanation that OVO gave in the “we’re making some changes” email and subsequent link giving a deeper explanation….https://www.ovoenergy.com/blog/path-to-zero….was interesting more for what it didn’t say about REGO’s than what it did.  Intrigued I went to Cornwall Insights.  Cornwall Insights had been commissioned by OVO to tell us that REGO’s aren’t helpful in achieving a path to net zero which supported why OVO

trying to get smart electric meter fitted but told cannot have one, we already have smart gas meter so why not electric too?

Hi,I’ve had the Indra Smart Pro Charger hooked up to my Tesla for more than a week now and I’m on the Charge Anytime tariff.It’s been working well but I think I’ve made a mistake because I’ve installed the Charge Anytime App and configured it to talk to the Tesla.Reading around this forum apparently that isn’t necessary because OVO will control the Indra Smart charger directly without the need of the Charge Anytime App.Could someone please tell me how to roll back from this and remove my credentials etc from the Charge Anytime App?  Is the “Delete Account” option what I need to do? Do I then set the charging schedule in the Indra App and that’s all?Thanks for your help!
