If I have a smart meter installed by OVO , then switch providers and the meter(s) malfunction who do I    contact to repair meter(s)

I'm moving on the 8th February and have already informed OVO so my Fixed Plan will end on that date, I have been taking part in the Power Move Flex this month and have earned credit in 3 of the events so far but will I still  received the credit for February if my contract has ended.

Set up my account with a nice lady who said I had smart meters and meter readings would be sent automatically and I would be paying monthly when it was due for gas and electric. Today (Sat 11th Jan) I woke up to no gas or heating or hot water. I had to call my landlord to get a certified gas engineer out only to be told I have a pre-payment gas meter that I have to top up. It had no credit hence why no gas, This was never mentioned to me. I then tried to call you and your phone lines are closed at weekends! Hi I'm originally an SSE customer. My gas was turned off yesterday due to leak. I'm without heating, hot water and stove.At the earliest when can you fix the gas smart meter? 

I have been told by OVO that I need to have a smart meter installed as my key meter is faulty. An OVO engineer visited my home and told me that the earth to my meter is in the wrong place and has to be moved before a new meter can be installed. I contacted an electrician from my local authority and he said that the meter has a tamper proof seal on it at that point and that it can only be removed by OVO. I contacted OVO today to inform them and sent them the picture below showing the tamper proof seal. OVO said that this was not installed by them and that I had to get the job done by an electrician. As I have already been told by the contractor for my local housing authority this is the responsibility of OVO I’m now stuck. I’m unlikely to be able to get an electrician to come out at the same time as an OVO engineer for various reasons. Most smart meters will soon start sending readings every 30 minutes as standard. If yours doesn't already, it will switch to half-hourly readings in 7 to 10 days.I have never had a smart meter keep an eye on my meter readings, I only have the one in near my electric consumer box that I take meter reading from, do you supply smart meters.

Hi I’m moving into a new house, and the previous tenant mentioned they have debt on the energy account, which they plan to retain and pay off through a payment plan.Can I open a new ovo account in my name without inheriting their debt?

I have taken part in all the power move flex events and achieved credit in most. However there has been no credit applied to my latest bill (dec-jan)?

Hiya!As part of its Support Package, I was offered a heated throw from OVO on 7 November - but haven’t heard anything about delivery. Does anyone know when these will arrive?Also, had a call from a number on 17th November - 0044 333 311 1231 - claiming to be from OVO, but I don’t recognise the number. Has anyone else had this call? Thanks

Hi, I’ve just joined OVO and I’m unable to link my Volvo 2024 Recharge to OVO Charge Anytime. I’ve tried several times but the Volvo app just says sorry, your accounts can’t be paired at the moment. I have the Pod Point which isn’t recognised so the smart charging will be via the Volvo app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, D

Hi I'm with OVO energy for electric and eon for gas. I got told to get smart meters you have to be with same company for both. I don't know why this would need to be. 

can you connect a 2nd charger to charge anytime and use them both at the same time?

I just got an email from Ovo which has suddenly landed me with a massive increase on my electricity usage.I have gone from averaging 14kWh per day from Dec 21 to Oct 22 to 44kwh since then. In early Jan it was 73kwh per day!I have gas heating and water - there is literally no reason why I could suddenly be using 3 + times more electricity. Any suggestions? Am not sure why I have only just had my bill adjusted either as the meter readings have been sent automatically each month.

I have been taking part in the Ovo Power Move Challenge since the Summer, and have successfully reduced my energy consumption during peak hours most months to less than 8% of total consumption.In early January I received am email from Ovo about the December Power Move challenge which said: Your smart meter can sometimes stop sending us readings. It usually sorts itself out, but we need a minimum of 14 weekdays' worth of readings to work out whether you've hit your Power Move target. This time, we didn't have this information.Unfortunately this means you won't receive a Power Move credit this month.I have emailed a complaint to Ovo to point out that they actually received 16 weekday’s plus 7 weekend day’s worth of readings, and therefore they could work out if I hit the Power Move target (My peak use for those 23 days was actually 2.8%). Hi all I have a Liberty 100 electric & EGV4v gas meter. I am attempting to connect a second hand Pipit 500 IHD to them but the IHD is asking for a PIN number to un-pair the previously paired meter before I can attempt to connect the unit to my meters. I have tried the pin 1793 which does not work (number was obtained from the manual and various internet posts, this number does work with the units advanced settings but not for un-pairing), I have also tried generic pin’s like 0000, 1234 etc but they don’t work either.Please can someone provide the correct pin or details on how to factory reset the Pipit. Thank youChas242

My key was stolen. I picked up a blue key from a shop after being given an RTI code from OVO. I’ve been given another RTI code for the £100 that was on my stolen card. I went to the shop and it didn’t work. Did I need to activate my new card?

I have had Charge Anytime for a few weeks now, and other than an issue with Ovo displaying incorrect monthly £/kWh totals, it has been working great, until now!Plugged in yesterday evening around 6pm, unplugged this morning to find it had not charged at all. Looking in the Ohme app it shows it was plugged in for the duration, but zero charging took place - which has caused a bit of an issue travelling today 😠The schedule on the Ohme is set to smart charge to 100% by 7am, and has worked perfectly until now. Why did it not charge? Did Kaluza determine that there was no ‘green’ time to do it, so just did nothing? This is very concerning and raises serious questions about the smart charging concept going forward.   

Hi, I had my RTS meter replaced with a smart meter in December. I wasn’t aware it would cause my fuse box to trip for as long as I’ve been told (6 weeks as per the time given for information to be updated), I was under the impression this would last only about 48 hours. A week or two after it was fitted I asked OVO support about the fuse box tripping, and was told I’d have to wait the 6 weeks. It flips 10-20+ times a day, but the issue is that my heating system takes so long to heat up that my house is sitting at about 13-14C, and I’m a disabled person. This is causing me a lot of pain on top of the expected annoyance at the inconvenience. I’ve also had my computer shut down while writing, losing anything I’ve been working on that hasn’t been saved- which is more of an inconvenience but I’m afraid it’ll mess up my computer eventually as the flips are quite unpredictable. The standing charge and kWh rate on my Chameleon IHD are higher than my account tariffs . My Account tariffs are correct, any way to correct the IHD display? Thanks.

I turned on Urgent mode yesterday, just to test.I now cannot get the app to turn it off again. I have followed the FAQ guidance which says to unplug the charger for at least 30 minutes. It has been unplugged for a good deal longer, and still is not resetting. Why does the app not have a button to turn off Urgent mode? Please can you advise how I can get the app to switch back to the Schedule? UPDATE: Wouldn’t you know it, I just checked the app now and Urgent mode has turned off.HOWEVER: There really REALLY needs to be a button to turn it off. I realise this is probably a problem with Kaluza, but needs to happen. 

I have an old smart meter, I have had no gas to any appliances since Friday evening and the meter is displaying open valve fail. It sounds like a battery fail. How can i get an emergency repair? Can't get through to OVO helpline until Monday??

We have just moved into our rented property and are worried that the usage stated on the app is not correct.there is a smart meter in the property but not one that we have assigned to our account! Or asked for,  Is the smart reader for the property? so therefore reading our electricity correctly and the online account is wrong?  the daily standing charge on the smart meter is also different to what it says on our tariff account online. we are now worried as it says we are using over £10 per day!!!!!  PLEASE HELP AS IF THIS IS CORRECT WE WILL HAVE TO DO SOME CUTTING DOWN DRASTICALLY

I have just been offered new OVO fixed plan deals. My current fixed plan runs out in March so my question is: If I choose a new  fixed plan now (January) will it start right away or will it not start until March when my current one runs out?

The backdated statements from Apollo do not show on my ap or on my online OVO account. How do I get copies ?
