Hi all.  I haven’t got my Power Move Flex for  Charge Anytime results for December (and I plugged in pretty much every day - so should be something worthwhile to get!).  Anyone else not seen these?  It is still running isn’t it?  Thanks!  

I’m writing this on behalf of my 85+ year old mother. Apologies for the long post but it does explain pretty much perfectly the issue.  Shes with OVO and has been for many years, this year her very old manual thermostat started playing up and heating was coming on in the middle of summer and was a nightmare.  I saw the Tado V3+ (Wireless Thermostat, Internet bridge and wireless receiver) deal OVO were offering earlier in the year and she bought it.   Eventually an electrician installed this around June, it's been working perfectly since then with her Baxi EcoBlue boiler. As she is on approaching 90 and is quite frail, shes like to have the heat on so its been working from around October/November time, she likes it at an indicated 23degs. I dont think it is quite that high but feels better than the 14degs  on her old thermostat!!  We have a schedule setup so from 10pm-7am daily she has it set at 14 degs C, 7am-10pm 23degsC. Her bungalow has exceptional insulation and over night, even wh

What do people find is the most effective hysteresis setting (for heating) for their ASHPs during a prolonged cold spell like we’re having currently (UK)? I have a Grant ASHP (radiators) and it’s currently 0.2 but I’m thinking I could remove it completely whilst so cold. Interested to hear what others do.Thanks in advance.A

took my electric key to the shop to top up, failed to top up on the shops side, put key back in and now there is a blinking red light? Any idea why this failed to be topped up (was able to top up gas card at the time) and is now doing this? 

My 3 bedroom house was empty for 29 days in October 2023 as there was a change of tenant.  The house is 3 bedroom semi detached.  My estate agent supplied details to OVO for meter readings.  Electricity use for the period was approximately £50Gas use for the period was approx £12,800 - that is a bill of around £480/dayOVO were alerted to this by my estate agent in December.Since then i have spoken on phone and on chat with customer care, sent emails in, sent complaint emails in and had no response.I have had one debt agency contact me and when i spoke to them about the debt they said “we are sending this back to OVO, its clearly a massive mistake, that bill is ridiculous.’ My estate agent said after speaking with OVO that they would stop with the debt collection and investigate.  Then yesterday, 26th March, i was contacted by ANOTHER debt agency chasing me for a £13,000 unpaid bill - for 29 days of gas and electricity.Why am i getting absolutely nowhere speaking with OVO on the phone a

I am an OVO customer for my electricity but with British Gas currently for my gas. Forgive my cheek for posting on the OVO forum but I can’t find another route to find answers.  I had an electric Smart meter installed by OVO in October 2022 and since then it has been working perfectly.   L+G E470 with Toshiba SKU1 communication hub. On 17th October 2023 I had a Smart gas meter installed by British Gas (L+G G470 SMETS2). When the engineer installed the meter he was in a rush and said he had to leave before the meter was fully commissioned but said another engineer would come out to complete the installation. This never happened and I was left with a piece of yellow tape on the meter saying “No commission”. I have contacted BG via Chat and phone about every 2 months but just keep getting the same answer - an engineer doesn’t need to be sent and to just wait and it would be  resolved.  Nothing is yet resolved after over a year. I have now lost patience and am trying to arm myself with as

Given 8 digit code to set up gas card, followed steps to activate card in meter, card reading as invalid in shops. Tried with two separate cards, same result. No emergency credit due to needing to use it (OVO failed to send out gas card after asking for one on multiple occasions or inform us we could get one from shop for almost a month) it is currently -4, two disabled people in the house, no emergency line to call and the gas has now been cut off. What do I do? 

We are all electric and on THTC, or so we believe, we moved here in March 2021 and we have been trying to switch since we moved in, due to our apparent meter type we were with SSE then switched over to OVO. Currently going through energy ombusman to get a different meter/tarriff, due to living in the countryside we have to travel to a shop and due to weather it is not always possible and being pay as you go its not sustainable and we were told absolutely no way can we get a different meter and we would just have to wait until the RTS shuts down and hopefully we can get a smart meter(apparently this is not possible at the moment due to signal, yet others on our street have smart meters)OVO have argued that we are on a THTC tarriff..but the rates he gave me dont match the rates on our actual meter, each rate on our meter being 1pence more per kw. We have been told by someone, that our meter is infact an economy 7/10 meter. I cant seem to see the RTS box or the second meter they are claim

Why would I occasionally keep getting a balance adjustment message on my pay as you go smart meter? Surely the money just goes down as I use it. Why are they taking more from me?

We have just had our power move flex roundup for the week 2 dec to 8 dec and they seem to have missed the event for 5 dec for which we moved approx 7.5Kw? 

Was there any Power Move Flex events from the 23rd to the 29th of December please.

Where can I see the monthly total of kWh charge via Chargeanytime?  I can only see the daily figures and I don’t want to have to add up 30 days every month!  There must be a report somewhere???

Hi there - I’m helping my Mum move house. She is currently a British Gas dual fuel customer, but we want to set her up with an OVO account in her new place. She moves on Tuesday 7th Jan. Is that possible, or are we best sticking with British Gas for the move and then switching after she has moved? Thank you in advance for your help. 

Previously on THTC plan. Smart meter was installed on the 16 October 24To date cannot access Ovo app directed to online account After smart meter installation when checking online account still found that since smart meter installed the daily standing charge still increasing and account still showed THTC planOn contacting customer service to make them aware of the Still increasing daily standing charge received email from them stating that the THTC plan would stop on the 15 th October 24 and the new smart meter plan starts on the 16 th October 24 and that I would  Not be charged for Two daily standing charges or energy usage from period 15 th October-9 th November ( billing period 8th October- 9 th November )Online account shows bill is now available The billing shows the THTC billing as I would normally receive which includes the daily standing charge has continued to the end of the billing period There is no billing showing for the smart meter from 16 th October to 9 th November end

Hi all.I have an Audi Q8 etron and an Ohme Smart Pro charger which is compatible with OVO Charge Anytime. Can anyone tell me how I charge a second EV? Can I just plug in the charger, or do I need to change the vehicle on the Ohme app every time?Thanks.

Hello all.I only joined OVO in March, so I’ve only had 4 monthly statements so far & every 1 of them have been wrong.As a new customer I’ve been keeping an eye on my account, just to make sure my direct debit payment covers my actual usage costs.I’m guessing I have a different setup to most, as in the fact that we have 2 gas meters & 1 electric. only 1 gas, 1 elec are smart meters.The normal view on the illustrative statement is correct up until my monthly statement has been produced, so the billing on all 3 meters is in sync. Albeit as long as a manually supply my dumb meter reading.But my actual bill so far every month has only incorporated any 1 of the meters, or 2 of the meters or even once after a phone call to OVO to let them know, it had been amended to show a combination of 2 different meters.Every month I place a call to OVO to let them know my monthly statement is wrong again & eventually OVO produces a correct statement.I’m almost certain it’s the 3 meters &

I am trying to set up charge anytime , I get to the end where you confirm and I receive an error message stating they couldn’t connect my ev charger, my charger is online any ideas where I’m going wrong ?

i had an ovo engineer out wednesday to fit a new metre he told me to get a plumber out as he couldn't get the bolt off my plumber came today and has done it ready for the new metre but has broken the nipple in the metre so has told me i need an emergency ovo engineer out to check it and fit new metre but there's no one answering the phones how do i speak to someone to get them here for help please 

I’m an OAP and my gas smart meter stopped working last night. I had an engineer come out this morning and he said the meter needs to be replaced. I have been trying to call OVO but cannot get through to anyone because it is a Saturday. Can anyone give me a number where I can actually talk to someone to get my heat back on? Thank you.

I am finally getting some joy with OVO and have an appointment to replace my THTC complex meter with a smart meter.  Old meter is PAYG and new will also be PAYG as I have been told I cannot go to direct debit account until new meter is in.  I live in Perthshire and have old style night storage heaters (rented property so can't change them) and immersion for hot water.  When arranging my appointment I was told I had to choose a tariff pre install and, being utterly bamboozled and frustrated at the time, I chose economy 9.   I now believe economy 10 may suit me better but have been told this would need me to change the appointment date, I don't understand why that would be the case. I was also told that I could change tariff at any time after the install which made sense to me but puts further questions in my head as to why a different appointment date would be needed to install economy 10 rather than 9 as currently arranged? Can anyone help out with this? Is there any difference in the
