When I first started charging using the Kaluza web app I completed a section “Profile progress” under the “More” section. Since then this section has always been marked as complete(100%).However, I’ve just looked at it today and it shows as 66% complete. The section that is incomplete is “Tariff details” and when you go to it you see what you expect - “Charge anytime”, with a link to the account and a boost warning . No problem I thought I’ll fill it in again, but you can’t, there is no means to feed it back.Anyone else have this issue or is it just my machine?

Ok, we bought this small semi detached property 2 years ago and noticed our meter and trip switches were in a different location to next doors.There does not seem to be any large sealed fuse before the meter/switch board or if there is one, the board would have to be removed to access it, all whilst the unit  is live.This came to light last year when we applied to OVO for a Smart Meter to be installed, engineer came out, had a look and said it could not be done as no access to said sealed fuse and tha would need the transmission company to sort that out, OVO were to apply for this but we have heard nothing since 2023, can anyone advise what to do next, there is a sticker on the board from SSEB dated 1990 so a long time before we moved here.

Hello, I have been quoted by SSEN for an upgrade to my current supply. I am currently using a single phase to an 100 amp. They have offered a split phase supply 40kva to a 100amp. However I would obviously need a new meter. OVO don't seem to support a split phase supply? Could this be used on a 3 phase meter?  

Hi all 👋Yesterday I put £30 on my gas account via the app......the updated one.....and its not carried overI chatted online to an advisor around 6 hours ago, and inputted my 16 digit number to force it over. I waited 45 minutes.....actually its now about 6 hours.....and still nothing. As I can't 'talk' to anyone til tomorrow, and it's pretty low, any advice gratefully received. Thanks 😊

Im having problems charging my electronics at night and at w/e?has anybody else noticed when charging mobiles / tablets/ laptops with high speed and ordinary chargers and cables that work perfectly during the day, have in the last month become unable to charge anything. it is only during night and at weekends that the problem happens, my equipment works perfectly and recharges without problem during the day. Am i experiencing brown out where the voltage is reduced slightly so electric things still work but not efficiently and rechargable batteries really do NOT like different voltages to recharge.I found in the past, my camera does not work with any old rechargable battery it needs to be a specific voltage to work the circuit board.does anybody know why this is happening There are a lot of electric cars around here now, upgrade to power supplies is patchy. i know national grid is upgrading around the country is this a result of it?when we were out in the carrabean, they had brownouts i

How much are the standing charges being dropped by OVO on the fist of January next year.

My Solis inverter always shows limbytemp whenever it's around 30 degrees Celsius outside. The internal temp is around 84 degrees Celsius. It's not in the sun and is in a breezeway. The fan seems to be working. Is this normal. Any advice would be much appreciated 

I’ve suggested to a friend that he will get a more comfortable heat from his combi boiler with radiators by turning the flow temperature down and running the heating for longer. He’s done this and agrees. However, his recent boiler service engineer told him not to do this ! He said “Condensates can build up and cause corrosion to components (long-term). Units are designed for mid- to high-running.” Odd that they can be turned right down then…. 🤔 How true is this about the corrosion?

Hi,As we were out for vacation, We have turned off all the appliances and also shut down the main power switch.But, in OVO app, I could see a daily price variation for the usage of electricity. It keeps increasing daily. How this power consumption could be possible ?I would like to hear back on this query. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a bit of advice on how to proceed. I’m an existing dual fuel OVO customer. My garage is not connected to my house, I can’t share services between the two buildings.I have got National Grid coming to do a new feed install, they have given me the MPAN for me to get my supplier to put a meter on.I have followed the guides here about registering for a second account with the same email however it doesn’t allow me to do so, it just changes my password for my primary account. If I try and use the + feature in a gmail email I get the account creation email through but then can’t register because I don’t have an account number for this new account.I also can’t progress via the online system to book the install with the original or the new email as once I enter in my details it tells me I’m not eligible for a smart meter (because I already have a smart meter registered at that address - the existing home meter).I have spoken to the new connection team, the person I spoke to initiall

Hello,Had anyone experienced leaving OVO because of joining another energy company and not be able to get final bill for more than two months? I am still getting charged for gas and electricity they don’t supply, and when I was trying to get my final bill, they asked me to wait for 6 weeks to sort it out, nothing had been done, after contacting them after 7 weeks after I joined another energy supplier, they asked me to wait 32 working days more. I’ve never experienced anything like this, now paying to two energy suppliers at the same time, which is ridiculous in my opinion and shameful for OVO.Elena Wilson

Hello,While charging my EV,  I have noticed that OVO energy pauses supplying current to the wired wallbox pulsar max charger.This causes the charger to error and it turns red. Then when the current is resumed it turns green and car resumes charging.This was causing me great deal off stress not knowing where fault lied, as I first thought issue was with charger? But thats not the case due to pause and resume - current fluctuation its the chargers behaviour.OVO energy does this when the energy is not green. Today there is no green energy and my EV charger is failing to charge at all?Can you confirm my understanding and provide a resolution?Note : I have not signed up to green energy.Despite uninstalling charge anytime the pause resume persists.Many thanks    

Anyone having trouble with latest update to the App ?I updated to new version on iPad last night but today it won’t let me in and tells me I must load the latest update.  When I go to Apple Store it tells me I am already up to date and click OPEN, the App then tells me again that I must load the latest update.  Going round in circles.

How can I ensure my self-generated solar electricity that I consume (not export) is recorded separately from what is imported from the grid - I can understand paying my electricity supplier for what I import from the Gris, but surely not what my solar PV system self-generates - at present, I know everything (self generated electricity and import from the Grid) is included in one single reading on a smart meter (SMET2) register and my electricity supplier has been charging me for it - really frustrating as my electricity supplier has no incentive to get the problem resolved

My smart meter was fitted on 31/05/2024.  I never had a problem with my electricity before then.My off peak storage heaters were off for the summer.  My immersion heater was still in use. It is on Off Peak tariff & has a Horstman Timer (it comes on between (3 am & 6 am). It is still in use & never been a problem. The immersion heater night rate KW hours are showing on meter readings on my account.In early October, I put on the storage heating.  When the off peak for the storage heaters came on at about 12.10 B.S.T. - It tripped all the lights, appliances, TV etc. in the house.The consumer box could not be reset to turn Lights, appliances etc., until the storage heaters were switched off at the switches in each room.My electrician has tested my electric system fully over days & weeks and still there is a problem.  His belief is there is a problem with the meter either a switch  or wiring in the meter.I keep getting fobbed off by customer services & they have asked me

Final reading from old supplier did not match those provided for your first. The electricity is right, but the gas is incorrect. Final bill says I must inform new supplier of the difference. Can you please help?

So confused, what is most efficient way to run heating. At moment I do not have it on timer (as advised) I have it set at 19, then turn down to 15.5 when too warm in flat. I have my water on timer coming on an hour in morning & hour at night. I have 2 bedroom flat and live on my own. Being a pensioner I need it to run efficiently. Thanks 

To cut a long story short…..at the insistence of OVO we had a smart meter fitted at our holiday home in The Highlands of Scotland and were told that we had to opt for a tariff as the new meter would be pre programmed and we opted for the economy 10 tariff.Having given the system a few weeks to settle down I look at our account and see that it is still showing the Simpler Energy THTC tariff, so I email OVO to see what is going on.An hour later I get a phone call that says we are on the wrong tariff and that Economy 10 has been renamed and does not exist.We then get an email to say that we are being put on the same tariff “Simpler Energy THTC” as of tomorrow with much higher charges than quoted when we agreed to economy 10.I am left completely confused and feel totally let down by OVO. I envisage a long struggle ahead.Is Economy 10 still a tariff?Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so do you have any advice on how to continue? Any help would be much appreciated. 

Hi everyone,Getting desperate for help now.  Ovo have last month billed me almost £3000 for a 3 month period back in 2020.  I have a separate final bill received back in 2020 which shows as paid, in fact it actually shows a credit balance.They are now persistently threatening me and chasing for the £3000 which I clearly don’t owe them.I have phoned multiple times, I have emailed them as per their complaints procedure (on 18 July) I have also whatsap’d them.  I’ve had no response to my email; when I phone they say it will be sorted; in whats app they give up.How on earth do I get the complaints team or frankly anyone at Ovo to actually address this issue please?Thank you for any advice.. 

I have just noticed an unexplained 45% increase in my minimum direct debit payment caused by today's change to the calculation in the Direct Debit Calculator (now calculating through to end of March 2026, rather than the end of March 2025).The impact of that change, if it is intentional, is that a lot of people (like myself) who already have a significant credit balance and are on course for a very healthy credit balance come 31st March 2025 are potentially still going to have to increase our direct debit payments and build up even bigger, and wholly unnecessary, credit balances (and further increase our direct debits if we want our credit balances refunded at the end of winter).Are any of the OVO staff who monitor the forum able to share the full details of the changes and the logic behind them?Also flagging that the changes don't seem to be compliant with the T&Cs.

Just got a new Dacia Spring. We have a charger to be installed next week and it isn’t an Ovo one. At present, the Spring isn’t listed as a model that is compatible with Charge Anytime. Is there any indication of when (or if) it might be added to the list?

Hi there, I have a Daikin Altherma 3 H HT installed last year with a buffer tank which means the Daikin is mainly working on the living temperature based on the weather curve as it does not have a thermostat connected to it. There is an option to use “modulation mode” which gives the Daikin the possibility to fine tune its leaving water based on the indor temperature and the target temperature. To use this option though I would need to remove/bypass the water tank/circulator and get a thermostat connected to the Daikin.My naive view is that running modulation mode allows to take advantage of the inverter technology and have the Daikin automatically running all the time at a minimum power and get closer to the objective of having the heat pump just constantly compensating for the heat loss.Are there people on the community using the modulation mode on their Daikin?I would be happy to get some feedback on how it works.Many thanks and sorry for this cancid and naive question.Regards,Antoi
