​@Chris_OVO Is it this month when the £5 should be deducted from the energy bill for the survey? 

I'd like to be able to export my usage data, so I can have access to it even if I leave OVO (etc). I've never seen a function do do this. Does it exist?

Does anyone know how and when I'm likely to receive my £5 for this survey? 

I'm looking to purchasing a VW e-Golf and trying to find out if it's compatible with OVO anytime. I will be using the standard 3 pin charger. I have read conflicting info. On OVO checker it says not compatible but I'm sure someone on the forum said it was compatible. Also the terms and conditions say it is,https://www.ovoenergy.com/terms/anytime Please can someone clarify?

Good eveningI ran out of gas this morning and activated Emergency Credit (£15.00) via my card.  A few hours later I topped up my gas card with £5.00 and put it in the meter.  The normal “please wait……..” sign came up but then it went back to the first meter screen (I think it showed £15.00 emergency credit) and then went to the “please wait screen” again.  The next screen that came up was the amount of £0.01p being taken to pay back emergency credit.  It then asked me to press A which I did, however nothing happened (the meter screen was frozen).  After a while it went back to the “please wait..” screen and the £5.00 credit was then added.  However, instead of going back to the first meter screen, “please wait….” appeared again and a second £5.00 was added.  Therefore I currently have £10.00 credit on my gas meter when I only paid for £5.00.Can anybody tell me what has happened here?  Is the meter or gas card faulty?  The meter was installed back in 2007 and the gas card is from 2023. 

HiMy smart gas meter was changed on 7/11/24 as it hadn’t worked since moving into our new property in 2021. It has been set up for half hourly readings, looking at the usage it seems to be working, apart from the fact it is 2 days behind. Today is the 25th and 23rd/24th are not yet showing tomorrow the 23rd will show in the usage is this normal? The electricity usage is showing up to the 24th. Hope someone can explain this to me. Thanks. 

Looking to purchase a VW egolf 2019. completely new to this EV world.what do I need to consider? 3 pin until I can get a charger installed? Outside temp set up? The charger cable is too thick for letterbox option!any charger I need to get based on using ovo?cheaper tariffs for EV charger needed? any advice would be great for a complete newbie.thanks 

Hi, I’m new to the forum and was wondering why electricity usage would fluctuate through the day from 0.0 to 0.32 when no one is in the house and there are only 3 applliances plugged in, 2 x freezer 1 x fridge?  All other sockets were off.

In my current Billing period I have a £15 credit for Power Move Flex (5 Sunday to Sunday weeks I guess) plus an extra £5 - has anyone else got this or can explain why?Cheers 

I recently acquired a Mitsubishi heat pump ecodan, which is currently set to compensation curve mode, and I am using an Emos thermostat in my living room. I would like to switch the heat pump to Auto Adaptive mode. However, the desired temperature is being measured in my garage, where the heat pump is located. It seems possible to purchase a wireless Mitsubishi thermostat (PAR-WT50R-E) to address this. However, I would like to know if it is possible to use the existing Emos thermostat instead to save costs.Thank you in advance for your help!   

Anyone else on Superdeal noticed that the afternoon 2 hr boost has vanished? Could understand if this was the summer but in winter it is imperative for storage heaters.

Hello, I'm a student sharing a flat with one other person. Because of this, we split the energy bill 50/50. I usually ask for the money on the final day of the billing period every month, but I've found that it always gets boosted up a couple days later for some reason and I always end up shortchanged. So my question is - how long from the end of the monthly billing period does it take to generate a bill, and therefore start the next billing period? Ours ends on the 2nd every month, so I expected a bill today, but nothing so far.TIA! 

Changed OVO tariff from E10 to E7 on 22nd of November 2024.Account plan says E7 and in house monitor and meter shows E7 off-peak tariff from 23:30 hours to 07:30 hours (yes 8 hours, my neighbour has the same times).  The problem I have is my Dimplex Quantum storage heaters off-peak feed socket still gets power 3 times a day from 13:30 to 16:30 then 20:30 to 00:00 and 04:30 to 07:30 but are on peak rate. (E10 off peak times.)This means I only get E7 off peak times from 23:30 to 00:00 and 04:30 to 07:30 to feed my storage heaters. 3 and half hours a day off-peak energy.I informed Ovo and have an Advanced Resolutions member scratching her head and saying everything is ok OVO end, it must be my heaters.   I don't feed energy into my house at different times of the day that's what OVO do. I contacted the electrical company that supplied and fitted heaters and the said Ovo supply the energy at Ovo times.OVO arranged an engineer to come out and look at my meter but surprise surprise he never

Afternoon all We have just moved into a new house with a Combi boiler, previously house had a standard boiler & storage tank.Have noticed over the last week or so that the boiler ticks in a lot even when it is off(not manually activated, no timer and the thermostat is set lower than the ccurrent room temp)Having looked at some of the overnight events. I see we are using between 3.5/4kw per hour.does this seem normal? 

Am concerned about my account - one thing my app doesn't seem to have the same functions etc as the help area for it. I've been on the phone to OVO twice today via the support line (money gone out) and still don't know if I'm dealing with OVO or scammers. Any suggestions?

I’ve “inherited” an Ecodan/Zubodan ASHP, wet undefloor heating+rads downstairs, and rads only upstairs system and have many questions. I’ve been running the system with limited success over the last year and a half but with a newborn and a cold winter about to hit I want to make sure I’ve got everything efficient, cost effective, and working properly. I’ve read most of the threads here but still unclear on exactly what I should be doing for our situation and very conscious a small change could massively change the temperature in the house.Our current set up is:2x zones. Downstairs is 8 UFH loops + 2 rads, and upstairs is 3 rads + a towel rail. Both zones supplied by the same temp from ASHP. Every room downstairs has 1x UFH loop aside from the lounge and the hallway. Those two have 2x loops *and* a radiator with a TRV. Every room is thermostatically controlled. When temp is reached TRV & ufh circuit actuator shuts off for that room. Plugged my Renault Zoe into my home charge point at lunchtime yesterday and left the app to do it’s thing. My app settings are Reached by: 09:00, Charge level: 100%.There were multiple charging ‘sessions’ but when the charge finished and I unplugged at 09:15 this morning both the car and the app reported the car’s battery level at only 96%.I’m sure I’ve used the app to charge to 100% previously. What’s going on and is this likely to happen again?

I got the email to switch over to a smart meter last week,just as I was away ,so only digesting it now! I’m reasonably okay with having the old meter taken out,but a few concerns/questions - for those that have had the switch, mainly how these things work compared to the old RTS meters that are being phased out and the tariffs.. So what are the differences between the two meters?I’ve been on a PAYG tariff and understand that’s going to be the same with the switch to a smart meter, but for those of you that have,how much more expensive have you found it? And lastly,presuming the old meter key system for the RTS meter means I won’t be using that key to top up when the smart meter is installed?Cheers! 

I have a Ohme charger and a 3 pin that came with the PHEV. I deleted the app as requested, but realise that when charging both, the 3 pin the PHEV won't get the charge anytime as they asked me to remove the connection.Is this the correct thing to have done or should I reinstall the app etc.

I always send my meter readings on the due date and then check my account to see whether they’ve been activated. I submitted readings on July 8. They still have not updated my account by today, July 11. Usually the updates happen within the hour. Anybody else not able to see how much they’ve spent in the past month?

I am beginning to question the benefits of power move ...my last one I earned 4p credit  off towards next bill ...really ....take today's power move between 8&9am.a time. a lot of people waking up...putting heating on,boiling the kettle...what does the company want us to do ...put our lives on hold for an hour cold in our homes...it's seems to me it's some sort of power trip by someone sitting in there ivory tower.....we're not N Korea it's the UK

The below came through today.OVO reckon that 14kwh is enough to power 41,569 houses for a year. Please show me your workings on this? Or admit you have people who are not competent working on this project…. 😔 

I keep getting invitations to get a smart meter and I really don’t want one is there a way to stop these invitations ? How do I make it clear to OVO that I dont want a smart meter ?

A friend of mine, an ovo customer, has a debt of £1,400 approx. His DD is now about £140 a month. I'm thinking about helping him.My question is, if we try and pay off at least a sizeable amount for now  - for example half - Will this enable him to reduce his monthly DD?

Is it normal after submitting a meter reading on the 22/7/23 to be asked for another meter reading via the app and for it to be done ASAP?New to Ovo after moving over from SSE
