I'd like to see and analyse the information my smartmeter generates.For example I'd like to see a trend graph showing use and cost by day over a number of days. I'd also like to analyse my use of economy 7 off peak units. 

Good morning   We currently have a 3 phase supply with a Landys Gyr meter    We added solar a couple of months ago but have realised the meter isn’t billing us correctly for our net usage   Instead it bills us for import on any phase, even if we’re exporting on another phase.   weve been told by Ofgem tte meter needs to be compatible with “Vector sum metering” which our current model is not.    Our current supplier (Bulb)  cannot supply the correct meter so have advised us to move.    Before we change we’re looking for a supplier that will supply the correct meter. We’re aware smart meters aren’t yet available and we don’t want one anyway. But there are plenty of normal meters which perform this funxtionality   Can you let me know if Ovo can fit the correct meter if we move to you?   Thanns    

Hi, I had the new SMETS3 meter and In-Home Display (IHD7) installed and just been told by OVO that you can only see the night rate and usage on either of the devices if you look at them when the rate changes which is midnight or 1am depending on where you live.That isnt a useful feature if you want to track previous days/weeks usage during waking hours to improve usage efficiency!!Does anyone know if there's a way around this please.Cheers. Please help, my smart meter doesn't show any readings. It doesn't matter what button I press or how many times I press it, or what sequence, it doesn't work. I have followed the advice on here from Jess (we have the same meter) but mine shows no numbers at all. It just says meter initialised. Apparently Ovo hasn't had a reading since last October and require one.Holly

I have noticed since the price change that my smart meter has not updated to show the new tariff rates and standing charges.  Thought I was doing well yesterday until I checked the app to see it was actually double the price that my smart meter was showing me. Anyone know how to correct this so my smart meter is actually useful? 

Can I pair a Geo Tri 11 moniter on an Aclara SGM 1312 electric meter and Aclara Uniflo G4SZV gas meter ?I understand That the electric meter is a Smert1 model with a Aclara SGC1311 Smart Communications Hub installed. Currently paired to Chameleon    IHD2-TS/IT 2017 Main reason i wanted to upgrade the monitor is so that I can wifi it over to an app on my phone and I know the TRi 11 monitor works on the app...Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

I always used to pay my previous supplier with cash via a payment slip at the bottom of the bill at their local bank.I wish to continue this method of payment with OVO my new supplier.My current OVO bill to me does not advise or enable me to do this.Please let me know how I can pay my OVO bill with cash at their or any bank please.Regards, 

Hi,I signed to Loop Energy earlier this week to better see my usage and simulate solar/battery on my house.  It synced around 30 days of data from January/December and then nothing since.  I signed up today to Hugo which works in a similar way and it synced the same data.  This leads me to thing there is a problem with how my smart meter is communicating however all of my data is correct and up to date in the OVO app. I’d welcome any suggestions.  Thanks.  

I have a smets1 Pipit 500 in house display unit which does not appear to show meter readingsDoes it not have this facility? Later models appear to be able to show the meter readings.

We want our gas meter removed.  Our supplier is bulb, they want to charge 430 pound for that. I know some firm remove for free or a charge around 100 pound . According to bulb it's a special job.  To me it's just a smart meter fitted around two years ago. Can that be right? They have been difficult being difficult with the whole situation from the start. 

3 weeks of new Solar Panels.  Great!.  Meter reading has gone backwards.  My solar app tells me what has been drawn from the grid.  How to fix the meter, and ensure more accurate billing?

Well not impressed at all with the supposedly super compatible v3+ starter kit.Got to the bit of the instructions for setting up the receiver which requires it to obviously to be wired to something on the boiler/ control centre (in my case a Vaillant ecotec 618 with VR 65 control centre which currently uses Vaillant ebus through a VRT392f programmer and receiver).Every choice of component I make related to my boiler installation in the extensive list of kit in the Tado database says “not compatible”.I have found some Tado information on enabling ebus control, but that’s not a lot of use when it doesn’t tell you how to wire things up in the first place! Very confused with the difference between the wireless receiver supplied in the V3+ starter kit and other references I have found to a tado extension kit!it’s ridiculous that you can’t find this compatibility/ installation information out before purchasing, and how come OVO are promoting this apparent minefield?Perhaps it’s to commit you

Hi there. I have built a cover for my ASHP and wonder how many others have done the same. I am considering a redesign after some feedback from engineers who seen this on Facebook. Like making the spacing gaps bigger and possibly removing the hidden side panel.

I am so disappointed and saddened by ovo, in a nutshell I have just come out of a controlling marriage . I have took over the bills in Aug 2020 when I realised the gas and electric hadn't been paid for 6 years . I immediately set up a direct debit explained my situation . They now want to Increase my direct debit to 859 a month good luck with that when I only earn 1200 a month. I have sent endless letters and emails . Everytime I am told to ring collections but I can't get them to answer.  I don't know where else to turn so I have complained to the energy Ombudsman .  They allowed this debt to Increase over 6 years so the least they can do is let me pay back at a comfortable rate. They ignore my letters this is really worrying me now

My current fixed rate plan ends in March, does this mean I automatically will be on the price cap rate?

had a smart meter installed recently on economy 7 tarrif with an in house display (camelion). the gas meter reading appears on the display but the electricity meter readings appear as 1 reading which seems to be the day and night rate added together. Have I got the unit set up wrong ?

How long does it take for ovo to respond to emails on average?

I’m told that DCC doesn’t retain any historic smart meter data readings. However, I am informed that the smar meter itself does retain historic data but does anyone know how far back data is retained?I was also sent this:-There is also a third party platform called Energy IP and as long as the meter is communicating, they will hold all the historic data….Anyone know anything about them?Reason for asking…. trying to get a grip on data loss/errors when an energy company goes bust and erroneous data gets picked up and acted upon by the new supplier, often with disasterous results!

Installation has just (Friday 13/11/20) been completed on my roof in Stockport of 28 solar panels and a PV Grid Tie single phase inverter charging 4 x 3.5kWh Li-ion batteries via a 3kW AC Coupled inverter. The included phone app shows that I am now drawing very little grid power and the batteries are fully charging even on fairly dull days, and are still fairly “full’ next morning. However, my daily meter readings are little changed from pre-solar times which means that my electricity bills will not decrease. I am not particularly concerned with selling power back to the grid as I understand that this is poorly rewarded at this time, but I am worried that the electricity which the sun is now freely providing directly for my consumption will still be charged for as if it were coming from the grid. I was expecting my meter to more or less stand still, or even “run backwards” but that isn’t happening. Is there a way to fix this please?

I have had such a bad time about this, I got my new deals on 2nd February clicked members special 4th February, my currentplan finishes on 27th March 2022 so I took out members special to start on 28th March , thought I would lock that deal down but thought I could jump to another deal as I had such a long time before my current deal ends.they say cooling off period started on the day I clicked 4th February.is this right .so my I would have to pay the exit fees if I wanted to jump to another deal.

Property has been empty for some time, and I want to get my electricity supply reconnected. How do I get this done? I’ve already called three different numbers and im pushed from pillar to post. 

Hi, This is probably obvious, but I have been asked to submit my dual readings but now have smart meters and can't find the relavent values to send. I thought having a smart meter fitted meant that the readings would send automatically. Please help! Thanks very much Nick

In Feb 2020 I had a smart meter fitted by an OVO engineer that was not functional. After a lot of pleading, complaining and involvement of the Ombudsman 12 months later another OVO engineer visited and changed my Smart Meter. The 2nd Smart meter was also not functional but I was given a reason why - no DCC signal. The engineer left and said it was not OVO’s issue. I contacted DCC and they told me  - “coverage checker shows that there is high coverage at your property. If OVO have installed a Smart Meter at your property that is unable to acquire a signal they should have raised an incident with DCC so it can be investigated.” I appear to keep being passed between OVO and DCC, passing the issue between themselves. My main gripe is that I have 27kWh of storage batteries at my property with an electric vehicle which allows me to take advantage of the TOU tariff offered by Octopus, but only if I have a functional Smart meter. My current tariff is 28p/kWh but a Smart meter will reduce this
