With my old supplier used to get access to presale tickets at events in the hydro in glasgow - do we not get this perk anymore? Or if we do where do i enquire? Any feedback would be appreciated

I moved houses back in late Jan 2022 and switched to OVO on 13 Feb. Previously, the flat was with EDF. OVO installed a smart meter for electricity on 4 March. There is no note of the old meter number (that meter had EDF written on it), or its readings anywhere on the OVO’s first bill - it shows only a standing charge for 13 Feb - 12 March.I just discovered I kept getting online bills on my EDF account that I inherited when moving into the property, clocking over £120 from Feb to May (I did pay them once back in Feb and thought that was the end of the transition, but clearly it wasn’t the case).  Of course, it was my bad for not catching this much earlier, but I’ve had a lot going on with our disabled daughter and another large house move.  I got in touch with EDF and they have different MPAN to the flat compared to the one on the OVO bill (it’s different by 1 digit only, probably someone somewhere made a typo). EDF insisted that OVO got a wrong MPAN and said that my OVO account needs t

My Smartmeter3 constantly says 50p, all day and night, never changes, how can I fix it? 

Hi, problem with Creda storage heater, TSR18 AW 79351S. Not heating.Tried reset, would not work. Wired link via extension lead, held reset down with screwdriver, element 1 started to heat, released and cut power. Bought and installed new reset switch, bought and fitted new mains switch plate as terminal block inside was broken! new one fused and has neon. I tested all circuits for continuity and resistance with switch on and off, all working, mcb's at source not tripped, other heater on same box working fine. Reassembled heater, set switch to "on" and crossed fingers......all to no avail, still cold in the morning. Retested everything including switch terminal screws, all OK.ANY IDEAS WHERE TO GO NEXT PLEASE?

Hi - Currently have a Enyaq which works well on anytime. I’m looking to change to Peugeot e-3008 or e-5008 next year. Does anyone know if Peugeot are going to be added to charge anytime list of compatible cars? (My charger is non compatible). Thanks

We are changing our car and therefore will be removing our Ovo V2G charger. Who do we contact at Ova (I’ve not had a response from the smarthome email address) and do we have to give notice before removing? Do you know do you know if the original Ovo installer submitted a G99 application to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) prior to installation?

Switched to an E7 Smart meter in mid-August (electric only, no gas), readings started being recorded almost immediately, no upto 6 week wait for me I thought however billing ignored them!I assumed this was  because final readings from the previous meter had not been posted for some reason.Eventually after a few contacts with Customer Support and raising a complaint, I got this fixed in mid-October (8+ weeks after install) in under 2 hours when the right person got on the case, so I was happy.Relaxed too soon as within a few days my meter went dark - all the correct lights were on, blinking at the correct rate and the home monitor was working fine but readings were not reaching the OVO billing systems.Found the link on the Forum to the OVO web page to report this issue, filled in the details and got a response that I would be contacted in upto 45 days !Meanwhile started giving manual readings so as not to get any crazy estimates on usage.Did some more digging on the forum and found the

My Sept-Dec 2023 usage was close to £1500 for a well insulated 3-bed detached all electric bungalow on the Moray Coast kept at between 18-20C by Dimplex Quantum storage and Monteray panel heaters all set to 'Home All Day' on their automatic timers.  So much for the OFGEM National Average consumption figures, am I alone in struggling to afford paying for the Green Revolution? 

Can I change my billing period to be from 1st of each calendar month?

We are getting an EV charger via Motability and have been advised by OHME that we need an isolation switch fitted. Having looked at similar post on this forum regarding the charges for this, does anyone know if this charge would be covered by Motability or is there a different route to getting this installed due to being through Motability.

Does anyone know if a BMW iX1 M Sport 30 is compatible with Charging Anytime? The website says iX1 30 is compatible so to me sounds like it is, but when I called up OVO to check they could not give me any clarification, because as a model, there is no iX1 30, only variants like xLine 30 or Sport 30 or M Sport 30. The charger I am getting is not compatible so I need to be sure my car will be.

I had a SMETS2 meter installed a couple of years ago. It worked fine for well over a year and then suddenly stopped working at the start of the year. Trying to arrange a replacement has been an absolute nightmare with failed appointments, etc but an engineer finally turned up today. I’m in a block of six flats with a meter cupboard for all the different properties in the entrance lobby. Adjacent to that is a cupboard, presumably where the mains supply enters the building and also contains all the mains fuses for each property. Unfortunately the fuses aren’t labelled and so he was unable to disconnect my supply to install the replacement meter. I fully understand why he can’t just turn the supply off to every property. He did advise that there was a piece of kit which can establish which incoming supply / fuse leads to which meter but that he didn’t carry one with him. He advised me that it was my responsibility to establish which fuse belongs to my property so that someone can come bac

We bought a semi detached property from our neighbour and because he's lied about other things we have concerns we're paying for his electricity. Initially we moved in ahead of the completion and the first two months the bill was as expected but once the sale completed we saw a huge rise in our bill. There's a smart meter and we're told by ovo its working though it hasn't been checked in 17 months. Some of the sockets on the connecting wall to this neighbour do not work. Is there a specialist kind of electrician who could detect if our neighbour is somehow using our electricity? It's a complicated old house where certain services like water are private and connected to next door for which we're reliant as he owns the source and the means to pump it. 

Apparently, you have to be invited to join PMP but then have to opt in to each event.  Not sure why Ovo need three separate schemes (inc. Shift and Save) with three separate sign ups, forum groups etc.. Can't you make life a bit simpler for us please with just one sign up, auto-enrol for each event with the option to opt out and just one forum group! 

Live in Aberdeenshire and can not get smart meter to connect tried several times. If I put a CTi whip multiband antenna in would this work and where best to install in attic or on roof. I get no help from OVO when phone to ask this as you just get to speak to customer service and if it’s not on their script …..

I have THTC two meters one for normal and one for THTC . All the timing functions of the THTC meter are operating correctly but the meter is not clocking up the usage . Contacted OVO customer services a few times basically Smart meter THTC not available till first Quarter 2024 and SMS highland Div unable to carry out repairs or replace the meter at present. You views would be appreciated thanks. 

My first bill from OVO.Really simple :  Zero starting balance, + Some electricity, - One paper free discount, + VAT.  These numbers don’t add up.Statement shows two ‘paper discounts’ totalling £9.52, but the calculation only uses one.The ‘Total Charges’ don’t match the ‘New Balance’, even though the starting balance was zero.I know the errors are not significant, just a few pence, but they are wrong !.It is possible that a human working with a calculator could make a simple error, but I don’t think OVO have rooms full of girls with calculators doing our bills.It’s probably some kind of computer error, which is worrying. This time it made a 20p error, next time it might be a £20 error. I’ve phoned, and OVO are ‘looking into it’.[ EDIT : I was so distracted by the bad calculation that I didn’t notice the Paper Comms items are charges, not discounts. I’ve never had paper comms from OVO. Time for another phone call. ]

Hi so I finally got a smart meter installed this morning, but the info isn't coming through on my display? The engineer said it takes about 10 minutes for it to update but its been a few hours now, my display is in my hallway right by my front door so I've left the door open for a bit to try and get signal but with no luck, I've left multiple doors open for a few minutes to see if anything happens but nothing is coming throughI've tried contacting ovo and using the help bot but I'm not getting anywhere and according to my account on the app I haven't got a smart meter installed so I'm not sure how long that takes to update either

We currently have no electricity supply, the national grid says it's not a power cut as our meter is still on, and we need to contact ovo however there shut, checked fuse box and still nothing, any help please 

My car has not charged at home since overnight last 3 days, anytime charge has worked fine for months and I just charge overnight. I have not done anything other than plug it in as normal the previous evening, expecting it to be charged by 07.30 next morning and it’s not charged.  It shows on main dashboard on Ovo charge anytime phone app ‘car unplugged, plug in at home to smart charge’ but it is plugged in, It also does not allow me to charge immediately and when i try it just says pause. many one have similar issues?  Thanks in advance .   

Hey! New member here 👋 - I hope everyone is okay! This isn’t my first Community rodeo 😆  I’ve just moved into a new property supplied by OVO (never had them as my supplier before!) so I’ve just got a few questions…  Have I missed the WHD cut off? Just wondering if I’ll be eligible at my new property. I know that it’s done automatically this year, but wondered if I need to submit something as I’m joining the party late.  We have SMETS1 meters at the property - my account hasn’t been set up properly in your guy’s side yet so I’m not too sure if it’s functioning. But we don’t have an IHD - just wondering if we would be able to get one? / if we will have the meters upgraded to SMETS2.  Do I have the option to pay via a variable DD rather than fixed? We’ve just signed up to the loyalty fix and it’s saying £153 a month!!!!!! And we by no means can afford that! So I think variable DD with as little usage as possible will be best for now.Any-whooo folks, it’s late now! Hopefully someone repl

Recent installation of ecodan system and struggling to set up timed temperature changes for heating.Schedule for heating has been set at 16 overnight, 18 from 5.30 am and down to 16 again at 8pm.Schedule timer set as on for the whole 24 hours.Tried this two mornings so far and on neither morning has heating turned up to 18 at 5.30 am. I think I've tried both the timer symbol from f4 heating house symbol and the on symbol.  I would be very grateful if someone could tell me exactly what symbols should be showing on the screen for the heating button at bedtime, so I can wake up to heat. This morning our electricity supply was cut off. We are on PAYG. Checking into the account , both on website and app, we seen that we still have £10 credit. Checking the meter it shows that we need emergency credit. We toped up with £50, which is showing in the app but not in the meter which is still running on emergency credit. We talk here on chat with someone, we got cut off, we called and after almost 1 hour of talks without nobody knowing what is happening or to fix the problem we cut of as well. We didn't get any email confirmation for the last 3 payments , a total of £150. We simply had enough.
