My charge anytime app has stopped updating direct to the car

My charge anytime app has stopped updating direct to the car.Still not working after turning the phone off and on a few times.What shall I do next?

Charge Anytime + Indra Smart Pro Charger + Tesla - how do I connect Anytime with my smart charger after I chose the direct to vehicle option in error?

Hi,I’ve had the Indra Smart Pro Charger hooked up to my Tesla for more than a week now and I’m on the Charge Anytime tariff.It’s been working well but I think I’ve made a mistake because I’ve installed the Charge Anytime App and configured it to talk to the Tesla.Reading around this forum apparently that isn’t necessary because OVO will control the Indra Smart charger directly without the need of the Charge Anytime App.Could someone please tell me how to roll back from this and remove my credentials etc from the Charge Anytime App?  Is the “Delete Account” option what I need to do? Do I then set the charging schedule in the Indra App and that’s all?Thanks for your help!

Charge Anytime - how do I activate it on my OVO online account?

I have recently switched to OVO. I understand that I need to activate Charge Anytime using my online account.  The problem is I don’t seem to have this option. I have been to the ‘offers and upgrades’ page where it tells me about Charge Anytime, but I don’t seem to have any way to actually add it to my account.  Does anyone know what I need to do?  Many thanks

Is the Ohme Epod compatible with OVO's Charge Anytime add on for EV charging?

New untethered Smart Ohme Epod released but not showing on oVo choice of smart chargers. Surely this is an oversight and it will be compatible as it looks like it should be. Any ideas ?

Why can I get 7p per kWh to charge my EV with Charge Anytime add on, but nothing similar for my home energy battery?

Hi I know I am not the brightest tool in the box!Ovo offer battery electric cars a home charging standard rate of £0.07p a unit. (no standing charge).I have a set of home Batteries charged by off peak electric at 13.59p a unit, and topped up during the day by 4kw solar panel's.The un used power held in the car batteries can be fed back into the house when needed.so the car battery is doing the same as my house batteries at a far lower rate (10p) than the off peat rate! the only difference is the car batteries are on wheels! can any one explain WHY? there should be so much price differance...I can understand if it was the other way round to cover charging point installation cost.

Joining Charge Anytime before charger is installed?

I've downloaded the charge anytime app. I'm awaiting my charger to be installed can I still join for charge anytime while I'm waiting? Or do I have to wait for the charger to be installed? I understand the app is mainly for the D2V side of things.  Note I'm already with OVO now for my normal energy.

What's the best energy supplier for Kia eNiro and ZAPPI wall smart charger for an EV tariff?

Can anyone please tell me if there is an electricity supplier out there who can accept my Kia eNiro and ZAPPI wall charger for an EV tariff?  As soon as I find one I will be leaving (environmentally conscious) OVO.

When using charge anytime. Which easier or more consistent? Connect to the car or connecting to the charger?

Charge Anytime for two Tesla's in one household - will they both get the 10p per kWh rate?

If me and my partner both have teslas in the household. Would the charge anytime rate apply to both cars?

Can I charge my visitors EV cars using my OVO Charge Anytime?

Hi all,I’ve just moved to OVO, and added Charge Anytime so I can charge my new EV at a sensible price 😁I’ve had an Indra Smart Pro charger installed, specifically because it’s on the ‘approved’ list. When I set up Charge Anytime I initially picked my EV - a Cupra - because the Indra hadn’t been installed at that point. But once installed, I went back through the process of setting up Charge Anytime and picked the Indra instead.My first Smart Charge - last night - went well. I set a time for the car to be charged in the Indra App, and it duly did the business 😁. The Indra seems to ‘know’ about Charge Anytime, and also about the Cupra, so everything seems to be joined up. Charge Anytime seems to ‘know’ about the Cupra too, but does not mention the Indra.So finally to my question. What happens when I have a visitor?  Can just I plug in their EV instead, and assume the Indra Charger will smart charge it at Charge Anytime rates?

If I choose a fixed plan can I still get Charge Anytime with the cheaper 10p per kilowatt EV charging?

I'm looking to go onto a fixed plan but was wondering will i still get the cheaper 10p per kilowatt through the charge anytime app when charging the car?

Charge Anytime- Possible with VW id5?

I’m new to the ev market. I have a VW id5, I have tried speaking to customer services with very little success. Can anyone tell me what is the problem with adding the ‘Charge Anytime’ to my home tariff with this vehicle.??

Charging via anytime - do I just need to plug the EV in when I'm done with it for the day and it will do the rest?

I have noted from others that instructions are non existent especially for 80 years olds.I yesterday returned from a holiday to find my Kaluza app had disappeared from my iPad.It when I eventually found it refused to accept my password.I then tried to join the charge anytime and eventually today using the old password as a reset password joined up, I think. What I need to know is, when I have finished with the car each day, do I just plug it in to the charger (Indra) and it does it with me doing no more? I have filled in the times in the Kaluza page and it looks just like the Indra page.Is there anything else I have to do?

Switching to OVO for Charge Anytime - how long till I can add this to my online account?

I have made the switch to OVO and according to the website it says ovo has been supplying me since the 5th April, meter reading all provided so I have done everything my end. As we have EV cars I need to add charge anytime asap as they need charging but because the account hasn’t been setup I’m struggling.how long does it take before I can add charge anytime, this while process does not seem efficient.

Will Charge Anytime electric vehicle (EV) add on work with Granny Chargers?

We have recently bought a VW-ID3 and are using a ‘Granny’ charger during Economy 7 night period. Would Charge Anytime work with this type of charger? Also - does anyone know when OVO will include VW’s in its list of eligible vehicles?

Are there any settings needed for Ohme home pro app and smart charger for Charge Anytime?

Hi, just moved to Ovo and signed up for charge anytime.  Are there any particular settings I need to do in my ohme home pro app to make sure it works? Car is a polestar 2, so I have to use the charger for interaction with the Anytime Plan. Thanks in advance.

Tesla charging- Is it cheaper after 11pm?

So I just signed up to this charge anytime for my Tesla but see it’s cheaper after 11pm ????? And starts then ?I know I can plug in any other time but it’s my standard tariff , is this correct? from 11pm

How do I set up an electric vehicle (EV) charger to my garage if it's all a communal supply to the flats garages?

Live in a block of flats with communal supply of electricity to garages. I was told by the property manager that it is impossible to separate the usage of electricity to individual garages. Am planning on getting an EV and wanted to have an EV charger installed where I park, but it seems installation is not possible due to communal use of electricity. Is there a workaround to have a separate meter for my bit of the garage?Thanking you in advance.

Charge Anytime direct to vehicle not compatible with Polestar electric vehicles?

Hi there,I am an OVO customer and got very excited when Charge Anytime was launched.However, I’ve just discovered my Polestar 2 isn’t compatible. Quite staggering.How is this possible when the Volvo XC40 and XC60 are?Am I missing something?Thanks.

Why are there charging issues using my Porsche app, Charge Anytime app and my Indra smart charger?

Good evening just been reading this forum as I thought I was going mad with my Porsche App , Kaluza web app and charge anytime app ….  I’ve had Indra and charged EV out multiple times to my home and there are some serious issues which should be addressed Firstly the charge anytime app is the dominant app if you have an Indra smart pro charger and are using the OVO anytime tariff.  the charge anytime app adds erroneous profiles and timers to the Porsche app ,a profile called ENODE and a timer which is usually a day to two ahead . The charged EV and Indra people I’ve had out watched this happen in real time.  The only solution for us was to ONLY use the charge anytime app to schedule the car charging setting it at 50% min and 85% - 100% max (annoying that the app only allows one schedule and not a 7 day version this really really would be helpful)  When plugging the car in you may still get a red charger error but as long as your Indra is showing 4 solid white lights and your timer is sc

Charge Anytime - Is there a timescale/roadmap for when other EVs will be supported?

Hi all - long time listener first time caller, This is a Charge Anytime question aimed at any folks from Ovo who frequent the forums. I have a Polestar 2, and a Pod Point Solo 3 charger.Neither of these are currently supported with the new Charge Anytime, so I was wondering if there is an anticipated timeline for additional EVs to be added to the supported car list, or is it a case of Ovo rolling out new EV support whenever it can become available? I appreciate a lot of this is out of Ovo’s hands & they are reliant on what the EV can actually do, but if there is an anticipated timeline for other EVs (if this is even possible) then it would be really helpful. Many thanks!

Problems with Charge Anytime app... 'Urgent Charge' functionality

I have the Charge Anytime app all set up and working with my Tesla.Everything is fine, if I just leave it to do it’s thing, but I have a problem when using the ‘Urgent Charge’ function. Basically it will just stop charging randomly.I hit the Urgent Charge button in the app and after waiting a bit the car sometimes starts charging without doing anything, and sometimes I have to go to the car app and hit the ‘Start Charge’ button. Either way it will stop charging sometimes after a few minutes, and I’ll have to do it all again. This means that any time I need to charge I basically have to keep checking the car app, which is useless.Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?I did wonder if it was anything to do with my partner also having the app. When I set it up on their phone I used their Tesla account credentials (for access to the car), so I wondered if the two might be competing in some way? Both apps will show the urgent charge status when it’s switched on with either of them.

Home chargers. What's the process to get one?

So when it comes to home EV chargers what’s the process to get one?Do you rent them, buy them or loaned them?How much do they cost?Are there government grants available for home owners?can you get finance on them?Can you take it with you if you move home?Will the one you buy today be compatible with your next EV?If you switch suppliers will your home charger be compatible with your new energy supplier?
