Since using Charge Anytime App considerably more battery drain on the car when not in use

Sure thing.

Firstly, the Tesla matter. I’m afraid that’s a known Tesla issue. Just about any Web activity at all causes a Tesla to remain awake rather than going to sleep, thus causing additional battery drain. There’s not much OVO can do iirc as this stuff is controlled by Tesla. Even if the frequency got reduced, the fact that there’s regular heartbeats by anything would prevent the Tesla from sleeping anyway, so I don’t think it’d help much. Same story if you use features like Sentry Mode - these features prevent the Tesla from going into deep sleep states.

You may want to consider a dedicated smart charger that works with Charge Anytime to avoid this issue, as that would allow the Tesla to properly sleep. Charge Anytime isn’t designed for use with granny chargers, so if you start charging more at home, you may want to install a proper EV Charger anyway.

For the second EV, simply set it up just like you did the Tesla. :)

Thanks very much for your reply. I've taken all other steps to minimise battery drain e.g. switching off sentry when not at home, just noticed a significant increase in drain since using charge anytime. I appreciate your suggestion about a dedicated home charger to get around this issue. 

In terms of adding the second car, I can't see an option to add a second car in the anytime app. Can you point me in the right direction?  Ideally want to be able to charge bother cars at the same time using 3 pin plugs at the 10p/kwh. Potentially a dedicated home ev charger may resolve this issue too.

We are certainly looking at installing an EV charger in the future, was just hoping we could put this off for a bit.
