I have a situation which has not been resolved despite several phone calls and emails so was wondering if anyone is able to work out what is going on. I moved home in June 2024 and I was with Ovo at my previous property. This is what has happened so far:1) Ovo became the electricity supplier to my new home on 20/06/24 and asked me to submit an opening meter reading.2) I emailed the same day to explain this was not possible as there was only 1 section for 1 meter reading on Ovo's website. I have economy 7 which is only for the heater and there are 2 reading on my meter which is a Liberty 110. The opening readings were:R01: 5468.8R02: 1382.2.(shown in photos below)3) Ovo's website explains how to read my meter and it says R02 is the day reading.4) R02 has not changed and still reads 1382.2.5) R01 is changing daily so that is the day and night reading minus the heater (why does the website say R01 is the night reading?)6) Th

Hi,I’m considering to start using OVO for public (AC) charging of my electric car.But: the public charging station closest to my house, so preferred station to use, is not showing on the map in the OVO app. No idea why, two other stations a little further away from the same operator (TotalEnergies / Greenflux) are shown. It’s definitely not a new station. And it works. It is visible in pretty much every other charging app I have.How can I get OVO to add this specific charging station to their map/database?Rough location: The Netherlands, Utrecht, De Meern.Thanks,Matthijs

When do standing charges get added onto the IHD? I've noticed that when the unit prices went down this month the cost showing when I get up in the morning has actually gone up, suggesting it might be due to standing charges. However I had previously assumed it was late at night, because when I check the previous days cost against the cost showing when I went to bed, that has also jumped up. So I'm puzzled.

Hi, trying to charge my Hyundai Ionic 5 for the first time, appreciate it's only beta at present.  I've plugged in but ca app says unplugged and no urgent charge option. Any ideas please?

I am impressed by the level of knowledge held by OVO Energy forum members. I was hoping to get advice about the lack of data communicated to the DCC.  I moved to an EV tariff with Octopus Energy on 24 November 2022, but they have not been able to receive information from the Landis+Gyr E470 smart meter/hub since that date.  The SMETS 2 meter was installed by EDF at the end of October 2022 and I moved to Octopus Energy within a few days (fixed tariff with EDF was ending at the end of November 2022).  For the first few weeks of November, when I was on a standard tariff with Octopus, I believe that electricity and gas data was being received via the DCC.  After contacting Octopus on a number of occasions, I was offered a “power-cycle” visit by an engineer.  This was completed on 6 February and within two days, apps such as Hugo, Loop and Bright were able to display electricity/gas data.  Surprisingly, Octopus could still not obtain information from the DCC.  This situation changed afte

Hi, I had a smart meter system installed just over a week ago. A few days later it was apparent that the gas meter was not connecting via the HAN (no readings on IHD, pressing 0 on the meter displays "Commission?"). I called OVO and was told a Lowri-Beck engineer would be in touch. I called again the other day and was told this could take up to ten working days as I was on an "ad hoc" list. What does this actually mean? The CSA I spoke to wasn't very clear. I'm very annoyed by this. I took time off work to have the meters fitted and now I'm having to wait for an engineer to call me at a random time to arrange an appointment to come and fix a pairing issue. Everything in your organisation assumes everything will go right first time. If something goes wrong the customer is basically ignored and palmed off with "don't call us, some contractor will call you....". Your advisor helpfully told me I could still submit gas readings by reading the meter. Great! Just like I never bothered

As it's not law to have a smart meter,can anyone tell us how to get them removed for a traditional meter,any ideas Tim ?

I am an existing OVO customer with smart meters and want to add the Charge anytime option to my account. I have just purchased an Ohme epod. When I follow a link I get the message “The Charge Anytime bolt on is currently unavailable” What is wrong?

Having informed my current utility provider of my impending move, they have advised me that I am unable to do this as the take-over request has been blocked by OVO at the new house. What are the possible ramifications? If the ‘soon-to-be-ex-owner’ hasn’t paid the gas bill and has hefty arrears, can OVO refuse to provide a supply to me as the soon-to-be-new-owner?Any knowledge or advice gratefully received.

Hello Like most people in this forum, I've recently started having issues with my Ford MachE using charge anytime. I seen on another thread we're hopeful to have an update today, can anyone confirm if we've a resolution.Ill simply have no other option but to leave and join one of the company's offering a discounted EV

i am about to take delivery of my first ev, had my charger recently installed and activated charge anytime on my accounti was just wondering if i have it plugged in and on a schedule to charge, what if i need to use my car before the scheduled charge has finished, do i just unplug or do i need to cancel through the app first? 

Please help from the hive mind!We had our Indra Smart Pro replaced under warranty last week - we also have solar panels and used the solar matching option successfully for 3 years - however we now no longer seem to be able to switch to non boost mode? Previously toggling between Boost and Eco allowed the 1.5kw cheaper rate but it toggles between “solar” at 7.4kw and Boost at 7.kw. Even when there is no sun? anyone had similar issues? Indra have been of little help.

Hi, I'd be grateful someone knowledgeable in smart meters could provide any insight into what could be the problem with my smart meter. After having it initially installed I had to have an engineer come back and install an aerial. Since then I have all 5 green led lights flash every 5 seconds which I believe means the smart meter is working how it should be and is communicating. Despite this EDF is saying they can't read my meter. I will be looking to move to OVO once my 3 year fix deal finishes in September as I want to benefit from the EV tariff they have and I'm keen to get this problem resolved before doing this. If I input my details into the n3rgy website I get no obvious errors other than 'No Export MPAN configured' and 'warning device configuration has not been completed - whitelisted'. Are there any generic reasons why they can't read my meter? Does the green flashing led every 5 seconds definitely mean there is a connection? If that's the case why can't they read the meter

I thought it would be helpful if I described my recent experience in trying to extend the subscriptions to Renault’s connected services.On it’s third birthday, all of my Renault Zoe’s connected services stopped working and so did Ovo’s Charge Anytime app. Charge Anytime’s reported mileage and battery status did not update further despite having driven and recharged several times.In the Renault app and website (https://my.renault.co.uk/contracts.html) those services were just shown as “Ended”. I gather each should have had an “Extend” button but this was absent.My dealership was unable to help and could only direct me to Renault Customer Services (034 433 50000). A man knocked this morning claiming to be from OVO and wanting to read my smart electric meter. I told him they are not manually read. He said they have to be manually read at least once a year. I said that was not so. Who was he? Who sent him?

Anyone using OVO charge Anytime?My car has been plugged into my Hypervolt charger for over an hour. Upcoming schedule was showing, now no upcoming schedules are showing on my charger app.I have used OVO Charge Anytime a couple of times before over the past week with no problems.I’m concerned that my car won’t be charged in the morning.Anyone else had this? 

Earlier this week Ford Pass suspended my account as linked with OVO (3rd Party App)Therefore I am unable to use and will cost c£100 per month more on my electricity bill.Is anyone else experiencing this issue and what are Ford and OVO doing to resolve?I use a Pod Point 7kw charger to charge a Ford Mustang Mach E XL using the OVO Charge anytime App linked to my Ford Pass for the smart charging to give me best rate.

I have a Ford Mach-E and have been using OVO charge anytime for about 4 months now.But Ford have decided OVO is a security risk and has blocked the account.Is anyone else using this successfully? Is there any plans for charge anytime to support Ford cars?

I just received a legit looking email with my account number on it telling me my old meter needs to be replaced before June 25.  I tried to ring a number to get it replaced and the phone ring was silent, then sounded like the phone being fumbled then speaking like just getting out of bed...kept saying hello hello can you hear me even though it was clear as a bell.  I googled the number and it comes up blank.  03330341622
