Hello, just today charge anytime app has stopped connection with my Ford Kuga PHEV. I've tried to re-install OVO and Ford apps. Charge anytime sees the car but when I'm pressing complete button suddenly it kicks back to the main screen. Any help would be much appreciated.

My partner and I have our own homes and are both with Ovo. He signed up to Demand Flexibility Service events through Uswitch, I signed up through Ovo. He’s ‘invited’ to an event tonight (6 - 6.30). I’ve not been invited to anything. Can someone explain to me how / why  that happens?

Hi there, My online account has stopped updating itself and my last useage data was on the 24th (Last meter reading on the 25th) I’ve checked my meter from time to time and the WAN light has been flashing away indicating a connection. It’s been fine for months and transmitting everyday and just suddently stopped updating. Are there any known isues going on? Thanks.

I have solar panels running under the FITs system. I get an amount for the generated power and a deemed amount at 50% of the generated.If I move to a Smart meter what happens to the FITs payments?Will I end up out of pocket by moving across?

The address my isp uses for sending emails is not the one I use on my chargeanytime account.  Will this cause a problem getting their attention?   I know some companies only respond to queries coming from the email account registered with them.

  since last November been trying to get refund since switching . and DESPITE UMPTEEN PHONE CALLS no one has sorted out my rebate. you were happy to take my money but not happy to payback whats owed. I would like some extra compensation now. you have 7 days to respond otherwise I will have to take legal action  

A couple of days ago I requested a credit of £500.00 as I was nearly £1000.00 in credit. I just looked at the app and it now says that I am just over £2000.00 in arrears

Hi I use to have a pre payment metre now I just got a letter off owo.. saying I’m on a variable rate plan and simplier energy.what is the meaning of this this it’s Christmas holidays I’m worried so I’m worried incase I need to top up and I haven’t got the details to top up with my metre as changing suppliers or will it automatically be paid monthly please help because it has not set up a direct debit yet to so I don’t want the electric to govoff

Hi all, First of all, hello, I’m new here! I'm trying to troubleshoot some issues with two smart meter installations in the North West of England. They both are with suppliers other than Ovo, I won’t mention names but their suppliers/supplier’s contractors haven’t been able to resolve their issues to date.My primary question:Which DCC region are postcodes WN8 7ED and WN8 7PE in? (both fairly big postcode areas so no privacy issues sharing these). Further background:Both properties are within around mile of each other. One has an SKU2 cellular + mesh comms hub (with no external antenna fitted which is suspicious) which I understand to be a “South Region” hub. The other has a “Standard 420”, which I understand is a “North Region” hub. Both are attached to SMETS2 Landis + Gyr type 5533 meters. They have both been left in an uncommissioned state and have never worked. Any general advice is welcome, and I appreciate they ultimately need to get their energy supplier to resolve this issue no

I have 10kw solis inverter with no battery. I would like to use generated energy during the day and export only surplus energy to the grid. In Solis Cloud app Info section I can see setting for Grid Interaction Type which is set to - Maximum Export. App doesn't let to change any settings, so I tried to look into inverter's settings, but couldn't find anything that would let me to change this. Maybe someone knows is it possible to change grid interaction type and export only surplus energy to grid?

Having an issue over the last week where my charge isn’t being recognised in the OVO app and therefore being charged full rate. I have a Skoda Enyaq Coupe VRS and a ProjectEV charger so connect via the car and not the charger.Nothing has been changed my side but there was a Skoda update last week over the air which claimed to be minor but seems too coincidental? 

Hi,I want to connect my Geo Trio II to my phone app. In the online settings it should give a secure code. But it keeps on loading. I have an account in the app and the connection with the meter is working. Connection to internet works fine.Does someone has an solution? 

We live in a detached bungalow with a detached garage. Both have electric meters. These were already there when we bought the bungalow. Is it right that we are paying two lots of standing charges?

I’m trying to work out what capacity batteries I need for an existing  solar PV array….my average consumption in the  5 month October-February period is 12kW per day and for the other seven (summer) months its 7kW/day. generation works out at 2000 kW per year obviously heavily loaded to April-September.so what suggestions for the battery capacity ( assuming a 20% margin )?

I have bben advised that having solar barreries in my loft adjacent to current inverter is not advised and as a result the batteries need installation outside.  This is fine but to maintain best efficency in very hot/very cold weather I am advised that they should be insulated.  As this will be a new installation should I heed this  advice and make room for some sort of insulation in the very cold or very hot weather?

Just curious, checked statement (I'm one of those people!) Power move credit applied, interest reward and anything else but nothing for power move plus. Does December's rewards get added to December's bill or in January's? 

HiI had a smart meter installed recently and I am finding something strange with my Quantum Storage Heater.Prior to the installation I was on a Economy 7 rate and my heater would come on at 12am and off at 7am to charge. I knew this due to the LED light on the switch turning on. This occured during my offpeak time, as also confirmed by meter usage.Now, still on Economy 7, I am observing the heater isn’t coming on until 3am and the light stays lit up until 10am. I have confirmed my offpeak time on the smart hub is active at 12am onwards  (I can see the hourly rate changes over) but this isn’t activating or communicating with the heater. And between 7am and 10am, despite the LED light being lit up there is no usage so it isnt actually using my on peak time (again the hub confirms this from 7am onwards), which of course is good.But it seems the heater has gone out of time. I have checked the settings on the heater and it shows the off peak tariff time is 12am to 7am. This leads me to unde

I was associated with SSE on fixed contract and was paying  £105 from April’22 to Mar’23 and  £108 from April’23 to June’23. Payment was made via DD before SSE acquisition to OVO in June’23.My account migrated to OVO with £1,247.64 due amount. I have tried to reach every forum of OVO to explain me the reason for overdue but no response or any rational. I have written multiple emails too but none has responded even Raman’s Team. Calling customer care gives answer “you have to pay the amount what is mentioned and there is access to SSE system hence they can’t check”. My justification that month on month usage is within the range of  £110 - £130 (before OVO and with OVO) is not making any sense to them to investigate. Though I started paying partial amount and due has come down but still want to figure out why I am being charged without justification and how can I reach to resolution?I am clueless and no hope to sort out the matter. Looking for guidance and way forward.

My Nephew is with Octopus and  on Thursday ,Friday and today they have had an energy saving event each day for half an hour from 6.oopm to 6.30pm.Just wondering why we haven't had any?

Meter in kitchen cupboard I have had earth reading of 400 the electrician got to 1.2 . The electrician was called because my kettle and air fryer tripped the box on several occasions.  I was asked to speak to the supplier regarding earthing then they will return to upgrade consumer box. The meter is positioned under a cupboard in the kitchen with  consumer boards behind on opposite wall. Would it be ok toleave meter where it is or advised to meter  ( what if I wanted ev later) terrace property also has solar PV 

My son had a smart meter installed 18 months ago.  His flat has 2 circuits, one general and one for night storage heaters.  It would obviously suit Eco 7 but he did not have an Eco 7 tariff and doesn’t want one.  The install failed to supply the night heaters and Ovo finally sent an engineer to fix it today.  He left saying that my son would have to have an Eco 7 tariff if he wants electricity on his 2nd circuit.  Surely this can’t be true.  Surely Ovo wouldn’t do this to their customers.  Or would they?

As of yesterday, we’ve been experiencing a couple of odd things involving one or two of the old lights being dim, slight flickering, and the bathroom fan being slow before today it not starting at all and the washing machine complaining of a power issue.Surprised to find that the newer electricity meter installed by OVO self-reports supply voltage and it’s a shock; down varying between 185-200V! Have attached pictures of what it shows.We’ve checked the reading when the consumer unit is turned off (so there’s no load on the supply) and there is no change. I understand that this is well below what is expected and should count as a power cut.Just to wonder if anyone’s experienced this before, and if I should go straight to the distributor (UK Power Networks in my case) rather than speaking to OVO at all?  

IHD was working perfectly after recent installation but the gas display has just become a series of dots on the cost option. However, the KWH’s used displays fine on day/week/month options. How can I get the cost option working again?

I was migrated from SSE(Standard Economy 9) to Ovo (Simpler Energy - Economy 7) earlier this year. During migration, I recieved a letter stating “We wrote to tell you that we were moving your electricity supply to OVO Energy. Great news! Your move is now complete. With OVO you can expect clean, affordable energy - plus the same great customer service. And you can rest assured that your prices haven't changed as a result of the move, you'll still pay exactly the same.”However, I just noticed that my Ovo Plan has only 7 hours of Off Peak usage.  The main issue now is that , All my storage heaters are getting Powered ON by the meter, during Peak tariff hours (1 PM to 4PM and 8 PM to 10 PM this was non-peak hours in my previous tariff ), Which is resulting in heavy un-intended consumption and unfair billing.  Will OVO be able to refund this consumption, as METER was expected to work as per the new OFF Peak timings ?  Am I entitled for a compensation due to their fault in correctly configur
