Hello, would OVO be able to repair a Baxi back boiler ? I want to get cover for it but trying to find out if my baxi Bermuda bbu15he will be covered with parts etc . Thank you

I checked this with our team who are sorry but have said they wouldn’t be able to offer cover to a new customer if you’ve got a back boiler I'm afraid.
We’d advise you find a local gas safe engineer to complete the necessary work. Apologies we wouldn’t be able to take that on at the moment.

By the way, I’ve been digging deeper into this one and found some stuff that might be relevant.
Looks like installs of back boilers slowed down significantly around 2005 and were completely banned as of 2018 - none have been manufactured since. It also looks like the spare parts supply might not be your only problem - not many engineers are likely to want to touch these units other than to help with removing them.
You might be better off replacing the entire unit with something else. The cost savings will soon outweigh the initial purchase.
