How to get Ovo to delete redundant MPANs

In 2014 SSE converted our 3 single phase meters to one 3-phase meter. This meant that of the original 3 MPANS, two should be deleted. However SSE did not delete the redundant MPANs. This only became apparent when SSE sold its retail business to OVO. At this point OVO created new accounts for the two redundant MPANS and Ovo have been pestering us for payment for the bills generated for the two accounts.The DNO (SSE) can see that the two redundant supplies do not exist but say that it is OVO's responsibility to get the redundant MPANS removed. I have sent several emails to hello@ovoenergy.com but have had no response.What should I do next?

V2G Export Tariff, plans for 2023?

With only 6 weeks to the end of the year do we know if the V2G export tariffs will continue into the new year. It’s tricky making any plans regarding cars, charging, V2H or energy suppliers not knowing what January’s billing will look like.

Charge anytime lost connection with Ford Kuga PHEV

Hello, just today charge anytime app has stopped connection with my Ford Kuga PHEV. I've tried to re-install OVO and Ford apps. Charge anytime sees the car but when I'm pressing complete button suddenly it kicks back to the main screen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Confused by savings figures as shown on the App

Hello,New user here...…Just charged from my new podpoint last night, plugged in at 2100 and plugged out at 0800.Both my car and podpoint apps show 25kwh put in at 30.45p therefore roughly £8.The charge anytime figures are showing 14.9 kwh and £3. Are theses figures both savings figures ?Can I take it that some of my overnight session was at normal rate as at £8, I would have thought a £5 saving would be shown ? Cheers Paul

Can I change my IHD from an IHD3 to IHD6?

I was looking for information on how to reset the budget on my IHD. Looking at the OVO website I find that the policy appears to be to fit the IHD6 but I have an IHD3 even though it was fitted a couple of months ago. There appear to be a lot more useful features on the IHD6 which I want to use. I cant find out how to get the unit upgraded. Any suggestions please. David

Is the OVO website really going to be down for the rest of 2023?

I am shocked, surely this cannot be correct?  I understand websites being down for sometimes a few weeks for updates, but when I tried to log into the OVO Energy website today only to see the message “We're in the process of migrating groups of customers to our new website so access to your online account won't be available until the end of 2023” I was quite frankly flabbergasted.  And with absolutely zero warning that this was pending.So is that right, will there be no website for up to 9 months???How will I monitor my usage in these trying financial times?  How will I be able to check when my peak charge times are?  How will I be able to check whether my direct debit is adequate to cover my monthly costs, and how will I be able to change it? How will I be able to view and compare historical bill values?  And how will I be able to view and compare any new fixed rate deals that might become available.Seriously, this kind of potential duration of outage of online services would be scand

We should have access to our account by end of 2023, but still don't - what's going on?

I'm £500 in credit but no Interest Reward is being applied?

I’ve been with OVO since around 2019 (Lumo for a few years prior) and have noticed that there is no interest being applied to my account (I’m £560 in credit). I’ve logged a call but am being told I need to wait “around 21 days” for an investigation to complete.Has anyone else experienced this?

OVO can't do my charger installation, who should I pick for my EV Charger installation?

Hi there,  I have an MG ZS and I’m looking to have a home EV charger installed.  I can’t do it via OVO as the installer would have to use a ladder to access my electric board, which seems bizarre!  Anyway I’m looking to install a charger and then use OVO EV tariff.  I’m very new to this and have a few questions.  Firstly, OVO bolt on appears to be not available on the web?  Can I use any EV charger or just Indra or Ohme?   If so, does anyone have a view on which is better Indra or Ohme?  Does anyone recommend an installer for Ipswich?

Problem connecting Charge Anytime app to Porsche Panamera

I had no issues with the app and a previous EV. I have a pod point charger so use the Charge Anytime app to control when the vehicle charges. ive tried to connect my new Porsche Panamera and can find my car when logging in to my Porsche Account via the Charge Anytime app, but it fails at the final hurdle having said that connections was successful initially. Any tips?

Don't want excess Solar to charge the car, neither do I want to discharge the battery to meet the load?

Ovo supplied and fitted my solar and EV charger. I benefit from 10p EV charging and 20p SEG. Financially it makes sense to always charge the car from the grid.I do not want excess solar to charge the car, neither do I want to discharge the battery to meet the load.The positioning of CT clamps means that the GivEnergy Inverter will see the draw from the EV. I was initially advised that if I moved the Solar CT clamp the other side of the EV consumer unit and Henley block the inverter would not see the EV. GivEnergy informed me that this would affect operation and advised against it.Because Charge Anytime does not use the native Indra Pro App I cannot delay charging the car until after dark and after battery has fully discharged to the house demand in the evening post sun down. The moment I plug the car in I can only set a “ready by” time eg 0700. I want to be able to plug the car in at a convenient time with a delay function eg “don’t start  charge until after 11pm but ready by 7am”Suppl

Can't access Online Account until 2023? I'm on the old billing system

Every month we insert meter readings on the due date required. This was done this month (April) as normal. These meter readings are processed and a monthly account and statement is normally available within 1 to 3 days. Today is day 5 since the meter readings were entered on line. Today we are advised that access to the on line account information will not be available until the end of 2023. ?? Computer migration ??. Can any one advise HOW we are to give meter readings on the next due date. May 2023. There isn’t a smart meter and the data collection management (Actual Meter reader) only attends periodically even though the request is for no more than a three month reading. Can anyone advise??

Can anyone from OVO management tell us if they will work with ripple energy?

Ripple energy sponsor a number of co-operative opportunities to invest in wind and solar power. The benefit is savings on your electricity bill.Ovo are not on the list, despite their green credentials.Is there any plans to change this?

I'm still being charged for some usage, is my battery set up correctly?

I had 10 solar panels and a battery installed a couple of months ago. I’ve an app which tells me how much energy is being collected, stored, sent to the grid, etc. But I notice I’m still being charged by my supplier for some electricity used. It’s not a lot - about a kw a day, but at this time of the year I’m not using much energy. Meanwhile up to 20 kw are being sent to the grid. Is this as it should be or is it possible that my battery settings are not right? If so what should I do?

Charge Anytime billing incomprehensible

I‘ve just received my first quarterly bill from OVO since signing up to Charge Anytime and the usage and credits don’t seem to bear any relation to my records and the Indra app records.Since the Drive Anytime credit is just shown as a credit on the bill and no breakdown of dates or KW (yes you can work it out but since they show the total KW used why not show the Charge Anytime usage). Using the data from my records (that match 100% to the Indra app) I get completely different amounts for each month period and believe that I have been under credited by about £20. It seems impossible to reconcile the credits with actual usage.I’ve gone onto the website to use the “new feature” - Your EV that is supposed to show your Charge Anytime usage, but, guess what, it doesn’t work for me, unable to access data.Is anyone else having the same problem? I would have thought that a fundamental requirement for an energy supplier is to make their bill easy to understand and check. At the moment all I’ve

Here’s a great idea - pay people the FIT payments on time!

I am still waiting for my feed in tariff payment.We are out of the quarter and OFGEM, OVO etc say you will be paid within the quarter.OVO could massively improve its customer satisfaction by actually paying them what they owe them, within the agreed timeframe!

Two cars using Zappi charger on Charge Anytime

I have a zappi charger at home. How can I set up both cars to charge at home using the charge anytime app? OVO told me they were working with zappi to allow this, however zappi told me they were only in discussion with Octopus.I only moved to OVO to be able to charge two cars on the low rate.

Solar Panels and Charge Anytime

I have an EV charger but also solar panels so Charge Anytime is not available to me.  I think I have to wait until OVO have worked out how to estimate the amount taken from the grid to charge my EV.  Is this understanding correct?  Is there no tariff that as an EV driver which is beneficial for me?
