How do I export my OVO usage data?

I'd like to be able to export my usage data, so I can have access to it even if I leave OVO (etc). I've never seen a function do do this. Does it exist?

Switched to OVO PAYG from Boost PAYG, Topped up fine in new app, top "card" not working instore

Switched to OVO PAYG from Boost PAYG, Topped up fine in new app however the top up "card"  in the app is not working instore.Tried mutliple times this evening.I am off supply now and owe £17.xx so I can’t get “friendly credit” There is an outage from 1 am to 5 am tonight. What am I supposed to do???? Even if I could get money into the bank it would cost me a fortune in travel at this time of night backwards and forwards to the paying--in cash machine. Total joke has been off supply for four years due to a faulty battery meter, which the engineer told me had been capped off since I moved in. For four years, I went without (gas)central heating. & hot water.  Just get it back for the first winter and then this.  The engineer arrived earlier than arranged so I am owed compensation(The afternoon appointment requested and confirmed) arrived at 10:20 am. Boost passed the book to Engage and said they have to pay compo as they booked him in. Engage said no boost owed me. The engineer left s

What's the best way to switch from pay monthly to prepayment (PAYG) with OVO?

Hi all,  recently moved into a new house and we have just been moves from sse to ovo. We have just had new smart meters and in home display etc fitted by ovo. We told them we wanted to change from quarterly billing, used by previous tenant, to pre payment. The meters will do this. But nothing has been done by ovo, and after 2 hours on the phone being passed from one person to thr next and cut off 3 times, they keep trying to send me to Boost. Boost keep sending me back as I'm.not their customer and they have no details so can't do anything. Ovo clearly do pre payment as they have an app for it, our new meters will do it as the engineer told us, yet no one on the phone seems to be able to help. Thr last person I spoke to seemed to accept ovo can do this but suggested I ring back in a week as the meters weren't registered yet. Really can't go through all the hassle again, anyone have any ideas about who to contact, what to tell them, and exactly how to simply get onto pre payment? Any ad

When will I get access to my online account?

OVO have treated their customers who are on their legacy on-line portal very badly. OVO decided not to inform customers by email that their on-line access had been suspended and have failed to pro-actively keep us informed of when our on-line access will be restored. Despite being assured on multiple occasions that on-line access would be restored by the end of 2023 this is now promised in Q1 2024. Customers need to let OVO know that they need to keep us regularly informed and make it a priority to restore our on-line access by the end of January not the end of March 2024. A selection of my recent correspondence with OVO is below.   9th December“I am afraid I have no infinitive date on when you will be migrated over to our upgraded system, where you will be able to use the app.  When we spoke some time ago, we said end of the year However, let me take this away and see if I can get an update.”11th December“We are currently working towards getting a defined date for when you would be ab

what are Ovo offering those with meters that arent compatible with thencurrent lower tariff times

My meter has been replaced by ovo in the last few years and they tell me it is not suitable for the current best price offer. Its dual tariff foe night and day rates.  How many / what percentage of users are affected by this and what are they going to offer us instead

end of economy 7?

What will happen to night storage heating when E7 gets phased out in 2030? I have the older Dimplex storage heaters and was considering moving to Dimplex Quantum HHR heaters but if E7 not available will there there still be an equivalent off peak tariff offered or should I change all heaters to electric radiators on regular tariff?

Help - why can't I submit a meter reading?

I am a new ovo customer and I have to give a meter reading in the next 5 days. Simple yes? No! No matter how I try to submit the readings (app, mobile website, website website) I have a message pop up after I log on telling me my switch is on hold as there is a problem and I have been sent an enail explaining this. I have only recieved one email and it says “hooray your switched!” Kinda thing with a link to upload meter readings. I click on the link and end up at the same page saying there’s an issue and I’ve been emailed. Please save me!

How to get OVO to pay what they agree they owe after switching away

How to get OVO/SSE to pay what they agree they owe after switching awayAfter switching the electricity supply away from OVO/SSE in March 2023 it took a while for the closing meter readings to be agreed. Eventually OVO/SSE produced a bill dated 13 September 2023 and headed "Your amended final electricity statement"The bill says "We owe you £2,220.77. We’ll transfer this amount into your bank account on or soon after 25 September 2023."However, another bill dated 15 September 2023 (two days after the above bill) credited the account with a goodwill payment of £75, but changed the wording to "Your account is in credit by £2,295.77. We’ll put this credit towards your next statement, so you’ll pay less." As OVO/SSE were no longer the supplier there would never be a "next statement", so this was less than helpful.We still have these bills as evidence.Several phone calls have not met with success - varying from "That's an old SSE account number. We can't find the account on our systems" to a

Why isn't balance showing on Boost app after migration?

I was originally with ovo but was moved to boost and now I've been moved back.Got the ovo appTried to register on website and it's saying I have to make a new password it takes me to the website which is being renewed. So how am I meant to sort that out? Also why isn't there a balance on the app?I'm a pay and go customer if my in home display was to fail I wouldn't be able to track balance, I would also like to point out this isn't good for people with disabilities who can't navigate websites etc or in home displays to not be able to see balances.

Why am I getting an error on PAYG phone app using my Android?

I'm on PAYG so downloaded the app to both my phone and tablet (both android)   I can access my account through the tablet but the phone just gets the popup message OVO has stopped, does anyone know how to fix this?

IHD not been received- Old meter type

Hello, this is a long story but I’ll try to keep it short.I moved into my current property 4 years ago. When I moved in, it was apparent that there was no IHD here. It appears that the previous occupants very annoyingly took it with them.At the time I was with Eon. I tried numerous times to request an IHD from them, but Eon’s policy is not to give IHDs to anyone!Since the energy prices rising I am now desperate to get an IHD, it’s impossible for me to track my usage effectively without one. I am aware of the apps (such as Loop), but these are almost useless for working out the amounts of energy and the cost of appliances in real time. I have tried.  Also I’ve seen the Ivie bud IHDs, but I really can’t afford to spend £55 on this, the whole reason I need an IHD is because I’m really trying to save money. So, I messaged Ovo, who said of course they would provide me with an IHD if I were to switch to them. I moved to boost energy and had missed appointment from marston holdings engage. Who are they?

Hello Today out of the blue I had someone from Marston holdings engage services turn up for a safety inspection of my metering equipment. I was not expecting anyone and just thought it was someone trying to sell something, as they left they put a letter through the door. The letter states that I am now a customer of boost energy, i am with OVO energy and that I apparently received a welcome letter which was previously sent - i have received no letters and no notice of any appointment to carry out safety inspection of my metering equipment - I am a pre payment customer. I do not want a smart meter and am happy as I am . What do engage services of Marston holdings do? On the account number on my letter in ends with the word reco? I am confused.

What's the problem with my new account and the OVO welcome letter?

Hello everyone,  I hope you’re all having a nice day, Having recently been moved over automatically from SSE PAYG to Ovo Energy PAYG I received my welcome letter dated 2 August 2023, it stated my move was complete so I thought I’d give them a call to confirm a few details, like making sure I’m still registered with priority service, that I can I top up my electric key at paypoint without any issues etc, generally get some more information I needed in regards to my specific concerns. Yesterday in my 1st call using 0330 303 5063 I got from google search, I got told that my “account is still pending”, 5 days after welcome letter saying everything complete & ready, today I tried webchat for an update & to get more information, they told me they couldn’t access my account & to phone 0330 175 9669 as web chat is not available/set up at the moment for prepayment meter customers like myself (not very good is it?), so I called them on that number, 18 minutes on hold then the calls r

Moved into house supplied by Boost

Hello, I bought a house in November but haven’t fully moved in until recently. I need to put the gas & electric meters in my name because although I can top up the electricity meter with the precious owner’s card, it will not let me do this with the gas meter. I gas meter is now in debit so will need to pay that. It is extremely difficult to get through to anyone on the phone and there seems to be no options to deal with this online. I am fed up of being without gas. I need advice please on the quickest and easiest way to go about this, and how long should the switch over take? Thanks.

OVO trying to take over my energy supply I did not authorise this?

OVO are trying to take over my energy supply, I have never been in contact with them, nor authorised this, at present I am an EDF Customer, and I have unfortunately been a victim of Identity fraud this month.  However, I have put a password on all credit accounts, notified CIFAS, the police and action fraud.The financial ombudsman are also taking on my case, your urgent attention / response would be really appreciated.I have also this evening emailed OVO complaints email, as this only came to my attention today by post from my current supplier.Many thanks.

Solis Inverter 1P5K-4G, solis cloud only showing production of the inverter and solar

Problem: No other information such as Load Consumption and Grid Import/Export. I read various manual and yet cannot apply all of them because there are not found in the settings of the inverter (more details below). Question:Is the firmware of the inverter causing the problem? If it is the firmware, how can I be able to update the firmware? If not the firmware, are there other solution without buying external smart energy monitoring devices?  Known settings and parameters:Inverter: Solis 1P5K-4G, Obtained around the year 2019, around June to October. Inverter was used with Limiter (LimByEPM) then now we have Net Metering installed (Generating). The CT is still plugged from the inverter and placed on the live wire before the main large breaker pointing towards the said breaker.Inverter Version: AC(Model: AC) as stated in the advance settings of the inverterOn the Advance Settings: There is no 24H SwitchOn the Export Power Set: There is no Consumption Monitor in the options.
