We're victims of the termination of heatpump plus too. I'm speechless and out of pocket after changing to OVO, getting the Internet connection for the heatpump and, after complaining, a smart meter fitted. Even now this tariff is still being advertised. OVO staff seem not to have been informed of this change, as we were told we could go straight onto the tariff as soon as we had the smart meter. Oh well, off to another energy supplier I suppose. Very disappointing, to say the least.

I am using the Charge app and the Hypervolt Pro 3 (bought through OVO) to charge my Volvo XC40 Recharge. It doesn’t work.  Customer service has been woeful. I have to wait for 40 minutes plus to speak to someone, who doesn’t have an answer and who promises to ‘escalate’ it. I’ve had a ‘ticket raised’ which amounted to zero contact. I’ve sent three emails and had no response to any of them.  So what’s happening…The car doesn’t charge through the app. I set the schedule, wake up the next day and nothing. I thought it might be the fact that Vovlo settings have their own schedule internally - I disabled it. It worked. Then it didn’t again. When I looked, something between the app and the car had switched the Volvo’s internal schedule on again. This morning however, that wasn’t the case at all, it was still disabled but the car hadn’t charged. When I went to bed last night the schedule was set for it all to be done by 0700 this morning thr

I’m getting quite confused with solar & battery used with anytime.Is this even possible on ovo? I seem to think I might be best changing to octopus, we are looking at getting solar and a Powerwall 3 installed, we are currently using charge anytime with an indra pro and the more I look the more i’m confused if we can A: actually charge the car when excess solar, assuming we generate enough, B: use any kind of time of use tariff with anytime to charge the battery at a cheap rate C: have this battery boost addon with a Powerwall? I can’t even see battery boost any ware on my ovo page, D: Export rate prices, I think ovo will pay 12p excess for a install not done by them?

I have a Volvo V60 T6, which my app recognises, but the App charge history is going an ‘unknown device’ and the T6 being charged, which almost double the kWh compared to the charger App and the Volvo App. Any ideas?

I have a brand new Hypervolt pro 3, set to a smart schedule charging period. Using charge anytime. The period begins at 11pm and ends at 7am.  When I plug in the charger, both OVO App, Tesla app and Hyper volt app all have the same charging schedule and all are set to charge to 100%.  the OVO app states that the charger will start, in time to allow the car to finish by 7am. But the charger never gets the car too 100%, always stopping at some point in the 90s.   the charger is often delaying starting until 1 or 2 am, but then not getting to its desired level.  anyone experienced this or have any idea how to ensure the charger gets the car too 100%

Since updating the charge time app my devices have been wiped off my account. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Logging out and back in but it lets me connect the car however it doesn't show as a device in my account settings and when I try and add the charger it gives error something has gone wrong please try laterthis has been happening for two days now. I have a monthly plan with 1000 units paid for on my account however as the car is not registering I am being charged at full price the two charges I have done this month have cost £40 so far, I have raised a ticket through the ovo service yesterday but not had anything back as yet.has anyone experienced this ? 

I have solar and battery installed through Ovo currently exporting on the SEG Install Exclusive tariff. I'll be getting a great pink soon and am looking at tariff options. How does the Heat Pump Plus tariff calculate the electricity used by a heat pump if some is generated by solar and not imported? Is it as simple as the 15p/kWh cost being applied to any electricity imported, up to the amount that the heat pump has used? Over what period is this calculated? I’d like to work out the most cost effective way to run the systems if I get paid 20p for export but only pay 15p for import!

Hi,Unlike many of the other posters, I’ve had the opposite problem of paying too much for a charge.The car reckons it received around 17kwh of energy last night (which seems about right, as it was at 70%), but both the Hypervolt app and the OVO Charge app reckon they only supplied 3kwh. I’m guessing physics hasn’t changed and more likely a computer glitch, but thought I’d raise it with the forum.  Colin

Hi all. I am really confused. we have paid the tariff cost of £37.50 and are plugging in our car at around 18:00, the car starts to charge immediately. It will continue to charge until 80%when I check the smart charge says it cost £0 but on my OVO account it is showing that we have used x amount of electricity and it charges us for this. does this mean we have to pay the tariff and then another cost on top or do we get this money back the following month. it is really difficult to understand. thanks for any help. 

Anyone using OVO charge Anytime?My car has been plugged into my Hypervolt charger for over an hour. Upcoming schedule was showing, now no upcoming schedules are showing on my charger app.I have used OVO Charge Anytime a couple of times before over the past week with no problems.I’m concerned that my car won’t be charged in the morning.Anyone else had this? 

Been using Ohme for nearly 2 years without issue. Put my car on charge last night and woke up to a message saying no power to charger. Followed Ohme advice to drop the breaker etc which didn’t resolve anything. Rang Ohme who said that because I bought it through OVO I had to contact them. Spoke to a helpful advisor at OVO who thought I should speak with Ohme … long story short OVO are coming to look at it on the 9th December. I’m presently Granny Charging but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue? It charged for 3 KW before dropping. I was half expecting to see a tripped breaker but I’ve checked them all. BTW Ohme state that charger looks ok when they checked it online…..

I have charged twice (end of Nov and once in Dec) and the miles have not been deducted from my allowance. Does this mean it has been charged at full rate? Also, how do I get the miles retrospectively deducted - not sure if someone at OVO can answer this for me? Just to clarify my VW app had a password issue which took VW 2 weeks to sort - so its likely linked as the OVO charge app wouldnt have been linked to the car - but I still have my miles to use. 

I've recently switched suppliers but my Hypervolt charger needs me to remove the schedule from the OVO app. The OVO app looks to have removed me from the plan already. What do I do?

Hi all…looking for any experience the forum might have with the Nexblue Point home EV charger, particularly using 4G connectivity. Also welcome general experience using the charger using other connectivity methods.

 I’ve been experiencing repeated failures to charge overnight, after setting charge time on the OVO Charge app (which recently supplanted the Charge anytime app).If I set a time just a few hours away from the present, it will always charge without issue, but setting a morning deadline maybe 9-12 hours away seems to cause issue for some reason.From previous experience of overnight charge failures, then one successful charge, I surmised I needed to set the time on the app before I plug in the car, because that was the only thing I did differently that time.However, doing that, still no charge on multiple mornings, despite typically a spike of activity in the late evening, and the OVO app stating charging would recommence in the small hours.Trying to see if there’s any app issues, looking at my Z
