Hi, I have not had anyone round to check my smart meter readings for months and months. I’d like to check the meters match my bills? Is it possible to read them the old fashioned way to check?

I am on 30 min smart reads and have an ovo app. Can I  still set up "usage checker" on their apps/online? if so how??i cant find it or the questionnaire on main household appliances. thanks MrB

HelloThis seems obviously wrong but how do I solve it?It’s a Mitsubishi Ecodan system. The heating seems to be driven by the thermostat fixed on the side of the HWC, and not the roving thermostat.Fixed stat reports 19.5 actual / 18 requiredRoving reports 16.5 / 18How do I get it to use the roving thermometer?(yes, one solution is set the stat to 21 or something but that is not very helpful, thanks)The Melcloud app reflects the fixed readings.Thanks for any helpmelcloudfixedroving 

We had a smart meter installed a few months ago. We haven’t yet been given an in-home monitor, so have to refer to the meter itself.  On checking our usage today, I noticed the meter had stopped sending daily readings since 6th of this month, which coincides with a bad storm and power outage. On checking the meter in order to send manual readings, I noticed that there were three LED status lights and, at first, the green light was showing. There were also two buttons to the left of the screen, one green and the other grey. We took a note of the reading being displayed, but since we have both peak and off-peak rates, we waited to see if it would show the other reading but it didn’t, so we pressed the green button and the display went blank. After randomly pressing both buttons, we eventually got back to the original screen, but the LED light which had been green had now changed to blue, and we’ve no idea what this means.I’ve included a photo of these lights ( please note that it is actu

Had my Indra Charger installed for a week now.Done several charges with no issues, OVO has 'seen' them fine.Until this morning that is.Latest charge has not shown in the OVO app and it's been saying there is an issue try again later.Got home and charger was flashing purple, which I understand is a comms error.Rebooted and now white again, but OVO don't seem to know I charged last night, as I guess there was a comms problem.Will this sort itself out or will I be charged at the full rate for this charge period because of a comms drop?And anyone with an Indra, how common is it for this to happen, bit worrying.

Hi all…looking for any experience the forum might have with the Nexblue Point home EV charger, particularly using 4G connectivity. Also welcome general experience using the charger using other connectivity methods. 

Many of those who are used to retrieving their usage data from third parties have noticed an interruption in the service recently. For me, it started on 13 June and has yet to be resolved.Third parties (called ‘other users’ by DCC) are supposed to be able, with the customer’s permission, to contact a smart meter and retrieve usage and tariff data stored in it, which they can then present in a friendly form and also make it possible to download the data. This is in many cases a more efficient system than what suppliers offer via their websites.So far, we’ve heard from customers using n3rgy and Hugo, and also apps like Loop which piggyback on n3rgy to get the data. It appears that only those with Aclara meters are affected, although this may be a red herring: all of the affected customers I’ve come across have indeed Aclara meters, but another common factor is the communications hub - in all cases WNC. Hi Community,Hoping someone can help.  I have a new ID3 that is not being charged unless it is manually applied via the VW app when connected to my home Ohme charger.I understand the changes that have been made between Ovo and Ohme, so have deleted my Ohme account and app from my phone. after doing this I also deleted my car from the Charge Anytime app and re-created.Now, whenever I plug in, the car is seen as being connected in the CA app, and does start to charge for a few moments, but then stops. If I set it to be ready by, for example, 6am, nothing is then added.  This is now becoming a big issue!I will add that the one time that it has worked it still didn’t reach the 80% requested which is also big problem.Charging away from home is no problem. I have used a number of other charging points, so the issue is between the car, CA and Ohme.Any ideas are more than welcomed!!

Hi, i have a new Hypervolt Pro3, that is linked to my Ovo charge account, so Ovo decides when to charge.  My HV account says the charger is locked.  So, do I need to unlock that from the HV account or does Ovo do that when it starts chargjng? There seems to be contradictory information out there on this.If I "unlock" manually during the OVO scheduled session, will the cost of charging be the 7p per kwh or my standard rate? Thanks

I have noticed that the cheap rate time come on later that stated and finish earlier that stated are any other customers experiencing this?

Having checked my past 3 months, as I have not received any credits for my EV charging even though I had been receiving them from June 25. I contacted the Helpdesk and was informed that the App had lost my data for the past 3 months and I would not be receiving any credits even though it is obvious from my billing data when I charged my car. I find this incredibly unfair and want to inform other users to check. Without those credits has forced up my monthly credit from £90 to £136 per month. I was informed that OVO will not give me my credits as it was my fault that the App failed. I am extremely unhappy with this 

Is it possible to setup temporary charging with a slow 13A car charger using charge anytime? At home I have an Indra charger, it works fine with Charge Anytime, no problems.  At the moment I am having my driveway re-laid, and this means I can’t get my car on the drive near the charger.  I do have a 13A charger for the car, and have worked out it reaches the end ok.  But can I set that up to use charge anytime?  I can’t see how to add another charger in the app?Car is a Tesla Model 3 if that matters.

Hi, I have used the new OVO Charge app a few times before without any issues. Since early this week the OVO Charge app is not recognising that the car is plugged in. The car sticks on the initialising stage, and the blue light on the charger is flashing like the initialising stage, but no charge seems to be releasing as the app still states ‘plug in vehicle to begin charging’.I have never used the OVO anytime app as still fairly new to EV’s. I have a Jaguar Ipace and an Evec charger.I have also emailed the OVO charge email address and not had a response since Monday. I am now having to charge away from home costing a lot of extra money.I have also tried deleting both Evec and OVO charge app’s and reinstalling and still no joy.Any help would be great fully appreciated.

Recently renewed our contract for the 3rd year and just noticed that we are no longer receiving our charge anytime credit. Ive emailed support, just wanted to check if this has happened to anyone else and if they had any problems getting it sorted.

I have solar and battery installed through Ovo currently exporting on the SEG Install Exclusive tariff. I'll be getting a great pink soon and am looking at tariff options. How does the Heat Pump Plus tariff calculate the electricity used by a heat pump if some is generated by solar and not imported? Is it as simple as the 15p/kWh cost being applied to any electricity imported, up to the amount that the heat pump has used? Over what period is this calculated? I’d like to work out the most cost effective way to run the systems if I get paid 20p for export but only pay 15p for import!

How can I find out which public chargers are compatible with Ovo's charging card? I can use Zapmap to find chargers but might not get the saving by using the card.I want to find a compatible chademo charger near Gatwick airport and there's currently no way of doing so.

Hi i have just had a volvo ex30 , is this car compatible with ovo's charge anytime? 

I’m hoping somebody can help me as I feel like I’ve tried everything! I recently moved into a house with a Mitsubishi Ecodan Heatpump and heatmiser neostat thermostats. Downstairs there is underfloor heating which is working perfectly with the thermostats. However, there are radiators upstairs which are also supposed to be controlled by a single neostat, but this seems to have lost connection to the Ecodan. Does anybody know how I go about re-pairing the neostat to the ecodan so that it can control the radiators? It looks like there is 2 zones on the ecodan system - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Any help would be very much appreciated!

I recently switched to a cheaper nighttime tariff and want to set my hot water to come on mainly during the night, with a short boost in the early evening. I've set the DHW schedule for the right times but for some reason it still comes on outside of the schedule before the maximum temp drop should kick in. The tank temp is set to 50° with a reheat drop of 15° and this morning is was heating when the tank temp was at 44°. It also wasn't anything to do with the legionaries setting as this had only been run a few days ago.I have the MELCloud app setup with a schedule for the heating and have tried switching this off to only rely on the control unit schedule and this doesn't seem to help either.I've attached a screen shot of my last 24hrs temp history which shows yesterday evenings temp boost and since then it hasn't dropped below the 35° that should start the reheat cycle, so as far as I can tell it shouldn't have been coming on this morning.Does anyone know why this might be happening?T

In recent weeks there has been an issue with charging my car. The car gets stuck in a state of initializing. At the moment I plug it in and it's charging up to 25% but then for some reason it's not coming back on later. There are no other settings either on my SyncEV charging unit or in the Porsche that should be impacting this. And I have made no changes from when it was previously working. Given that is getting to 25% I am definitely thinking this as an issue with the OVO charge anytime process. I think the Indra integration is setting the future departure time in the Porsche app (currently scheduled for Wed 15th Oct, today is Saturday 11th October), which I am told is standard.  However the car now doesnt charge fully either during the day or overnight. 

Hi!I have just bought a new electric Mercedes CLA and on Wednesday OVO are scheduled to install a smart meter. I was planning to get an Ohme Pro charger installed, but I now see that there are problems with OVO and Ohme Pro not talking to each other properly.  What should I do?John

Hi there, I’m curious to know if I’m being over charged with OVO Example in the image below from my December usage During the 22nd-29th my property was empty and all electrical devices were turned off as I went home from Christmas But I still got charged around £6 per day? Last week my direct debit was increased to £113, today it was increased again to £198 I live in an all electrical maisonette, one bedroom, two storage heaters and water heater The heaters only be used a few hours at night There was major delays and difficulties getting my supply switched from BOOST to OVO  My meter was set at zero when it was installed around the seconded week of December  It read over 1000KWH at the end of December How is this possible if I was only using the recently switched power supply for about two weeks in December ? Why is the usage showing when I wasn’t even with OVO at the time, or when the property was empty? Why does it say I’m using around 20KWH per day? This makes no sense ? What’s goin
