Why does the app advise people to contact chargeanytime@ovoenergy.com which is not a valid email address anymore?

Hi, we are first time EV owners and have been offered the 30,000 mile over 3 years deal through Audi. Tariffs are quite confusing, is this a good offer and is the dual fuel tariff alongside it competetive.Many thanks

Hi, I tried using the smart scheduling for the first time last night to charge my car. My car was unlocked, I plugged in the cable both ends and my charger started to flash, this was around 19:30. Checking my app all night nothing seemed to happen. I last checked at 23:00 and still nothing. Thinking it may not charge until after midnight I went to bed. My app was set to finish by 07:30 but following that this morning, no charge had been started at all since last night. Unlocked my car this morning (changed smart schedule to 10am) and it started charging straight away. Seems strange that it will only start if my car is unlocked? Anyone else had this issue?

Been using Hypervolt 3 in conjunction with OVO Anytime for at least a year now. Recently I set Anytime to complete by 2100 hours before an important journey and was surprised on departure to find nothing had happened and had great difficulty in getting the charger cable out of the OBC. Used different vehicle and tried to resolve problem with various resets a day or two later. Eventually I called the Anytime support number and was redirected to Hypervolt who cleared the problem from their end. Where can we find guidance about who to contact in different scenarios? My biggest single issue is the hand-off between suppliers, installers, EV app and go-betweens such as OVO. A simple “map” would save a lot of time and trouble for all.

Hi all, just want a bit off advice.. just had solar panels fitted with inverter and storage battery all done by ovo, also fitted about 12months ago indra pro ev car charger also by ovo,question  is.…I only charge my ev approx 3 times a month using 120 killowatts using ovo  charge anytime.Just tried to get battery boost with ovo and been told we can't have both as not compatible. Also have seg account with ovo.Must be other people on site with this problem what way would you go, have charge anytime or uninstall it and get battery  boost?.Or get rid off ovo and go with another energy supplier..eg octopus who can provide both of  these add ons.Thank you all in advance for your thoughts good or bad…Dellboy.

Normally charging 7kw but suddenly dropped to 2kw and cannot get it back to 7kw?I have Skoda Enyaq

Hey everyone, this week I picked up a new mini cooper E from the dealer.I already had OVO at my house to upgraded to charge anytime.I have a smart charger but it isnt compatible with charge anytime so I have set it up as a dummy charger and troubleshooted to prove my charger isn’t causing any of my issuesWhen I set my “ready by” time, the car starts charging and then I get a notification from the mini app along the lines of “charging paused, it will resume again at..” confirming that ovo is speaking to the car. The charge anytime app will then state that charging will resume at 3am lets sayEvery morning I wake up, and I have a notification from mini at the time ovo said it would start charging to say “charging interrupted, check power supply and plug in again”I have troubleshooted and remove ovo charge anytime to test start/stopping charging through my mini app which works without issue, so my charger is happy to start and stop chargin

Hi all, Quick question - My charger is linked to Ovo Charge Anytime, not my car. So CA manages everything which is fine as it works as it should. I have a charging profile set up in the My Porsche app for my Taycan that I named '80' as its the one I use most of the time to charge the car to 80%. If I want to charge the car to 100% however, do I need to set up another charge profile in the Porsche app and set the minimum charge to 100%? Because as far as I know, if activate 'Direct Charging' within the Porsche app charging section, the charger (Zappi 2.1) will ignore any charging profiles that are active (for example my '80' profile) and charge the car to full 100% capacity. But here is my question - If I activate Direct Charging in order to get the car to 100%, will that mean the car is still charging on the cheap Ovo 7p per kWh or will Direct Charging mean its essentially like pressing 'Charge Now/Urgent Charge'

I've bought the Indra Pro EV charger second hand as I needed to get one installed on a budget. Unfortunately it did not come with the CT clamp. I can't find any compatible clamp online as I am told they are not all created equal. The companies support won't provide the specs but will sell me one for £50 which is quite spicy and an unexpected blow to my budget. If anyone has the charger could you take a photo of your CT clamp? Perhaps any markings on the side, model or specs. If anyone knows the specs I'd be eternally grateful! I'd like to source this from a third party if possible if I can make a substantial saving.

Hi all,I've had my Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo for a couple of weeks now and have been using the Porsche mobile charger to top it up overnight as well as public chargers to charge the car.However, I had a Zappi 2.1 wall charger fitted yesterday by Ovo. The engineer set up my Charge Anytime app and the MyEnergi app. Then we noticed that within the CA app, it said it was being discontinued and recommended using the new Ovo Charge app. So we I downloaded that and set it up.Now, as I said I'm new to EV's and although the engineer went over everything with me yesterday and gave basic instructions on the Zappi, running through the different functions on the little screen on the box itself, fast forward to the next day and I'm struggling to remember everything he said.........DOH!!! I may be overthinking a lot of this and

I’ve just downloaded the OVO Charge app.  To add myself I had to put in mobile number and get a verification code.  It then it asked me for email address - at this point I had to start again as wasn’t getting anywhere.  It then just worked after I logged in and entered another verificatio code - so I’m not sure if the workflow is doing what it should.Also the loss of the dashboard view is not an improvement.

I have a ‘Pod Point’ Charger which ive set to ‘Manual’ and my BMW X5 50e app to ‘Charge Immediately’ (beware the app seems to set back to a random charging schedule sometimes) and it starts to charge but my OVO App still shows ‘Plug in Vehicle’ for up to 45 minutes meaning that I’m charging on full price rather than 7p/kwh. Any advice please?

I’m just about to get my first EV (Xpeng G6) along with a Sync home charger. I note that on the OVO site that whilst the car is compatible to their charging option the Sync charger isn’t listed on their drop down list. Does anyone use the Sync charger with the OVO deal? If so any comments please.

Since returning from a short break on 19 July every time I have set my car to charge it has charged to 100% no matter what the max was set to in the app.  While this is not a big issue, I normally charge to 80% and feel the system should do what it is meant to do.  Has anyone else experienced similar?  Might it be to do with Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime using up excess energy? 

I’ve got started with Charge Anytime, Indra Smart Pro Gen 2 and Corsa Electric. When first plugged in, charging started. I was able to charge one more time. Now I can’t get it to start. the interaction between The Vauxhall app, the Indra app, and OVO is very unclear. when I try and set a charging schedule in Indra, I get ‘Failed to create schedule…’When I  just plug the car in, I have white flashing lights on the charger. I did also have green flashing lights. As far as I am aware I have not set any other schedule or limits.  What I want to do is charge today, I can wait till OVO wants to start if necessary, but right now the process just seems to be stalled. I’ve disconnected and reconnected.  All and any advice gratefully accepted thanks Jeffrey

 Can anyone make sense of the 556kwh and 602kwh charges for me please ? I have emailed the chargeanytime team 2 times but had no reply. I have only charged my 61kwh car so do not know where them numbers came from. Amy help would be greatly appreciated  

I used ovo anytime from 1st june and app shows I have 25.69 credit for june, but today when I checked my bill update for july it only shows 8.80. When would teh rest of  savings would be added. Anyone have expriences on this 

Hi,I have an MG4.Since Monday I am getting the message in the Charge Anytime app that the car is not connected. As a result I have only been able to charge by using Boost.The charger is online and working fine. Its an Indra Smart Pro. Nether the less I have restarted it and re synced to WiFi just in case I have deleted a reinstalled the app. The car is communicating with the MG4 app.Any suggestions of what else I could try please?Ellie

I have linked my Q4 E-tron to the Charge Anytime app (bypassing the Pod Point app scheduling) but the CA App thinks my car is AWAY when its on the drive.  It can detect the car being charged but I cant find a way of adding my address to the App, although its linked to my OVO Energy account (I assume?).  How can I resolve please?  

Is anyone else having issues with anytime credit noted in the app not being credited in full to their bill. This happened to me in May, Jun and now agin July. Ohme integration was claimed to be the problem for May and Jun but told it was fixed but same again for Jul with circa £25 missing in credit. It took 6 or so calls and 3 complaints raised with a different agent each time before the May issue was resolved. 

My Skoda Enyaq keeps losing the connection to Charge Anytime.  Skoda servers are working and the car is sharing its location in an area of strong wifi next to the Hypervolt charger. How can I make it connect so I can get the cheaper charging?

I got a BMW 330e PHEV in February, and have had continuous problems with charging at home from the start.  Charging will get under way OK, but be interrupted at frequent random intervals, so that I have to reset charging at the car, when charging will restart, only to fail after 2-50 minutes.  The problems occur at any time of day or night.  Details:1    BMW checked the car's charging 2 days ago, and found it free of any fault.  The car's charging control system is being triggered to shut off the supply of power by some change in the quality of the power supplied by OVO.2    interruptions occur whether I supply the power via my Indra Smart Pro charger OR via a 3-pin plug from one of our domestic sockets (using in this case the BMW-supplied Flexible Cable Charger.  So apparently the fault is arising upstream of both my domestic outlets and Indra Smart Pro charger and its separate cabling from the meter box.  As far as I can understand,

Hi. I’ve just signed up for Charge Anytime and everything seems to be working correctly. I’m just not sure what times the lower rate is applied (for example is it between 11pm to 7am). Or is it applied whenever a schedule is active and urgent charge is not used? If I changed the schedule to ensure full charge was reached by say 4pm instead of the default 7am, would the lower rate apply? I can’t find this information anywhere and the call centre didn’t know either.

I have an EV Project charger linked to my SEAT app and OVO Anytime. The SEAT app has been upgraded recently and now it constantly sends notifications to my phone and reports that charging has stopped. Charging is now erratic and unreliable. I had an email some time ago advising that management of the EV Project app was being taken over by another company- has this happened yet?  Many thanks,Chris
