Has anyone received their results for October ???  I hit the max the max target  every month since the start of this, but I haven't heard ANYTHING about the results for October !!!!  Before, we'd get the results almost straight away !!!  I called OVO and I'm definitely signed up for the Power Move (haven't heard anything about the Flex thingy!!!) but no results!!!  I know I hit max target !!!!  Any advice would be appreciated!!!  Thanks !!! I had a boiler service and repair done in September through OVO beyond. Boiler was only providing around 20-30 seconds of hot water at a time and I ended up paying £230 for the flow control to be repaired which fixed the issue. However I now have a leaky boiler (Worcester Greenstar 30i) which is leaking from the front right corner, and a quick Google is suggesting this is also a problem with the flow control system. Therefore I can only really come to the conclusion that the initial repair was either done poorly or incorrectly. Understandably I've been told to turn the water off at the stopcock, but I can't seem to get through to anyone who can get an engineer out to repair it unless I wait until 8am on Monday to make a call. I've been told I can call the Gas Safety numbers but it's have to pay whatever the cost is for an emergency call out and there's no guarantee I'd get that money back/be able to make a claim.From my point of view, the original work wasn't do

Hi,I’ve been advised to movee to Octopus energy, but now I’m having second thoughts.What is the difference between them e,g price?C

We have a Mitsubishi Ecodan pump to do hot water and underfloor heating. Generally we are very happy with it but we're slightly surprised about how quickly the water tank loses heat. Here is a graph - the "room temperature" is actually the temperature of the cupboard that all the kit is all crammed into (it's very small and a tight fight). The house is brand new so is generally very well insulated - should I expect the pump to have to come on every 12 hours or so? Is this normal? Here we didn't use any hot water at all from 8pm to 7am. 

We had our gas supply cut off, meter removed and capped pipes more than a year ago. we have just been told by Cadent that more work is necessary. They need to cut off supply away from the house and that this will involve working on our neighbour’s supply and disturbing their driveway and installing a new meter fro them. Is this a legal requirement? previous involvement with Cadent has not been very good.Any advice will be welcomeBryan Cook

Until September when my account was finally ‘migrated ‘ by OVO, I gave meter readings for the 2 electricity meters in my house by email as the website hadn’t been accessible since July 2023. Both meters on the one account - one serves most of the building, the other a bit added on in 1930. No problems - 2 meter readings, bit like gas and electric but instead 2 x electric. This was set up in about 2012/13.Now I’ve got 2 accounts and one is in debit and the other in credit and they want me to set up a new DD. i am incensed! OVO seem to have lost the plot!

I am currently selling my metered export generation to Scottish Power and wish to move from them to another on the buyer’s list to get a better rate.    I am advised that Scottish Power need to inform the FIT register that my export is now “ negotiated” .I have now been waiting some 3 months for Scottish Power to activate this change and in spite of several complaints have had no joy. My new buyer has had all the relevant paper-work for the transfer which is all in orderAny suggestions as to how to expedite this transfer?

Anybody know who SJN are, and their contact details? They were supposed to come and replace my soon-to-be-obsolete Telemeter on Wednesday. Ovo can only tell me that the electrician from SJN reported that the “client cancelled prior to appointment”. Downright lie. Just spent an hour trying to rearrange this appointment. Soonest is December - given I have been asking OVO to do this since February I’m not happy having to wait another six weeks when I didn’t cancel this appointment. 4 previous appointments were cancelled by OVO as made in error but I was quite hopeful for this appointment, don’t know why.The first OVO rep told me it was SMS who had been asked to come out - I contacted SMS who said they had no record. Called OVO back who said it was a company called SJN (he thought!) but I can’t find any record of them when googling. I’m hoping to contact them direct to book……...SMS would have been happy to book direct with me, had they had my details. 

Have the criteria for the warm home discount changed from last year? Last year I received the WHD (albeit from a different supplier) but this year I’m apparently not eligible despite having lost the WFP. 

Sent email last week to customer service although I got a reply I sent a second email to hello@ovo.com assuming it’s the same department In original email I pointed out that as I have never been able to use app due to THTC meters I can only use online access A smart meter was installed on the 16 th October I notice about 10 days later that as well as the smart meter/IHD displayed the tariffs and standing charge Simultaneously I noticed that the online account is stil increasing the standing charge on a daily basis as well as the smart meter/ ihd  I was told that the online account is halted the day prior to the smart meter being installed  So why the online account still increasing standing charge which in effect produces Two standing charges for the same account Also noticed 10 days later that the online account energy plan was changed from THTC to Economy 9 which is fine but

I have two accounts with OVO, which have been migrated to a new account system.  With the old system, I was able to access my online accounts by using the OVO ID (and password) for each account; however, with the new system, I now need to use my email address (and password).  My problem is that both accounts have the same email address, so I can now only gain access to one of my accounts (in other words, the system associates my email address with only one of the accounts, but not the other). As it stands, I  haven’t been receiving bills since August, so I have no idea how much electricity I have been using. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem, or do I need to supply OVO with a different email address for the second account?  Thank you.   

New smart meter fitted 11th October along with conversion from THTC to Economy 10 but my Ovo account is not showing any readings for heating and two sets of meter readings in Anytime section.

Hi Just wondering if someone can help. Looking at the average household of our size ( 2 / 3 bedroom bungalow) monthly bill for an OVO customer on a google search is £49.00  l am worried that something is wrong when we are paying a monthly direct debit of £480? Any advice. We don’t think we are heavy energy users but our kWh seems inordinately high and has done for a while. 

Can anyone recommend an economical standalone electric heater? We are thinking this would be a better solution for my husband who works from home than turning on the heating.

Flex Eventi am happy to try and take part in these events to help out OVO with its energy usage, plus get a minuscule amount in return, still, it’s better than the previous project. Again, this isn’t always a positive experience. I had a power down event. I was away, therefore the only thing on the house was the smart meter and two fridges. Maybe I need to turn them off to earn £0.15p!!My question is, Why send an email at 7.10am informing me of a Flex Event for a period after the qualifying time of 12.00am - 03.00am. I can’t even try to achieve it!Another great idea OVO.

I signed up with ovo as my gas and electricity supplier when I moved into my flat on 20/1/23. I have the welcome email to say they are my new supplier but it turns out they never switched my supply on the national database. I am now getting bills from the previous supplier of the property (utilita) for thousands of pounds of unpaid gas and electricity. I’ve contacted ovo by phone and chat and they agree that they are not my supplier and the conversation gets ended unresolved. I don't know how to proceed from here but if ovo have not been my suppliers then they owe me 20 monthly payments of £143. I’ve made every payment on time and as far as i was aware my energy bills were all paid but thanks to ovo it is *Removed by Mod*. What do I do next?Many Thanks.

We have a podpoint EV charger installed at home. We are on simple energy tariff with OVO. Can anyone advise the cheapest time to charge my vehicle? We have been advised that our off peak rate for gas and electric is between 12 midnight and 7 am, however when charging my vehicle during this time the rate shown on my smart meter was £1.25 per hour, which seems rather high considering I only got 20 miles charge for 2 hours on my hybrid vehicle 

Hi Everyone, I have been using Ovo long time, pay as use. Last 4 years I have smart meter and last 2 years I am using app to follow what I spend and pay. Everytime I pay more than what I see on the app but some reason every month app shows I have debt from last month! It is weird .  numbers include gas and electrci together. I am aware of increases but it is not about that. August App shows I owe £50 due to usage, I paid in £100.invoice shows £85.September App show I owe £82 due to usage ,I paid in £120 .invoice shows 102 Oct App show I owe £98 due to usage ,I have not paid and invoice is on 24th of Oct and today balance App shows £140 :)  it has been happening last 1 year like that , My usage of month much much less than invoices. I have been thinking maybe I had previous owe but I always use pay as use so not possible.  i felt like their sustem has an issue! Or their hand likes my pocket :) 

Hello,I recently switched to octopus from OVO.I was a pay as go customer for about 6/7 years from when it was SSE and I had a £110 on my in home display meter as balance when the switch happened (the OVO app even says this)I got my final statement through and OVO said "your due a refund" I was like oooh nice I should hopefully get the £110 back as this is what they told me. Opened the statement and apparently I'm only due £48How is this possible? I'm pay as you go, so whatever I have on my meter I've purchased and use in real time.They said that they can see a consumption charge of £50 and a standing charge of £12 which when deducted from the £110 equals £48 (I can do math 😂) this is from the 28 sept to 21 Oct I think they said.I still don't understand though, I don't pay for the last month I used, the next month if that makes sense..if I put the kettle on and it costs £1 then it deductes from the £110... Could someone shed some light

Why does my energy usage not appear in the app some days, sometimes it's 3 or more days behind. Today again the usage for gas and electricity aren't showing. Get fed up keeping phoning up up about it. Years ago at my old house the usuage for the previous day for gas and electricity was in the app first thing in the morning. What's going on now?? 🤷 

I have noticed over the last few days the indra web app is not working, it's just a blank page and nothing loads. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

Feel like if you do the maths on that usage throughout the day, it does not come to 10.22 kWh for that 24 hour period. And I’m seeing the same thing for every day.. either I can’t math good, or somethings wrong here as it appears I’m being charged for way more energy than I use every day

The website today shows the last smart meter readings as 30 September. Last night’s readings should be logged as 1 October. Have the new charges caused a problem? I have SMETS2 electricity and gas meters. It is now 10am on 1 October. My in home display is working.Readings seem to have ceased at 00:30 on 30 September according to the app. 

In August this year I had a smart meter installed and moved from a THTC tariff to the single variable rate tariff. All this went well till the next bill when I’d gone from a balance of -£11 to a credit of £900! It transpires that OVO have changed all my historic bill charges to £0 and the credit of £900 is effectively the monthly direct debits I’ve paid since being moved from SSE to OVO.Support had no idea when I previously phoned last month, other than a note on my account saying it was being investigated, and my attempt this week to get an update led to nothing, the support agent told me he couldn’t escalate it any further and there was no point raising a complaint as it wouldn’t help the process? It felt like the issue sits with the billing team so support were basically saying there’s nothing they can do and no-one they can contact for assistance. My issue is that I have no idea what my correct ongoing balance is and there seems to be no process to get any escalati

Finally after more than a year I have been migrated onto the new system. The result?Smart meter is no longer being read.There is no billing history or usage from my 12 odd years with OVO.Online dashboard doesn’t have facility to enter two readings (I have economy 7 contract) and I have to give readings manually via chat facility.I reported this to OVO via chat to give last month’s readings, was asked to supply various bits of information (WAN and HAN rate for instance) which I duly did. That was over 2 weeks ago and apart from an automated resonse I have heard nothing.
