Hello, I bought a house in November but haven’t fully moved in until recently. I need to put the gas & electric meters in my name because although I can top up the electricity meter with the precious owner’s card, it will not let me do this with the gas meter. I gas meter is now in debit so will need to pay that. It is extremely difficult to get through to anyone on the phone and there seems to be no options to deal with this online. I am fed up of being without gas. I need advice please on the quickest and easiest way to go about this, and how long should the switch over take? Thanks.

I sent the following complaint about three weeks ago, with details of what I expect from OVO.I have had no communication from OVO since my electricity supply was moved to OVO, other than from the Smart Home team I have received no welcome pack I have been told my tariff rates verbally, by Customer Service. But I have no official confirmation of that, by email, post, or in any other form. I have been told by the smart home team that my supply from OVO started on 29-June-2023. However, my previous Octopus account shows no usage after midnight GMT on26-June-2023 (01:00 on 27-June-2023). I have phoned your Customer Service number three times. The first two calls failed, because the calls were dropped while I was waiting for a response. Still waiting for my account to migrated across to a newer system which is now taken over 6 months🙄. My contract runs out next month would it be quicker to leave OVO go to another supplier and then return ?

So I've been chosen to take part in the new Power Flex.I've had no problem hitting targets on the Power Move and the Power Move Plus but not so sure about this one.If it's anything like the past Power Move Plus eventsit seems counter intuitive to try to use more electricity for such little rewards.

Hi, Does anyone know what physical work with the electrics is required to set up a BNO please?  This is a recommendation from the DNO (SSEN) to change one 3 phase meter and 7 submeters to have 7 individually supplied meters...But I’m struggling to find a clear explanation of how this works in operation online!Thanks so much,Peter

 I didn't think I would be able to achieve Spring power move because it cuts into my Dinner time. But looks like it's all fine. I have dual tarrif, so I set my water boiler & room heating to kick in during the off-peak periods. Also try to get things like washing (and sometimes drying) during night so that it finishes by 6 am in the morning.  Only hard bit is moving my dinner times after 9 pm, which means late dinner, late sleep.

Hello, Recently switched to Ovo from Eon.I have said from the start that I'm sight impaired and require an accessible in home display. Ovo have sent me out a normal display, not an accessible one.🙄 I have emailed three times & received no response.  I have an AIHD here from Eon & it now says Ovo on it. Can I just keep using this one, or do I need to have been given one from Ovo? Why does it take 6 weeks to put me ontoPayg? Thanks

Hello, been with OVO many years, and since you changed the name if the feature to Energy Insights in October 2023, this feature does not show my appliance usage 

OVO are trying to take over my energy supply, I have never been in contact with them, nor authorised this, at present I am an EDF Customer, and I have unfortunately been a victim of Identity fraud this month.  However, I have put a password on all credit accounts, notified CIFAS, the police and action fraud.The financial ombudsman are also taking on my case, your urgent attention / response would be really appreciated.I have also this evening emailed OVO complaints email, as this only came to my attention today by post from my current supplier.Many thanks.

DD amount advise continually unavailable, is it just me?

Problem: No other information such as Load Consumption and Grid Import/Export. I read various manual and yet cannot apply all of them because there are not found in the settings of the inverter (more details below). Question:Is the firmware of the inverter causing the problem? If it is the firmware, how can I be able to update the firmware? If not the firmware, are there other solution without buying external smart energy monitoring devices?  Known settings and parameters:Inverter: Solis 1P5K-4G, Obtained around the year 2019, around June to October. Inverter was used with Limiter (LimByEPM) then now we have Net Metering installed (Generating). When I open my billing page, I’m often asked “How easy is it to understand your bill?”, which I usually answer with ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.  I was reminded of this when I recently had a message from an acquaintance ‘over there’, who was bragging about getting a negative bill for electricity for the first time since installing a solar PV array last year. He has gas central heating. Is there anyone who has managed to get ovo to correct meter readings.Thought this was sorted in January when a refund cheque was sent to me.Then march a new bill.Left ovo in Oct 2023.Or do I just let them try and take me to court.Don't answer complaints.Never give  complaint number.At a loss of where to go next.

Ok wonder if anyone is having same issiei have had my Indra pro for 6 months. Always been on Ovo anytime. Have 2 EVs. And charge them both when needed generally using a schedule of 8am for which ever is plugged on however for the last week or so, one car will charge fine , and receive a full 7kw at Ovos discretion and be charged in the morning the other will not. It sits at 1kw charging. If I manually override the schedule it will go immediately to 7kw. So that proves the car and charger are working fine in  unison. But switching back to schedule and leave it overnight it’s just not charged in the morning and I have to charge on public chargers on that car while out and about. But the other car works fine this only started around ten days ago any thoughts

Hi there,Obviously this electricity set-up looks pretty old. If at all possible to get an indication from photos, I'd like to know if it'd probably be straightforward to swap over the older style meter to a smart meter. This current set up works fine, no problem, but I'm concerned that the age of it all might mean further works have to be done before an install can take place, adding time and cost.I'm also concerned that older materials can contain asbestos. The area is surrounded by a painted, paper-lined plasterboard. The main fuse & meter are mounted on to a dark coloured board (not sure what it is) and the fuse box (switches) is fixed onto a light coloured board of unknown material. Then behind all of that is a light coloured surface which appears porous...again, can't tell what that is.Does any of this look like it might be an issue or does it look likely that it's ok to proceed with meter replacement?I'd really welcome some help please. T
