Smart meters

Good morning. Ever since I've had my Smart Meters installed, my IHD has definitely been showing incorrect rates, even if you take into account that it shows VAT and My Ovo doesn't. How do I get this corrected on the IHD so the estimated spend figures in £ are correct? Under Electricity on the IHD the tariff is 'NEWENERGY' and Gas is 'Ovo Variable'.

I had a smart meter fitted on the 25th January and seems to work fine up until yesterday and now the clock is running 1 hour and 40 minutes slow. Is there any way of changing the time on it? I’ve got the Chameleon device

My Chameleon In Home Display (IHD) is only displaying my gas usage and not electricity. Signal is good and everything else is working ok but electricity usage is not showing. Any ideas please 

We had an engineer come round to fit gas and electricity smart meters. He couldn't fit the gas one, because the supply was the wrong pressure.He promised an engineer would come within 2-3 months. Or so.More than a year has elapsed. Who do I speak to?

I was very disappointed with OVO when I had a smart meter installed and that they did not test the strength of the wireless signal it uses. When I complained that as its not working and after trying various proccedures etc etc still nothing. When I asked the meter be removed I was told once its in its in! I Decided I was Not accepting that as the signal clearly was the issue. I contacted my local MP and after explaining what had happened my MP acted very quickly and arranged directly with OVO’s High Level Customer Complaints Team to get someone out to test and do their checks and then 2 weeks after I complained the Smart Meter was changed for a non smart meter and since then I have had no more wireless or mobile signal problems. Even when another part of the OVO family sent me a letter saying that they couldn't see my smart meter, again I had to call them and asked them to read my notes and complained. They finally admitted defeat and apologised for the inconven

Hi, I have moved house and I want to read the meter but I have no pin, how do I get a new pin and get the meter brought up to date? It is still showing the previous owners value of usage for gas and electric. Thanks

I had a gas & electric smart meter fitted about 3 weeks ago. Since then my outside gas meter makes a really loud noise every time the gas switches on, surely this can't be correct?  

Does the smart meter recognise the electricity I return to the grid through my solar panels?

If I was to move over to OVO and have a smart meter installed, where does it get installed? Will it be inside or can I have it outside? I don't want a smart meter installed inside my home because of negative effects on health that have been reported. Please let me know, thanks. 

Hi Ovo, Our gas supply suddenly cut out last week and the helpful Ovo support line worked out that our smart meter battery had run out after just 1 year! They came and changed it and everything seemed great. Today I've had a phone bill for £40!! For speaking to Ovo for 15 minutes!!! This is horrendous Ovo!! It wasn't our fault a battery said to last 10 years lasted just 1!! Shocked.
