My OVO energy

We have the smart meter installed few months ago, I always keep an eye on the cost of the electricity we have used by midnight till the meter switch off automatically, it not matching with the daily usage in the BillsI do consider the standard daily charge which is: (00:64P)to be honest I did switch everything off all day and night in the house, still £2:35   ???Also, Is the VAT included or excluded on the displayed cost of electricity, if excluded is it 5% ?if it is 5%  still not matching.    

I am thinking about switching to OVO from Octopus but I have a deficit of about £300 currently. Can I switch the deficit to OVO? If OVO agrees with Octopus to take on the debt then why not?

Is the Power Move Flex finished now? Haven't had any this month 

I have an exotic meter and I have migrated from SSE to OVO. How do I go about switching to another energy supplier? 

Can you explain why you taken £88 from my account after you confirmed I am switching away last Friday?????My balance with you is over 200£ and I need my money back!!!!  Do you think this is fair?????

I currently have a non smart, digital electric meter with day and night readings, albeit with a single rate. I’m about to request a smart meter and have been advised that if I want to only have to deal with a single reading I need to get my profile class changed from “02” to “01”. How do I go about getting this done and what order do I follow, eg, get the smart meter installed first then request the profile change or request the profile change first (or at the same time as getting the smart meter installed)?

I got moved to Ovo via their purchase of Southern Electric. I used to pay Southern Electric quarterly via credit card (after bill received)I’ve just discovered seems every month I've not paid (in a qtr) Ovo have reported me to credit reference agencies as missed payments. (what a wonderful experience they give)I’ve now paid and setup a Direct Debit (did try to do this end last year, still can’t get access via Ovo App as Ovo still not sorted account transfers from Southern, and couldn’t setup online as Ovo have diff default address of a different account defualting against Direct Debit bank a/c which made setup fail) How do I get Ovo to remove those missed payment reports from the credit agencies urgently? Its going to cost me thousands in borrowing costs.

Hello,The property I bought last year had a THTC meter and storage heaters, so the first thing I did was rip out the storage heaters and pull out the whole heating ring main as part of a full rewrite that was needed. So nothing connected to the THTC meter.I contacted SSE multiple times to try to get an appointment to remove the THTC meter but they kept saying there were no engineers in my area (North of Scotland) to do the work. Tried time and time again, and even got a work order number, but still no engineer. Eventually my electrician just pulled the meter off, taking pictures of course! Still got the meter with all the tags intact, etc.The meter reader was round recently and noted that the meter was gone and took pictures, noted it down in his records, etc. but still got bill with THTC meter estimate.Called Ovo to try and get the meter removed from my account but best they said they could do was to put me on to a single rate tariff.This has

We have just bought a new home in the Highlands and it has THTC supplied by OVO ( previously SSE I believe). For some reason that I don't  fully understand it has 3 meters. One standard and two for the THTC.When I contacted OVO to set up my account they were adamant that there was only the standard meter and could only offer me a standard tariff with one rate. So no benefit for the storage heating etc wired up to the THTC.When I signed in to my account it is showing 2 meters the standard and one of the THTC one but all still on the same tariff.I checked with the previous owner and he supplied OVO with 3 meter readings when he left. He also said that OVO were due to change the meters but had failed to make an appointment.My questions are1. How do I get OVO to acknowledge there is a third meter here?2. Shouldn't OVO be offering a tariff for the HTHC set up.3. Can I switch to another supplier with the current set up to get a suitable tar

We have built a new house and when it started out SES were our supplier. They specified 3 phase power at 200amp per phase requiring a CT 5 meter. Since the 26th March I have been unsuccessful in having one installed because a DO142 Flow form has not been submitted to the contractor who install this type of meter. Even the Advanved Resolution Specialists have been unable to get one issued or get any feed back from the Metering Team who supply the Flow instructions. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution? My email to the Ops Director has gone unanswered. 

I have a THTC meter and a DOM meter, two meters. One is for hot water and the other for electricity.Which meter is for the water? Is it the one labelled THTC or the one labelled DOM? Also, if the DOM is the water and the THTC is the electric, when I switch off the water heater, why doesn’t the DOM stop running? THe DOM meter continues to run and is the Anytime meter reading I have to give .The THTC is the heating meter according to my OVO account.

I have 3 x flats that have just the one meter supplied by Ovo.I want to split into 3 x meters by Ovo. I want to avoid using power networks and getting in a 3 phase supply as they are suggestingcan this be done?the supply is already going to all 3 so its about metering although i don’t want private meters, I would like 2 separate accounts for the tenants to pay themselves.

The meter EDMF GS60-B is locked on this message  “Performing Key Establishment”??Nobody seems to know what this means??Any help will be most appreciated. Henry.

I just noticed my IHD screen was lit up, so went over to have a look and found this message: Which is a bit of a surprise as I'm on the 1-year Fixed Loyalty plan and pay by Direct Debit.So of course I haven’t tried to make any kind of top up, and I don’t see how it’s even possible that anyone could make a mistake and try to top up my not-prepay meter?I will note that my DD was due yesterday so being a Saturday it won’t be taken until Monday, but that happens now and again and I’ve never had such a message before.Once I had closed that message there was no sign of anything else unusual anywhere on the IHD.Is anybody else getting strange messages today?

Is OVO going to be available to Ausgrid consumers in Sydney NSW any time soon?

HiI am very conscious of the electricity I use, long before Power Move. I use my washing machine in the morning so I can hang out the clothes early and get them dry. I’ve never had a tumble drier. I use my dish washer at night as the eco wash takes nearly three hours. I usually start making dinner after 7pm and only use the TV or radio between 4.00 and 7.00. I never leave the TV on standby but switch it off at the plug. Recently, with the better weather, I’ve been outside more at this time so not using any electricity other than fridge. Despite all this, I have never been successful in a Power Move period.So, I ask, is this worth it?? 

Hi,I am currently on the 1 year fixed loyalty contract for both gas and electricity, having been with OVO for around 4 years prior.I am looking into possibly leaving to go to another provider, for cheaper rates relating to EV cars…Can i remain with OVO on just my Gas contract , or do i need to pay to leave both Gas and Electricity?It just says £75 to leave under each, so i assume i can leave just one, ie electricity and pay £75 and not £150 for both...ThanksTHS

Can anyone inform me of my off peak hours?I'm on pre payment meter so I suspect they're little different to a contract, I imagine I am being ripped off by getting less hours or later start times 

Been on  a Payg gas metre with SSE now OVO. Twice now since OVO took over had email saying I'm using gas and not paying. Last email saying I owe money, even though metre in credit.Now the funny part is, my gas isn't even on! I'm not living in the property, Gas boiler doesn't work and I have it switched off at the metre. So I only need to top it up on the card here and there to cover the standing charge. I phoned helpdesk both times and was told to ignore the email, but why is this even happening?It seems to me the system doesn't like the fact I'm not using gas, so assumes that I must be and just makes something up out of literally nothing. Please please 🙏 OVO can you sort yourselves out!! If it happens again, I'm seriously thinking about just permanent disconnect. And or switching to another company. Seems like I'm not the only one on PAYG that has these problems. 

Hi, last year I was automatically changed from SSE to OVO. I've never created a online account, I tried months ago but during the sign up process i got some kind of error message, my details didn't match. I've tried signing up with multiple account numbers, I share the flat with my brother and although both names are on the account (letters) i seems to have different account numbers on various letters, I have tried the account number that was on a old sse letter too . Anyhow, I'm moving out this upcoming Wednesday and I read as I have smart meters I can tell OVO online and it's a simple process. But I can't create a account to do this. I'm worried when I move out I will continue to be charged and stuff. I've got so much to do between now and Wednesday I can't afford to be waiting for ages on hold over the phone and if I was to ring I don't even know what account number is linked to my meters (account) it's probably made more confusing as me
