I have had the Indra Charger just over a year, initially it had problems with connectivity, an engineer came out and decided to change the unit as he thought it was faulty, the new unit has worked mostly for 9 months with a few times of going off line and needing a reboot.  It is connected to cell signal not to wifi or ethernet.The unit went off line three weeks ago now and has not re connected, I have tried to raise requests with Indra, I seem to get an initial response and then it disappears into a black hole.  Have tried ringing several times but never seem to get through the queue so it is impossible to speak to anyone.Is anyone else having similar issues?

As you will see in the 1st some sections they didn’t even bother to peel off the adhesive ply. 

I have read several comments, and it seems that like me, many are frustrated with the fact we never achieve our target!  I don’t use a washing machine at peak times, I only use the oven perhaps once a week for less than 30 mins, I often delay firing up the  central heating so the pump is not pulling power, and we watch TV with one small table light on.  How much more do I have to switch off?  It’s a big con!

Hello Today out of the blue I had someone from Marston holdings engage services turn up for a safety inspection of my metering equipment. I was not expecting anyone and just thought it was someone trying to sell something, as they left they put a letter through the door. The letter states that I am now a customer of boost energy, i am with OVO energy and that I apparently received a welcome letter which was previously sent - i have received no letters and no notice of any appointment to carry out safety inspection of my metering equipment - I am a pre payment customer. I do not want a smart meter and am happy as I am . What do engage services of Marston holdings do? On the account number on my letter in ends with the word reco? I am confused.

Hi,New customer here, trying to sign up for Charge Anytime but the app launches to a black screen and does nothing. I’ve tried the usual uninstall, restart, try different device etc but all with no result.  Emailed the Charge Anytime mailbox last week but no answer as of yet.  Anyone else had this issue and suggestions to fix? Cheers

HiI have an Ecodan QUHZ-W40VA with a thermal store. After much technical assistance from Mitsuibishi, some installation tweaks and fine tuning by me, the system o/a is performing well. The COP is acceptable, the running costs are low and generally I’d say setup suits the house.Like other heat pumps, mine prioritises DHW. It’s programmed to heat the water once each day. The problem is that I have an experienced a delay before the the heat pump fires up after DHW cycles?The DHW (in my case the water in the store) is usually heated to around 50C. but the HP won’t re-start until the residual heat in the system (according to the thermistors) has dropped to match the heat flow temperature. For example if the flow heat temperature is say 30C or less, the cooling can take a very long time. It’s less a problem when it’s very cold, and more so in the shoulder seasons. Has any one else experienced this? I have not received an end of month email to let me know if I made it this month. I had one halfway through saying how well I was doing at just over 10% nothing showing on my bill ???

On the last 2 power move plus I have been advised that I've not sent the relevant meter readings & that i should get a smart meter.This is odd as I have a smart meter which has never had any issues & is showing precise usage. Is anyone else having the same problem?Its disappointing as I have the efforts to try to reduce my consumption & initially I recieved a couple of payments.Sincerely    

I am due to move into a new house in two days time. I have had money taken out of my bank account from Boost but i don’t have an account with them. I will be contacting my bank once the payment comes out of pending, to say this is unauthorised. I believe it may have been set up by the housing agent without my authority. Can they do this? Can Boost set up an account without my consent and without sending me any paperwork or account information? Unfortunately due to it being Saturday i can’t contact the housing agent or Boost as it’s now after 5pm.

what sort of time table should i be using to save money

On OVO app there is no longer the ability to see your useage in £’s in daily useage only kWh. Find this very disappointing, anyone else annoyed by this 

Hello everyone,  I hope you’re all having a nice day, Having recently been moved over automatically from SSE PAYG to Ovo Energy PAYG I received my welcome letter dated 2 August 2023, it stated my move was complete so I thought I’d give them a call to confirm a few details, like making sure I’m still registered with priority service, that I can I top up my electric key at paypoint without any issues etc, generally get some more information I needed in regards to my specific concerns. Yesterday in my 1st call using 0330 303 5063 I got from google search, I got told that my “account is still pending”, 5 days after welcome letter saying everything complete & ready, today I tried webchat for an update & to get more information, they told me they couldn’t access my account & to phone 0330 175 9669 as web chat is not available/set up at the moment for prepayment meter customers like myself (not very good is it?), so I called them on that number, 18 m

Hi, I’ve been reading the thread about solar panels and THTC. This may be asking for a repeat of some of what’s been said but I’m totally new to this, so sorry…I’ve been offered solar panels and storage battery via some government funding that’s available at the moment, so free to me incl installation. I have two meters. (One is THTC that was.) From what I’ve been reading it sounds like if I go ahead with installation there is no point, indeed possible danger, of connecting the panels to the THTC meter.But could they be connected to the meter to impact on the rest of the electricity (lighting, cooker etc) ? And could/would excess electricity once battery full, eg summer, go back into the grid (while it would be nice to receive money for it, I’m not so concerned about that) via that meter ? I know this not the best option as the other meter is obviously measuring much greater electric usage, but is this a way at the moment to at least allow solar panels to h

Like many other customers I am unable to see my usage in pounds as I could some time ago. This is very inconvenient as a pensioner I keep a close eye on my usage. I have contacted customer service via phone, chat etc to no avail, all they say is that it’s been passed to the technical team who will ring me!! They haven’t and it’s been a long time now. Any suggestions?

Great news that the Anytime tariff has reduced today from 10p to 7p.  However the Ohme Pro App won’t let me change this. When I select “My Energy” in the Ohme Pro app and select “Change” to alter the unit rate (which I had set at 10p when I first got the app), it says “to switch your smart tariff you’ll need to go to your supplier’s app or contact your supplier directly.  Once that’s sorted, come back here to add your new tariff”.  My tariff has obviously changed automatically by OVO, so not sure what else they can do, unless they need to advise Ohme themselves?

About a year ago I saw an American portable solar panelled battery that looked like suitcase trolley when closed but open the panels and it could store about 3kw of solar. Any idea what it was called? Can I still get it? I seem to recall that the name was Waco or similar.Can OVO help with self home generation without stick a load of panels etc on my roof?I have no gas, no boiler, no servicing, no water filled radiators. Can’t have a heat pump. Have no emissions. Is this the way to go? Free home generated electricity, yes please.I have a hybrid EV. £34 petrol on 14th March, 319 miles of range.Today I have 304 miles of range with 487 miles covered and a free charge at supermarket.Beat it???

I can't put in to words how fizzing I am with anger!! At approximately 7:30am this morning (a Sunday), we lost power to our home. We called out an electrician who identified the issue as being the metering equipment by the main feed into the house. After a discussion with Electricity North West, we identified that the equipment is the responsibility of the supplier - Ovo. We have a child with significant additional needs and we needed this resolving ASAP. After checking the Ovo website, I gave the Customer Services number a call, and was returned with "Thanks for calling Ovo. We record all our calls etc. We're currently closed. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8:00am etc etc" So I then tried the emergency contacts provided on the website. Both useless. I retried Electricity North West who said they had a number for Ovo that they could put me through to. Great I thought, until they put me through and I go

How do solar panels work with the two meters that I have which are called total heat total control? Can anyone explain how it works and how they fit it to the meters?  

I am not very sure how to achieve this Power Move Flex. I just got my first Power Move Flex Task and it's to reduce usage during 6 pm to 8 pm. I am not sure how to achieve this. My usage during this period is 0.09 to 0.18 kWh. That's from my refrigerator, and may be some bulbs. There is nothing more to reduce here.    And how exactly does this work? Am I supposed to reduce my usage from previous day or average of previous week? Or should I reduce it based on usage of the whole day? 

Hi,Can I set the Mitsubishi Ecodan (underfloor heating) so that only the pump operates without heating? When the heating is off, I would like the Ecodan to occasionally circulate the water in the underfloor heating system (without heating) because the floors on the first floor are warmer than those on the ground floor.

I ask this because in my experience they never do. In fact they’re usually out the door in less than 20 minutes. Enough time to do a basic function and safety check. That’s it.Before I took out the cover I did it myself, and it will need doing again. Most boiler manufactures advise expansion vessels to be re-pressurised at least once a year. I previously made the mistake of allowing techs to fob me off about a small weep from my drain valve. I knew this was wrong but it kind of encouraged me to stupidly keep topping up the pressure every couple of months. Eventually the weep became a heavy leak and my entire manifold had to be replaced.  The cover is great and gives me peace of mind, but the lack of proper maintenance is a bit of a disappointment.  

I have been sent this statement [as well as two previous] as proof that the system is working. Page 2 is blank except for the header and footer. There is no address  or meter number to link to the property. Is that normal? Also this is supposed to be a years statement ie. to March 2024 but  is titled to March 23. Surely there would not be a ‘misprint’! The readings suggest one year. Hope it’s legible, my editing to mask some info. Photo of meter recently sent also attached. Thanks. 

Hi i am looking for some advise as Ovo are being completely unhelpful. I am dealing with my mothers estate as she passed away in September 2023.  I have all of the companies that my mother dealt with and have had all accounts put into my name as I am the executer.  We have been receiving demands from Ovo Energy for an outstanding gas balance that does not belong to us.  My mother lived in a block of 12 flats - our supplier has always been Scottish Gas.Our lawyer has been contacted now by Ovo advising we have to pay over £2000 from my mothers estate as the bills are outstanding.We have supplied photos of the gas meter at the property which do not tie in with the one Ovo is billing us from and I have contacted Scottish Gas who have sent us a code to confirm they are the supplier.I am now feeling stuck as Ovo will not accept that this is not my mothers bill.  Whilst this issue is with the lawyer (phone calls from Ovo to there office) the matter is now
