Ohme charger and a Genesis GV60

So….I clearly should have spent time reading this forum instead assuming the OVO offers wouldn’t be so restrictive. I am having an Ohme Pod installed next week and recently changed from a Tesla to a Genesis GV60. I’ve just gone to complete the form to take advantage of the Charge Anytime offer in the app and have now discovered (after arriving here and reading a couple of posts) that I have possibly the most completely incompatible charger and vehicle combo! I chose Ohme as I have to have a specific brand as it will be linked to an Allstar account.
Unless I am being really dumb, can anyone kindly confirm that there is no way I’m going to be able to access the discounted rate? My charger is also being installed on the 15th, which seems to be the cutoff date also??

TBH… Unless having that Allstar integration is absolutely critical, I’d suggest you cancel the Ohme charger order and switch to one of the supported brands - Indra, Hypervolt, Andersen, Zappi, evec or NexBlue.

The ability to pair an Ohme charger is already disabled (and has been for over a month) and Genesis is causing issues where linking isn’t working reliably at this time.

Unless you absolutely MUST have the convenience of that Allstar integration and can’t possibly use other methods, you’re probably better off using a different charger.

Thanks for responding. I have to use Allstar as it’s a company vehicle. If I get one of the chargers you’ve kindly listed, will this give me access to the reduced cost per kWh even with the Genesis?

I agree with ​@Blastoise186. You either need a compatible car or charger and these have been listed above and they will give you access to the discounted Charge Anytime rates. I can't say if one of those is better than any other but the Hypervolt appears to be the most popular. You may get a second opinion on that at some point.

Based on the data the Charge Anytime team are seeing, Hypervolt is the most reliable out of all the Charger integrations so far - it’s possibly even the most reliable integration out of the entire stack outright! So I can definitely recommend it based on that and the threads we see on the Forum.

All the others work well too, but we don’t have much info on Andersen, Zappi, NexBlue or evec yet because we’ve hardly ever seen anyone on the Forum mention them.

And yes, using the Charger route means you can use ANY EV you want with Charge Anytime - even a Genesis which isn’t compatible by itself.
