The agency told me that I have a sub meter for my flat and that I have to give the meter reading to the neighbour downstairs (main meter), so that I am billed accordingly. But they have a top-up smart meter for their electricity. Currently, my flat is consuming their credit and I don’t know how I can compute how much I have to pay. I’m planning to ask the agency to give us separate electricity bills so its convenient. Is this easy to do? Do I need to do anything or is this the agency’s responsibilities? What can I do so that they go ahead with giving us separate electricity bills?

No economy 7 power coming from the consumer box.

Just joined this Forum. I have THTC running storage heaters, one of which is now beyond repair so need to replace it with something. I am told by OVO there is no current (sorry for the pun) solution. Is it not possible for new, modern heaters to work with THTC? I am relieved to find from this Forum that I am not the only one with this problem.

Hi all, I wanted to query if this is normal behaviour. My Ecodan Hot Water is set up to to heat to 50c kicking back in only after a 10c drop. I am looking to try and see if I can get the most out of my cheap EV charging rate (2-5am) and heat the water for the day using this timeframe. One thing that that I have noticed however is that even after a short 5-7 minute shower I see huge temperature drops from the tank (45c to 20c). There are only 2 occupants in the home and we average 2 showers in total daily as well as running dishwasher and washing machine every 2 days. A.)Is it reasonable to think I can heat the tank once a day in the early morning and have sufficient hot water for the day?B.) Is it normal to see such large temperature drops in the tank when hot water is in use

Will the smart meter readings and the usage chart on the OVO website both go back an hour at the end of October?

Until recently, my Chameleon IHD used to show a standing charge.  I went through it a couple of days ago, and it has stopped showing this.  The meter still identifies a charge of 50.5p per day.  I had heard somewhere that standing charges were to be banned for prepayment customers, and was wondering if that applies to credit meter accounts too.  

Reading about radio signal shutdown ending some economy 7 meters but struggling to find out how to get a new one as have a snart meter already but struggling as accidentally deleted some emails with ovo. Seem to be a delay on getting a new one. As have solar panels with FIT looking at VAT free battery storage to help with winter heating when limited solar. Cheers for time and help. 

So I have a BMW 330e and a hypervolt 3 (Installed by OVO). My issue is, with my granny charger my car would charge fine and I would receive the credit from charge anytime as my car would only charge when the grid is at its greenest. Now I have an actual EV charger, the charge anytime app doesn’t work like It did, It sometimes gives me credit, it sometimes gives me part credit from a charge and other times I pay full whack for the entire charge… I don’t have a clue what is happening and I have checked every setting I can possible think of and see but nothing I do seems to fix this.  I'’m fully aware that the hypervolt charger cannot connect to charge anytime currently unlike say Ohme, however I have a compatible EV/Car which worked perfectly fine before. 

Just had a new smart meter fitted, Kaifa MA120 with a Toshiba top.since it was fitted I have been having trouble with my Harvi & Zappi car charger,I had a Grid CT lost error code come up. I’ve re installed Harvi on channel 1 & it worked for a while but again got CT code, I’ve now moved Harvi to channel 3 & appears to be ok.anone else had problems with there Harvi/Zappi set up since Smart meter install?cheers 

Hello Everyone,I’m asking if there is someone on here who can help me to navigate my way to working all these things to my best advantage. I have solar panels, a 4.8KW storage battery and an electric vehicle. Last October I signed up for the Power Move scheme which has been great and I have managed to reach the maximum £15 every month.Now that we are coming into the Spring which brings more daylight hours and more sunshine hopefully I’m trying to work out the best way to maximise all these things. Last summer I was able to run my EV almost completely from charging it in the daytime from solar generation alone (I work part time so am at home a lot so can plug it in once my battery has fully charged), but I realise now that that does not help my statistics to benefit from Power Move. I realise the peak hours for Power Move change from 4-7pm to 6-9pm in April.All you clever analytical people with your spread sheets - would I do better to not charge my car from sola

Hi All,I have a Jaguar iPace with the Ohme ePod charger which I have been told will still work once Jaguar lockdown their API preventing Anytime charging in the normal way.I tried last night and again tonight and the only way I can get the car to charge is via the “Charge to full ASAP” I have tried to set a schedule but the car just says “initialising” the jaguar app has no schedule setI am missing something - BTW I deleted my Anytime account and re-open it under the Ohme and not the Jaguar.Thanks 

Starting a new conversation because I can’t find any info on the forum about this.I have recently had an Ohme Home Pro EV charge point installed and signed up for the Charge Anytime add-on. I’ve been monitoring the Charge Anytime credits that have been applied to my account and they don’t seem to match the kWh consumption that is being reported in the Ohme app. I think everything is set up correctly and some Ovo credits have been applied, but the usage doesn’t look very much like what the Ohme app says I’ve used - my Ovo account is either missing some smart charging sessions or the smart charging kWh for each session are being underreported. I appreciate that there may be some delay between the chargepoint reporting the session and Ovo applying the charge credits, but Its been 4 days since I last plugged in and things have not caught up.So the question for anyone with a similar setup is - how accurately do the Charge Anytime consumption figures match those that are rep

Only just started using charge anytime and I am confused! Tried charging at 50% to be ready next day @ 7.00 but only got to 70%, so am I doing something wrong? I have the Ohme pro! Tia

I have a GEO TRIO Touchbutton IHD connected to my smart meters. My tariff involves both day and night rates for electricity but I am unable to figure out how to see the different usages and meter readings for these on the IHD - I can only see a total electricity usage. I can see the two different rates directly on the smart meter and they are also visible on my on-line account. They are just not visible on the IHD - I’ve tried getting OVO to rectify this but no success so far. Any had a similar problem?

Hello, so can some explain why ovo anytime is limited to so few home charger units.  My chargers company has tried to reach out but the list is still 2or3 acceptable chargers.  Surly the cars app and the 1/2 hourly meter reads would suffice anyway. Do I have to move to octopus 🐙

We are in the process of purchasing an EV and having a charger installed at home. Our consumer unit and electric meter are under the stairs adjacent to the driveway where we would like the charging point installed. We have a 1930s house, are we likely to need additional work done by an electrician, or would OVO be able to install this?

OVO charge anytime  I have been using charge anytime for the past week and was led to believe that when you connect the charger it doesn’t automatically charge straight away, but everytime I have connected the charger the car has started charging immediately  is this the norm?

Hi, we recently installed the solis inverter. However on the app it’s not showing any details other than the energy produced. We have smart meter installed as well. I don’t see the below block at all as in the user manual.  

I need to get a report of the kWh used to charge my car for my companies records. How can I get this?

Contacted OVO do NOT call me, text or send letters about installing a Smart meter several times.Asked for this information to be on data base NEVER to contact me again regarding this as i will NOT be having one installed until it is a LEGAL requirement.Even after all this they still bully and harass me by telephone, texting and making appoinments i do NOT want.HOW DO I STOP THIS?
