Kalzo App?
Did you delete the old car from the Charge Anytime App before adding the new car?
Yes, thank you, I also altered it on the Kalzo app.
The handbook on the car is the size of war and peace, I spent sometime with that and then decided to go into my OVO and add car and delete old car, did the app,
then plugged in, car comes up on app as Subaru SolTerra OK with right size battery.
Checked on anytime and charger is Indra Pro Plus, car not listed but nor was the last one, it OVO site say only one needs to be correct.
Now a little stumped. Cheers.
If the battery size is correct, you should be good.
Can I just clarify which Apps you are using?
I'm assuming you are setting your charge schedule in the My OVO App and not their Charge Anytime App?
.... and you are not setting any schedules in the Indra App
Everything is via Kaluza or how ever one spells it, I was told not to use the app but to keep with the web. Worked fine on my SsangYong but this is a Subaru/Toyota/ Lexus. Which I have not set up within the car as with the SsangYong I was told to only set times etc for charge any time on the Kaluza we’d, it is not an app.
Thank you, will now try and get to grips with the war and peace handbook!
Not yet found anything useful, many thanks for trying.
I have just checked again, the app is called app.Indra.co.Uk
It now says plugged in for 18 hours 40 mins
then Ready to go! No charge registered.
cheers everyone,
Thank you.
Clear any charge settings in the Indra app so it is just acting as a dumb charger and also check their is no trace of your old car in the Indra App.
My wild guess is the Indra charger still thinks it is talking to the old car?
Thanks speuk,
I have got into the Subaru set up and nothing is set up.
When talking to Indra when doing the charge anytime I was informed that only the Indra Kalzo should be set.
I will do as you say and have another go, I obviously do not want to loose anytime at 7p kWh !
Cheers Nick
Hey @Nick Challacombe,
Have you had any luck?
If not, I’d advise emailing the team at smarthome@ovoenergy.com.
Thank you Emmanuelle, I have talked to charged ev who have raised a “ticket” at Indra who should be ‘phoning me. The chargedev think it is probably a software problem which they may sort out remotely. A Mitch or Quin should phone from Indra.
Could you tell me if BOOST is charged at normal household rates 29.25 ? That a least works! If all else fails.
Kind regards.

Hello again Emmanuelle,
No body came back from Indra but the good news is that they have, it seems, solved my problem. For the first time ever the new car is charging from Solar which the previous car never did. I ‘phoned Indra to see what they had done and it was a software update which also picked up the lack of Solar. When the sun goes down or my battery empties then hopefully I will be on OVO Charge any time.
Told not to do any setting on the new car leave it to the app which I am happy with as running the last EV for a year I had no problem by not using it timer schedule.
I will now get round to reading the three volume's of War and Peace which is Subaru/Toyota/Lexus as all the cars are badge engineered and have very little mechanical difference except the Subaru is 4 x 4.
Thank again,
N
