This is so we can keep making improvements and create new products that reward customers for driving EVs. It's not been possible to integrate Ohme with this new technology. If you have an Ohme charger you’ll still be able to sign up to Charge Anytime by connecting with an eligible vehicle. It’s very frustrating contacting OVO to inform of changes to tenancies - it takes so long.  Why isn’t your website capable of accepting these changes?  Is it really necessary for me to spend the best part of an hour listening to music whilst on hold, just to tell you a few dates and details which I could easily do online?In this day and age I think it wise to update your systems, making it easier to inform you of changes.  Stating that you need to talk to a customer before you set up an account or alter details seems a little unique when other companies do not.

I moved house in March 2022, and sent photos of meter readings (twice) to close my account.  My account was in credit and for no reason given, Ovo was not able to process this until late May 2022.   Suddenly, in June 2022 I received an email saying there was a “meter reading dispute” but again, no information given.  I don’t see how there could be a dispute when I sent photos of the meter.  I assumed this was a mistake and didn’t reply.  In September 2022 I got a demand for money, for a property that I hadn’t lived in for 6 months and since then have had demands for money, now threatening debt collectorsI opened a complaint on 13th June 2023 to ask for this to be resolved, and have had no response apart from a further demand for money today (17th July) so clearly the complaints process is not workingHow can I get Ovo to address this ?

This doesn’t affect customers currently onboarded with Ohme and Charge anytime. If you have an Ohme charger and a compatible EV, you’ll be able to sign up to Charge Anytime via your vehicle instead.To sign up to Charge Anytime you must be an OVO customer and have an eligible car or charger. We’re constantly looking to open up the eligibility to more EV models and chargers - so if you don’t see your tech here, keep an eye on our page.

As a boost customer are we supposed to be using the Ovo top up app? Since they are essentially the same company ? I read that last year ovo were migrating boost customers over. Onto ovo ? all you can see on the boost app are top up amounts no balance of what is on meters etc? Does the ovo top up app give you more informative?

Hi my online account daily usage amount is not updating it is still the same as the opening amount at the beginning of the month. Looking at the smart meter readings they have been updated daily. Is there a reboot that can be done.  It’s clearly an IT matter not a meter problem.

At the end of my current billing period I send a current meter reading online. Then I wait for 24 hours giving time for my bill to be calculated before then paying the required amount through my online account. Monitoring my payment through my bank the payment takes at worst 24 hours. It is then with extreme annoyance that after a delay of between 3-6 days I receive an email statement saying that I owe an amount which is always slightly different to the one I have just paid.My query is having worked in computer software for over 35 years and fully realising the speed that the modern banking systems work, why does my payment take so long to get from my bank to being recognised by OVO’s accounting system. Could the answer be that when dealing with millions of accounts, any even small delay, can accrue significant interest just by holding onto the money in a different account.In this modern world I find that being told that I owe an amount of money that I paid several day

Back in November, I was erroneously transferred to Octopus Energy and have been experiencing numerous problems ever since. I wont bore you with all the details because it would take too long but I am left with one problem which OVO seems incapable of solving: I had an old email account which I changed because of spam etc. I changed it on my online account as was required but … accounts persist in sending emails to my old email address and don’t seem to be in communication with the rest of OVO. In spite of many phone calls, I received an email yesterday saying OVO was sorry I was leaving !!! to my old email address. This was exactly what started all my problems in the first place.Is there any way I can speak directly to a real person in accounts so that I can finally sort this mess out?

Hi, My smart meter has a thirty minute delay between the E7 rate being applied and the E7 power being switched. This means I am only getting six and a half hours at E7 rate and worse When the meter switches back to the day rate the E7 power does not switch off for a further thirty minutes so my water heaters and storage radiators are charged at the peak rate for half an hour. I have contacted OVO and done all the checks on the meter they required but have not been offered a solution. This is costing me money. I only realised what was happening recently but believe the problem has been with me either since I had the meter installed or switched to OVO both over two years ago. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do to get OVO to rectify this. to date I have just been fobbed off by the helpline staff who either don’t grasp the problem or don’t want to admit it exists,

I have a 3-phase 200Amp supply. KVA is 101 and I need to have a CT meter installed. This is for a single house which is using only electricity (no gas). I have EV chargers, heat pumps etc. Can OVO install a CT meter and offer me a domestic tarrif?

Hi just wanting to find out if anyone else is having bother getting their warm home discount.I have a pay as you go meter, and i have topped up 5 times  on different days at the same shop , and put the key in the meter each time, but it is not triggering the payment.Just wondering if there have been any problems regarding this that i’m not aware of, thanks for any help 👍🏼

I have multiple accounts how do I delete the ones I don’t want

Hello,New user here...…Just charged from my new podpoint last night, plugged in at 2100 and plugged out at 0800.Both my car and podpoint apps show 25kwh put in at 30.45p therefore roughly £8.The charge anytime figures are showing 14.9 kwh and £3. Are theses figures both savings figures ?Can I take it that some of my overnight session was at normal rate as at £8, I would have thought a £5 saving would be shown ? Cheers Paul

My electric went off no credit or emergency credit. I’m on pre pay smart meter I’ve topped it up but electric hasn’t come back on please help 

Hu, newbie here. didnt read the Privacy Notice to begin with but when did, was upmost confused. as did not underst most of what was being said. Spent a few days on the ICO website guidance, and phoned them more than a few times to get some understanding. They basically said that anything, and mostly everything in an Account is personal data, not just your name and address, but everything in the Account, and calls, especially as they are recorded by OVO. They said because of that everyone answering the phone in OVO has to at the very least be a lawful representative under the GDPR. But all I ever do is get through to Philippes or South Africa and they do not seem to even know what a Controller is, let alone how ot who to transfer a call to if you are exercising any of the rights in the gdpr. did try using the email address in the Provacy Notice and just got a generic reply from someone, so no help there.Anyone know who in OVO you can talk to about gdpr.  During the early periods of high energy prices I was continually bombarded with emails to increase my DD as I “would not have enough money in my account to cover a 12 month plan’ and needed to ensure my account had a positive balance to cover any high bills” .  Considering that I wasn’t on any fixed plan, I really couldn’t understand OVO’s thinking.  Thankfully that particular period is over and everything has been good to this point.I have, for many years received an interest payment monthly on my bill for keeping a positive balance on my account.  This wasn’t a great amount - but it was now nice to have. I had smarts meters installed on Thursday. Instant, shattering regret as my central heating was cut off. On the coldest night if the year. Customer services were obstructive and determined to deny any responsibility. I spoke with three altogether but kept being told it was my responsibility and I must call out an emergency heating engineer. It was 6pm next day when I finally got someone to reignite the pilot light on my back boiler and I was the tenth customer that day that he'd tended in the same predicament -installed meters, heating off, left in the lurch. He had just come from a household of a woman with two young children in freezing conditions and was going to his eleventh customer of the day after me. He was outraged by Ovo's attitude and didn't know how much he should charge people, was leaving it up to them. HelloI was accepted for a Customer Support Package end of October 2023 BUT not heard a whisper since!!!(almost two months have passed!!) Has anybody received any Support package deliveries ???

i have got hourly consumption data but that shows unbelievable i am using more power at 3am, any ideas how this can be?  I dont have night storage heaters or anything like that and im asleep at that time…

I'm on pay monthly direct debit. I decided to make an extra payment to put more money in my account. Usually it shows within a couple of hours but it still isn't showing. That was 2 days ago. Why hasn't my credit balance been updated?I talked to a customer service rep using the online chat after getting past the bot but got the same response i.e. talk to another department tomorrow. I experienced this last summer being sent into an eternal loop of being passed from the department to department and It took hours and hours and many weeks until it was sorted, always been told “give it a couple of days.”My bank account statement shows that ovo has taken the money from my bank account.
