What dates over Christmas and New Year are exempt from Power Move plan

I switched from SSE earlier in the year, but had already had PAYG smart meters installed. When using their app, I had set up a recurring payment for the electric meter. When I was moved to OVO Energy, I was unable to access the recurring payment on either the SSE app, and it hasn't showed up on the OVO top up app.This has become a problem because I want to be able to cancel this payment and set up a new amount, however without being able to access it through the top up app, I'm unsure what else to do. I have spoken to advisors on the phone, through email, and online chat. Either they don't know what to do to help, or they suggest different things, but nothing had worked to cancel this payment.Has anyone had this problem and found a way to fix this?​​​​

Can someone please help me my in home monitor on the gas is showing loads more gas than am actually using if phoned up everyday but no one seems to be helping me if done all the tests they’ve asked and still the gas is showing £20 when if fact it’s only between £3 to 4 

My parents-in-law live in Argyll & Bute and have THTC.They have been told that next year this tariff will end, and they will have rewiring to convert their system to Economy 7. As I understand it THTC is controlled by the energy company  and the exact times when it comes on is governed by daylight times and weather conditions.They have convector heaters (not storage heaters) connected to the THTC meter, but they do not control them at all, they simply go on and off whenever the THTC is switched.To control them is an impossible task – they are elderly, immobile and the controls are extremely confusing – even to an able body like myself. The amount they pay for their electricity is, quite frankly, astonishing – they have a ground floor stone built 3-bedroom flat and pay £400 - £600 / month depending on the time of the year.  They are in fuel poverty. My real concern is that when the changeover happens next year, the E7

I’ve been waiting 5 months to get my solar panels ownership transferred.I noticed on Friday (for the first time) a pylon icon, which I understand means we are net contributing to the grid (i.e. generating more than we’re using). My question is does this mean the ownership process has now been completed, or is it that I’ve just never noticed this before?

Ive been using the Charge Anytime app with Podpoint/Audi Q4 Etron successfully for the past month with no issues. Last 4 days the car is charging immediately or not responding to the Charge Anytime schedule (ie not charging) and Im getting NO savings.   What has changed??  Its literally a month (22 March) since I installed and stopped working 22 April? 

HI, Recently moved into a flat with storage heaters which are not turning at all. Regardless of what time of day they do not turn on at all. They have switches on its side to turn it on with a light indicating whether its on.  From my limited knowledge they meant to operate during off peak electricity but this still hasn't worked.  They only work if I manually go onto my meter and start a boost and this then turns it on. I've contacted my supplier who said the meter setup seems to be correct so cannot do anything else.  Any help would be appreciated! I've attached the heaters and themeter setup

Have OVO stopped cheaper nighttime rates as mine has stopped without notice 

Received this yesterday, my target seems very low. Can someone explain how they came to this calculation. 

I am confused. We bought this 1969 house in 1973 and it has still got the underfloor electric heating. we have 2 meters and two mpans. one meter is attached to the consumer unit which supplies all of the lighting and 13 amp sockets and electric shower plus a socket in th airing cupboard into which we could plug the immersion heater if we wanted hot water outside the offpeak times..The other meter  is supplied via a mechanical timer  and supplies a separate consumer unit which is connected only to all of the underfloor heating in every room and the hot water immersion heater only.This meter appears to be switching on and off between 1400 and 1800 and  2200and 0800 and was billed when we first moved in as off peak rate B by the eastern electricboard. If we went to smart meters would we not want one for the general 24hours cicuit board and a second one for the heating and hot water board replacing the two meters we have installed at presentThe

I’ve been with OVO since around 2019 (Lumo for a few years prior) and have noticed that there is no interest being applied to my account (I’m £560 in credit). I’ve logged a call but am being told I need to wait “around 21 days” for an investigation to complete.Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi All,  Just wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can get OVO to issue me with my final closing bill for my account?? I’ve been waiting over 3 months now; made numerous calls to OVO all of which have not resolved this issue, I’ve sent a brace of letters which have seemingly gone unanswered.  This is honestly the worst service I have ever experienced!! I started as an SSE customer, but was automatically transferred to OVO without consultation.  That complicated things and it took about a month to get OVO to acknowledge the correct meter readings for opening and closing of the account.  Then my account was given a £30 credit, given it has taken OVO over 6 weeks to issue my final bill.  Well we’re nearly 6 weeks post that now!!   What can I do to get OVO to issue the final bill?? I can sort of see it in my online portal, but when I go to view/download it defaults to the previous month. I just want t

My latest bill (July-August) shows NO charge for electricity only the standing charge, my current billing period also shows NO usage but the figures are clearly showing in my online account. Is anyone else in the same position ?

I have been transfered ti you from S S E in your takeover i and my wife are OLD AGE PENSIONERS we both have medical conditions my wife Arthritus and my self heart problems and COPD with S S E i had my boiler serviced every OCTOBER/November it was serviced last November 2023 i phoned up to have it serviced and was told next March at the earliest so that will be 16 months without a service when THEY SHOULD BE SERVICED ANNUALLY to prevent breakdowns and to work eficently so not to cost me more money i pay you £450 a year for this so why could you not have informed and serviced it  say in August /September to say i mad at your firm is a  understatment i have sent E mails about complaints NO ANSWER SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT i have been to CITZENS ADVICE

Hi, I am hoping to pick up my first EV this weekend and have a few questions. I've spent hours researching but still have a few questions! The car is a VW e-Golf which is not compatible with OVO charge anytime so will have to get a compatible charger.Ohme pro was my first choice as it's compatible with OVO and IO and also it's seems very popular. But unfortunately I don't like the look of it especially the cable bracket and holster. So I am now looking at the Indra smart Pro - Is the app compatible with OVO or do I have to use the Indra web app? I am aware of how Charge anytime works as it uses the greenist time to charge the car. Are there any restrictions on how quick it can charge? For example, I come home with 20% battery and I need it to be 80% within 4 hours. Will it charge to 80% within this very short time? And lastly, with the VW I believe there is an option to preheat the car before driving off, do

I bought a house in Perthshire a few years ago with THTC installed so have 2 meters. I now have an electric vehicle, but it would appear that I can’t get the low charging rate advertised (and sent by email to me) by OVO to allow overnight charging. At the moment, I have to pay standard rate to charge my car when it would be cheaper to find an on street charger (not easily found in my area). Surely that is not right?

Hmmm. Funny how my newly exchanged smart meters have been sending reading just fine for a couple of months, but after signing up for Smart Move all of a sudden it seems no electricity smart readings have been sent since 1st November. Gas ones are there, and since the gas goes via the electricity meter I find that weird. Interestingly my online account shows no electricity readings for the last week of October either but my bill says there was actual readings all month. All electricity readings up to 2 days ago are in Ivie however. Almost seems.like OVO are losing readings to avoid paying the credit? Yes, that's paranoid, but honestly it gets you like that at times.

I have recently had money paid into my account by OVO yet I switched to OCTOPUS last october and OVO are up to date with FIT payments.

Long story …. short(ish) version >>> My Economy 7 electricity meter completely failed on 16th October and since then I have had no midnight switch to heat my hot water cylinder and storage heaters. Not great when you are 65 years old and been extremely unwell with flu during this period. Ovo Energy initially offered a smart meter replacement on 17th November. Totally unacceptable given that I have no hot water or heating. After repeated pressure, they finally agreed to treat this as an emergency. Monday 30th October …. smart meter installed by MDS …. Aclara smart meter serial number 21M0364172 …. Aclara smart meter model SGM1416-B (SMETS2) for dual rate day peak and night off-peak (Economy 7) Tuesday 31st October …. smart meter supposedly commissioned and configured correctly by MDS …. but quite evidently not! Wednesday 1st November …. SMS engineer visited and tested the smart

Hi allCan anyone tell me what the Simpler tariff for gas per kWh would have been for:Jan - 31st MarchApril to 28th June.I don't think I've been billed correctly for my final statement. Prices per kWh are 9p and 10p respectively which seems incorrect.Would be nice to know standing charge too. I've tried to look online, but can only find current prices and I can't query with Ovo as there is an active complaint against them.Thanks
