My OVO bill is calculated to the 24th of each month.My IVIE monitor calculates to the first of every month.Is there any way to synchronise them to the same date?

I had SMETS 2 smart meters installed on 21st December, so coming up for eight weeks ago. Meter readings for both the gas and electricity are showing up just fine on my account.My gas usage is billing nicely (but I barely use any of that because I can’t afford to); but, despite submitting meter readings,  I haven't had a single consumption-based charge for electricity since they stopped doing (wildly inaccurate) estimated charges for the old disconnected meter on 9th of January. I haven't had a meaningful bill since November and my next bill is due in three days. I've spoken to customer services umpteen times, by WhatsApp and voice call, but they are as much use as a chocolate teapot and refuse to let you speak to anyone knowledgeable. I am trying to stay ahead by keeping my account in credit by what I THINK the missing charges should be, but I shouldn't have to do that, especially as I am disabled, living with multiple complex health conditions, co

I've downloaded the charge anytime app. I'm awaiting my charger to be installed can I still join for charge anytime while I'm waiting? Or do I have to wait for the charger to be installed? I understand the app is mainly for the D2V side of things.  Note I'm already with OVO now for my normal energy.

Can someone help me find my gas and electric serial numbers!

I will shortly be having my Smets1 meter upgraded to Smets2.  What happens to the historical usage stats associated with my MyOVO account.  Will they still be available? In the future, I may be considering installing battery storage so that I can charge the batteries overnight (cheap rate) and then use the stored energy during the day (avoiding peak rate). To cost justify this project, it would be dependent on the historical stats I have over the past 18 months.  I don’t think that a download of the usage stats is available yet.  Will I need to manually record them myself before the upgrade to avoid them disappearing?

We have warm air heating which is currently serviced annually.   Does OVO maintain and service this type of boiler?

If me and my partner both have teslas in the household. Would the charge anytime rate apply to both cars? 

Hi all,I have been living in a rented property for the last 2 years. Since moving into the flat, we have been toping up the gas and electricity via pay-as-you-go. However, during all this time, the account has been under the name of the landlord.I finally decided to update the account details to my name yesterday (15/04/23). The change was surprisingly quick and painless… or so I thoughtI have just checked my meter and all the credit we have built up over the past few months (a combination of the government monthly payments plus our own top-ups) has vanished and we are now on emergency credit! We had around £200 credit on our account (circa £100 in gas and electricity each).What I think has happened, is that Ovo recognised this credit as belonging to the landlord - so they have either paid it back to him (which would be weird seeing as its a pay-as-you-go account, there should be no debit card on file to refund the credit to), or the have taken the money

I pay my  monthly electricity bills by cheque. November’s  statement/bill did not include the £66 gov grant so I queried this and did not pay it.   December’s statement/bill showed 2 x £66 grants  plus November’s bill and  a £10 penalty charge for late payment.  I paid the sum due for both months less the £10 penalty charge. This was applied to my account for a late payment.Now I am being pursued with red notices and phone calls and my explanations not accepted.How can I get the penalty payment removed and the black mark on my credit taken away? 

Martin Lewis has said Ovo are offering fixed price plans to existing customers.  Am i the only one who doesnt have this offer? With my monthly direct debit now hitting £414 Ovo won't want to fix mine!   I used to pay £150  and had a  decent cash pot returned to me at the end of the annual term.

I've been offered 4 new Energy plans 2 fixed Rate ones and  2 Variable ones. If I don't choose one I will be automatically rolled into one of the variable plans but there is no mention of when this is going to take happen and how long I have left on my current plan.

I'm looking to go onto a fixed plan but was wondering will i still get the cheaper 10p per kilowatt through the charge anytime app when charging the car?

Hi All - has anyone else had problems with getting properly compensated for shift and save events because their smart meter has stopped communicating? I’ve participated in all events offered so far and initially everything seemed to work OK.  I made a considerable effort not to use any power during the requested time and was happy with the payment made. However, over the past 6 occasions OVO have said they will credit my account based on past usage because my smart meter wasn’t sending them readings.  I have queried this with them as their credits are paltry compared to what I would have earned had the smart meter been working, but they say the meter is working OK, and it is just coincidental that it stops talking when I need it to.I do the events because I think they’re important but like everyone I can also do with being properly paid for my efforts.I’d be interested to know if anyone else has had this problem, and what if anything they’ve been able to

I have a payg smart meter and not had an issue before receiving the payment before.  I have been told today a voucher was sent??? Why?  It has always been added straight onto meter.

Hi. Is there a way to find out how much ev charging  is done whilst generating on solar mode? I have an Indra smart pro and solar panels.

After getting a generic “ineligible for smart meter” message online, I messaged to ask why I was ineligible and I was told that I could get a smart meter installed but only if I lose one hour of off peak rate.When I queried further I was told that OVO only have “ECO 7” smart meters available which are 7 hours overnight off peak.  My plan has 8 hours off peak (just a domestic rolling variable plan).Has anyone else experienced this?  Does this sound right?   I didn’t progress any further because I didn’t want to commit to worse terms just for the sake of a smart meter.  It felt a bit like they were saying yes you can have a smart meter, but it’s going to cost you. 

Hi, just moved to Ovo and signed up for charge anytime.  Are there any particular settings I need to do in my ohme home pro app to make sure it works? Car is a polestar 2, so I have to use the charger for interaction with the Anytime Plan. Thanks in advance.

How can you redeem your voucher if you don’t have the payment card?

Hi, I have just had Solar installed in the very dull month of March and occasionally the the IHD shows that I am exporting small amounts back to the grid by showing the Pylon icon without me having an Export Tariff agreementI realise that if the Export readout shows zero, there is no cost or rewardIf the readout is below zero does this mean I am exporting without rewardOr is my export, when  the reading to below zero automatically being deducted from previously or future import electricityI hope this not too stupid a question

Its Been like this almost 1 Year and we’ve been on estimated Electric bills.  (Gas is working albeit I have to punch in the readings manually, probably because electric is faulty)Bulb are absolutely hopeless at getting it fixed despite multiple emails. Last message was that they “Rejected” the request (“They” being some kind of Smart Meter Engineer I guess)I just want to know if its actually still taking readings in the background? if so things will turn out fair in the end I suppose.  But if its not then I need to know the next steps.Anyone else had a similar code or situation?Thanks

I've just switched to OVO and the first first payment will be taken on 18 September. I want to use a different current account from the one I gave when I filled in the switch form. How can I do it?
