First a bit of background:My original smart meters' communication effectively died last year, so OVO replaced them with new ones. Since then OVO have been getting my readings reliably now for about a year. However, third party apps like Ivie and Loop effectively lost connection to my data for months. Ivie finally came back a couple of months ago but has disappeared again, MIA for the last month. Loop has never regained connection to my meters' data.I've seen somewhere on here (?) that the connection to OVO doesn't rely only on the DCC connection. But if these things aren't talking to the DCC reliably I'm going to be kind of stuck if I ever wanted to move away - especially with the news about OVO's refinancing and possible full sale. Does anyone know the best number to call / department to speak to to get this looked into and maybe even have them replaced again if they're failing yet again? Obviously SOMETHING isn't right and to be honest it's getting a bit annoying now

Hello, we live in a big house that has been converted into 3 flats. We are electric only and just started to move in. I have noticed that there is a daily usage of exactly 1.9kwh. It is spread equally throughout the entire day and I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried to turn the main switch off in the fuse box but it makes no difference. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Since switching to a fixed-rate tariff last week, my Power Move page no longer shows me as ‘Joined’. Attempts to Join spring challenge are met with this:I’m hoping this means that I’m still joined despite not having the little pink label, but I can’t get this confirmed. Any suggestions?

The Power Move Flex results emails were fine to the end of May, but from June the email states: “Your smart meter failed to send us readings ... so we couldn’t see the full picture of your electricity use.”. However when I check the readings on the website, I have a full history over the period.This has happened for 3 June to 9 June, 10 June to 16 June & 17 June to 23 June.Any thoughts on what could be going wrong would be most welcome.Thanks    

I went to check the details on the card left by the engineer when my new meter was installed a few months ago. This is what I found:    The card isn’t even card - it’s just paper, and it was originally attached to the backboard by the screw to the left of the meter. Small animals have clearly come foraging and (luckily) found nothing to their taste except for this card. Not a single character penned by the engineer is left. By contrast, the yellow warning sticker is pristine possibly eight years after it was applied. I wondered if anyone uses ‘Home Assistant’ (HA) to track and monitor your home (including power usage)?The reason for the question is that I have recently set up my own system and now have a full view of energy, temperatures, humidity, voltage, frequency etc and I notice that the HA system has an OVO feed. I can’t test this myself as I don’t currently have an OVO account but it would be useful to know what it provides 

I was originally with ovo but was moved to boost and now I've been moved back.Got the ovo appTried to register on website and it's saying I have to make a new password it takes me to the website which is being renewed. So how am I meant to sort that out? Also why isn't there a balance on the app?I'm a pay and go customer if my in home display was to fail I wouldn't be able to track balance, I would also like to point out this isn't good for people with disabilities who can't navigate websites etc or in home displays to not be able to see balances.

Can somebody help I just bought a property supplied by OSO I get keys a weeks time. Right problem is there is no electric meter or main isolator. I spoke to OSO today to try sort things before moving or get an idea of time scale. They said it’s a classed a new connection. 25 to 30 days for application then date after this time for installation. I also spoke to northern power they say it’s just re energise as power still there. Nether wants to take any responsibility for problem and won’t help. I cannot go to another supplier as they won’t except till meter goes in. At moment don’t know what I’m meant to do I have emailed OVO they not interested as email not registered to account of property they say. I can’t open account yet till I get into the house. Beyond a joke how stuff works. End of day it’s not my fault no meter in I didn’t take it out why didn’t they just take main fuse out. At least could have got northern power in to connect up. Any help especially from OVK would be nice

Please can you advise on the below?On the Smart Charge app, on the "savings" tab, the cost for the charge doesn't add up. For example on 3/10, I used 4.3 kWh, the cost should be £0.43 based on 10p per kwh. But the cost is showing £0.71.

I have been using Charge Anytime since mid April, in fact the day I switched to OVO. Everything is fine but I am sure that I read somewhere that I get 100 miles a month free when charging.I could not see anything on my first bill. Does it just appear?

I am having a fun time with charging. I have an OHME pod charger and use it to charge 3 cars. The issue is that the charger keeps going off line. As a result it does not report all data. The upshot of this is that I miss out on up to 25% of my charging electricity being used to give credit which means about £25 a month difference between what it should be and what I actually get. I have had many email conversations with OVO and OHME the result so far being a lot of sympathy but no solution. OVO have suggested I use the Charge anytime app but apart from the inconvenience of having yet another step only one of the cars is listed as compatible.it seems to me that there are too many organisations involved I.e. OVO, kazoo, OHME, and the network provider.OVO make it clear that they are not responsible for collecting the data, OHME I assume are reliant on having a consistent 4g signal but do not say which network provider they use I.e. EE,O2, Three, Vodafone. so I

I have been trying to get my new smart meter verified so that i can submit my FIT export readings for nearly 18 months.  For the whole of this year I have had emails and phone calls bounced back and forth with demands for the same information over and over again with no-one really caring or taking ownership, including the numerous people from the ‘complaints’ team.  Today on my second call of the day, i was fortunate to connect to Stephen from Squad A team  What an absolute gem.  He listened, understood what I was trying to achieve, explained the processes and jargon to me and talked me through the whole process and achieved what the numerous people I’ve dealt with before him were unable or unwilling to do.  I finally feel like this issue, which has caused me many sleepless nights and lots of stress is coming to a conclusion, all thanks to Stephen for actually caring.  Please, please could someone pass on my gratitude to him (I did thank him on the phone but felt so relieved i ended

I'm on PAYG so downloaded the app to both my phone and tablet (both android)   I can access my account through the tablet but the phone just gets the popup message OVO has stopped, does anyone know how to fix this?

I need a detailed explanation of my bill as my gas meter has been out of action for three months and I am having a new account issued with an ‘actual’ electricity reading and an ‘estimated’ gas reading, the lady in the overseas call centre was pleasant but completely ineffectual, his don’t get to speak to someone in the U.K., do j gave to call at a certain time/date ?   

Here's a serious idea that should be taken onboard.how many customers  have a studio Flat that doesn't have a bedroom but yet we're discriminated on the energy insights part of the app.we have yo put down on the app as having a bedroom when we DON'T have one, the app then misconstrues the Information  that you give it and scews the results.I myself have missed out on any benefits from power move  because I'm out working during the power move time, the only things that are drawing electric whilst I'm out is a refrigerator ( which is set on the lowest possible settings) and the in home electric device, everything else is off  and the fuses on the fuse board turned to the off position.AI behind the energy insights needs a update to fix this GLARING omission that the bright sparks who designed it.. Think of the high density cities like London where property rental prices are high and people have converted houses etc into studio flats  etc 

Just read on another convo on here that OVO don't have a date for when the hypervolt charger will be ready for charge anytime.Why is it even on there as an offering at the moment? People are probably getting that charger based on OVO saying this will be working by early 2024, it's still not working and there is not date for when it will be.And having a compatible car doesn't save you either of it's a newer one, OVO seems to be quite slow with getting this sorted out. All quite poor from OVO 8 thought.

Hello, this is a long story but I’ll try to keep it short.I moved into my current property 4 years ago. When I moved in, it was apparent that there was no IHD here. It appears that the previous occupants very annoyingly took it with them.At the time I was with Eon. I tried numerous times to request an IHD from them, but Eon’s policy is not to give IHDs to anyone!Since the energy prices rising I am now desperate to get an IHD, it’s impossible for me to track my usage effectively without one. I am aware of the apps (such as Loop), but these are almost useless for working out the amounts of energy and the cost of appliances in real time. I have tried.  Also I’ve seen the Ivie bud IHDs, but I really can’t afford to spend £55 on this, the whole reason I need an IHD is because I’m really trying to save money. So, I messaged Ovo, who said of course they would provide me with an IHD if I were to switch to them. Why Ovo Carbon forecast is not working today? I always follow the advice given on the Ovo website to know when it is cheaper yo use energy but today Ovo has not informed us what to do! Please, help!

I have had the Indra Charger just over a year, initially it had problems with connectivity, an engineer came out and decided to change the unit as he thought it was faulty, the new unit has worked mostly for 9 months with a few times of going off line and needing a reboot.  It is connected to cell signal not to wifi or ethernet.The unit went off line three weeks ago now and has not re connected, I have tried to raise requests with Indra, I seem to get an initial response and then it disappears into a black hole.  Have tried ringing several times but never seem to get through the queue so it is impossible to speak to anyone.Is anyone else having similar issues?

As you will see in the 1st some sections they didn’t even bother to peel off the adhesive ply. 

I have read several comments, and it seems that like me, many are frustrated with the fact we never achieve our target!  I don’t use a washing machine at peak times, I only use the oven perhaps once a week for less than 30 mins, I often delay firing up the  central heating so the pump is not pulling power, and we watch TV with one small table light on.  How much more do I have to switch off?  It’s a big con!

Hello Today out of the blue I had someone from Marston holdings engage services turn up for a safety inspection of my metering equipment. I was not expecting anyone and just thought it was someone trying to sell something, as they left they put a letter through the door. The letter states that I am now a customer of boost energy, i am with OVO energy and that I apparently received a welcome letter which was previously sent - i have received no letters and no notice of any appointment to carry out safety inspection of my metering equipment - I am a pre payment customer. I do not want a smart meter and am happy as I am . What do engage services of Marston holdings do? On the account number on my letter in ends with the word reco? I am confused.
