Hello,I recently asked about not having all my credit reapplied after migrating from SSE to OVO.  I spoke to a gentleman called Sebu.  He said a small minority of customers didn't get all their credit reapplied because of a technical failure.  The migration team are working to get this fixed.  It seems I was one of the few  that didn't get all their credit back.  I hope it gets fixed soon and he advised me to keep Topping Up in the mean time.

I had no issues with the app and a previous EV. I have a pod point charger so use the Charge Anytime app to control when the vehicle charges. ive tried to connect my new Porsche Panamera and can find my car when logging in to my Porsche Account via the Charge Anytime app, but it fails at the final hurdle having said that connections was successful initially. Any tips? 

Unbeknown to me on September the 28th my Indra Pro ceased to send information to OVO. I went away on that day having charged up my car fully.Estimated 9kW on my return on 4th October  the car took 26kW est. on 4/10 and 0n 9th est. 50kW, 10th 20kW, 11th 27kW and 12th 18kW.I went onto my OVO account and it said they had a problem collecting OVO anytime info. No charges shown on my account. I then opened app.indra.co.ukthis said my charger was not working and to contact Support.(Charged EV) By the way I have had no need to look at the K page as my charger was working perfectly as far as I was concerned. I spoke to a very helpful chap (senior support) who told me that they had lost the 4G contact with my charger and after a while he managed to reconnect and later that day info started flowing.Problem, no info on amount used during the lack of connection, nothing showing at Indra or OVO. EV vehicle purchase, which one… I chose last year one which may seem a bit off piste to many.I have had over the past few years run 3 SsangYong SUV’s all bought new all with a 7 year warranty, they are very well equipped and a really reasonable price.I have had no trouble with them, they bought out an electric Korando emotion early in 2022 and being an electric only house with solar, heat pump and no gas available it made sense to look at it, most EV cars had a long waiting list but the SsangYong Korando e motion Ultimate was only 4 months . I traded in my Rexton  Ultimate diesel.it arrived in November 2022 so I have had it almost a year. I have had one teething problem and that has been with the 12v battery which is used to run the ancillaries onan EV. This is a little complex… here is my setup Smart meter: Secure Liberty 110 in PAYG mode with Econony7 Storage heaters on 5th Terminal Generation meter: Emlile EC-ECA2-BI 1 According to Smart Export Guarantee 2 your SEG supplier goes not have to be your GAS and/or Electric supplier. Having duly registered the generation meter to get is Mpan number I now have the issue of supplying every 6 months an export meter reading. SEG Supplier is Scottish Power and I requirement is a 6 monthly manual meter reading. Now it gets interesting... The Secure Liberty 110 (SL110) is solar export compatible. Export reading are shown on the meter if you hit 9 from the display. However when in PAYG E7 mode 9 shows the day and night rates.Can anyone worked out if the SL110 in PAYG mode with E7 can store or record Export Data to the Grid?

Hoping someone can offer some advice. I’ve wasted a year of my life trying to sort this issue out and it appears to be beyond OVO’s capability!I’m a duel fuel customer who was migrated from SSE to OVO.I have to admit I hadn’t checked the portal for some months and when I did I noticed I had a large credit on the account.It turns out I wasn’t being charged for Gas usage - just the standing charge. So I manually entered meter readings for Electric and Gas and hey presto I was retrospectivity charged for Gas usage. Electric has always been charged for correctly.That was September last year and the last time I was charged for Gas usage. I’ve been told mutiple things e.g. it’s a known technical issue and will be resolved within 48 hours to the supply address on my Gas bill is incorrect (it is … OVO mistake not mine) and that would be sorted however so far neither has the address been updated or have I been charged for Gas usage.I wouldn’t mind but until

Hi all, my charge anytime app hasn’t updated its connection with my BMW iX since early Thursday morning last week.  Not been able to do a smart charge since then.  I’ve tried everything I can think of so can only assume OVO need to update their app?  Anyone else having issues?

Hi, Will OVO "open the HAN" to allow use of a CAD (consumer access device) such that I can access the data from the Liberty electricity/gas meters? Specifically this CAD. Alternatively is there any other means to retrieve "live" meter data in a less useless way than screen-scraping the Ovo website or a webcam on the IHD? It's an R&D project on combi boiler efficiency. "Real time" heat use is easy using heat/electricity sub-meters with open M-Bs protocols. "Real time" gas use is tricksy. Thanks, M

As the subject says I cannot figure out how to add my Ohme Home Pro charger to the Charge Anytime App, all I can see is a list of cars?When I open the Charge Anytime App is asks me to ‘Link to your OVO Energy account to start saving’.  I press continue and enter my OVO Energy account details and click continue.  And then I’m just presented with a list of car manufacturers to select from but no chargers. Thanks :-)

I don't know if this is a general problem or simply a quirk of the fact that my bill is produced in one month whilst my direct debit payment is called at the start of the following month, BUT …..After monitoring it for a couple of months, I have noticed is that the 'minimum monthly payment' in the Direct Debit Calculator changes quite dramatically (in my case  by more than 10%) depending on when in the monthly cycle I use the tool – lowest immediately after my monthly direct debit payment hits the account and highest just before the direct debit is due to hit the account.  I am guessing it is down to how the tool works on calendar months, rather than billing or payment cycles, but surely the 'minimum monthly payment' should - barring tariff changes or dramatic changes in consumption - remain relatively stable throughout the month.In the case of my account, my daily consumption charges are reliably with in £0.02 range at this time of year, so th

The FAQ on this says: Challenge Type: Peak Move - shift your non-essential electricity usage out of the peak (4-7pm each weekday). Your peak electricity usage must be 12.5% or less of your daily use to be rewarded £10 per month.You may use 10kWh of electricity on a weekday (Monday to Friday). If, between 4pm and 7pm, you then use 2kWh of electricity, your peak electricity consumption for Monday would be 20%. A customer needs to average out to 12.5% or less of their monthly peak electricity usage to be successful. However this still leaves some ambiguity. Are Ovo averaging the daily %ages (e.g. 10% on one day, 20% on another and 27% on a third averages out to 19%) or are they summing the peak hours usage for the month and dividing that by the total weekday usage?The two methods may give quite different results. 

Just over a month ago I purchased a Tado  thermostat from OVO for £140.It is working well and reliably with my elderly boiler but I now notice that OVO is selling the same equipment for £70.Am I alone in feeling aggrieved?

Hi eveyone.hope someone can help.  I had solar installed and live for the month of july and i belive its done something strange to our eletrical usage.Lasts month usage was about 400kWh and without solar i would of expected Julys to be much less, also due to we were away for 10 days of it. I took a manual reading 1st july (As this is when our solar went live) and 1st Aug, so i could see the effet our solar had on our bills. As we have 3 pahse at home we donthave a smart meter. Julys usage was 1769kWh as you can see from the image below!!! What i belive has happened is the solar that we have produced/exported has been added to our meter (Bill) in some way as i cant belive we have used 1700kWh and what solar we produced/exported. Am thinking that the old meter is not set

I do not have a smart meter , I use the app and send in a meter reading monthly.  I can then see how much power I have used that month.  But I am confused as there is a daily use of power used in the current month before I have sent the reading at the end of the month.  How is this  daily  figure arrived at please.

Hi I have registered our electricity card number to the app on my phone with my bank card, can my partner also register the same card to his phone with his bank card? Obviously using a different login and password.

Please can someone explain why despite the best endeavours of a senior complaints resolution handler, OVO is unable to get my smart meter working correctly. Having been promised a smart meter with E7 functionality to replace my previous dual meter (with E10 rates) and having received a new agreement showing dual rates the smart meter fitted 27 days ago on Aug 31st is still only showing a single rate and the the 5th port is not switching on during the off peak hours. This means I cannot use my storage heaters and have to rely on using conventional heaters at the more expensive standard rate.In essence OVO have taken away one of my services and failed to replace it. (Not to mention the fact that my circumstances should class me as vulnerable).

Meanwhile in the Scottish Highlands...The previous owners of our house removed the overnight storage heaters and installed an oil-fired system, but we still have the THTC metering system with 2 meters. The reading on the cheaper rate meter almost never changes month to month (last month we used *one* unit of electricity for example). So a few questions…What are our options for meters? How do we arrange this with OVO? Will it make any difference if we plan for an electric car and have a home charging point installed? What on earth is using that 1 unit of electricity? Pardon the pun...

Up until this evening my IHD was showing both gas and electric but for some reason it’s stopped showing any gas info, anyone know why this would be please? I am on smets2 meters PAYG.

Ovo supplied and fitted my solar and EV charger. I benefit from 10p EV charging and 20p SEG. Financially it makes sense to always charge the car from the grid.I do not want excess solar to charge the car, neither do I want to discharge the battery to meet the load.The positioning of CT clamps means that the GivEnergy Inverter will see the draw from the EV. I was initially advised that if I moved the Solar CT clamp the other side of the EV consumer unit and Henley block the inverter would not see the EV. GivEnergy informed me that this would affect operation and advised against it.Because Charge Anytime does not use the native Indra Pro App I cannot delay charging the car until after dark and after battery has fully discharged to the house demand in the evening post sun down. The moment I plug the car in I can only set a “ready by” time eg 0700. I want to be able to plug the car in at a convenient time with a delay function eg “don’t start  charge u

Since starting OVO’s Power Move I’ve made two big changes to my usual routine. I’ve switched lunch for dinner so instead of cooking a dinner in the evenings at peak time (4-7pm) I now cook at lunchtime when it’s cheaper. Having a hot dinner mid day means my body has enough fuel to do light exercise and keeps me warm all day.  The second thing was to change all my lightbulbs for LED energy efficiency ones. Not only are they brighter but they’re also cost next to nothing to run!  I bought these in the summer sales so win win for me 😊 I only boil the minimum amount of water for hot drinks which cost 1-2p. This is enough for my daily usage. To keep it hot all day I put it into a flask so that I’m not using electric at peak times.  I have a halogen cooker that is not only healthier for cooking but costs a fraction of the cost of a conventional cooker. Every month we insert meter readings on the due date required. This was done this month (April) as normal. These meter readings are processed and a monthly account and statement is normally available within 1 to 3 days. Today is day 5 since the meter readings were entered on line. Today we are advised that access to the on line account information will not be available until the end of 2023. ?? Computer migration ??. Can any one advise HOW we are to give meter readings on the next due date. May 2023. There isn’t a smart meter and the data collection management (Actual Meter reader) only attends periodically even though the request is for no more than a three month reading. Can anyone advise??
