Hi there, My online account has stopped updating itself and my last useage data was on the 24th (Last meter reading on the 25th) I’ve checked my meter from time to time and the WAN light has been flashing away indicating a connection. It’s been fine for months and transmitting everyday and just suddently stopped updating. Are there any known isues going on? Thanks.

Hi everyone I have been a dual fuel customer with Ovo for over 7 years and have always ensured I get the best fixed rate deals possible. My dual fuel fixed rate deals expire on different dates (long story). My electric fixed rate deal expires 04/12/21 and my gas fixed rate deal expires in June 2022. For this reason, I am only asking about my electric as this deal is about to end. Taking into account that fellow forum members can only provide non-binding guidance and thoughts, I wondered what everyone's views are about the following...... Based on the information below, if you were me, would you lock-in to a new 3 year fixed electric deal commencing on 05/12/21 (note: the rate cost I am being offered has fallen twice in the last 4 weeks!!). Hi all, First of all, hello, I’m new here! I'm trying to troubleshoot some issues with two smart meter installations in the North West of England. They both are with suppliers other than Ovo, I won’t mention names but their suppliers/supplier’s contractors haven’t been able to resolve their issues to date.My primary question:Which DCC region are postcodes WN8 7ED and WN8 7PE in? (both fairly big postcode areas so no privacy issues sharing these). Further background:Both properties are within around mile of each other. One has an SKU2 cellular + mesh comms hub (with no external antenna fitted which is suspicious) which I understand to be a “South Region” hub. The other has a “Standard 420”, which I understand is a “North Region” hub. Both are attached to SMETS2 Landis + Gyr type 5533 meters. Hi,I want to connect my Geo Trio II to my phone app. In the online settings it should give a secure code. But it keeps on loading. I have an account in the app and the connection with the meter is working. Connection to internet works fine.Does someone has an solution? 

A question on how to get the £150 on a key meter.  I says to put something on the key for 3-5 days in a row, and in the same place, does it matter how much you put on each day?  Today I put £1 on and was going to for the next 4 days again, would this work? Bloke in the shop seemed to think I needed to put up to £150 on to get the £150!! Which I’m sure isn’t right!

Just curious, checked statement (I'm one of those people!) Power move credit applied, interest reward and anything else but nothing for power move plus. Does December's rewards get added to December's bill or in January's? 

I have just received an email from OVO headed good news your energy costs are going down.   What a load of codswallop.  In the email they state the unit price of electricity is falling from 28.71pence to 24.51 -  a saving of 4.2 pence.  Then they say the standing charge has changed from 54.2pence to 63.25pence, an increase of 9.05pence.  How is this a saving? it doesn't matter if I use less or more electricity I’m still facing a net increase of 4.85pence per day or a yearly increase of £177.025 just for being an OVO customer - excuse the pun but this is shocking, trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the British public, trying to hide bad news under allegedly good news.   You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.  Your Directors and PR dept should be ashamed of themselves.

Sounds like these may be the next big thing in solar panels. What do others think ? Is it worth waiting for them to come on the market ?

Hi, I’ve received a text message from Ovo saying they have arranged a “SMART appointment”. Can any one explain what a SMART appointment is please?

This Power Move Plus is getting a joke now the first one I had to get under 0.5 than it was 0.3 now it's 0.2 i see a pattern emerging here next it will be 0.0 if I wasn't able to achieve it at 0.3 why do there think i can at 0.2. It's like it's been set up to fail.OVO seems to be the only energy company that is going for low % most other companies have just asked customers to try to reduce there energy to lower than they would usually use for the time allocated.

I prefer to use the “classic” 3-button navigation system on my Android 14 smart phone.When in the Ovo app, the navigation buttons on the bottom line are white on a white background. I had to look very hard just to find them on first usage.Does anyone else find this as inconvenient as I do? Could we have, say, green buttons? Please?

Why has my OVO app layout changed in last 24 hrs?

Hi I use to have a pre payment metre now I just got a letter off owo.. saying I’m on a variable rate plan and simplier energy.what is the meaning of this this it’s Christmas holidays I’m worried so I’m worried incase I need to top up and I haven’t got the details to top up with my metre as changing suppliers or will it automatically be paid monthly please help because it has not set up a direct debit yet to so I don’t want the electric to govoff

Hi, I was looking for repair parts for my Solis coffee machine and came across the following discussion: https://forum.ovoenergy.com/topic/show?tid=14671&fid=138So, if I understood correctly, I can link my Solis appliances to a specific app? Or is the Solis app mentioned in the discussion something different? I’m quite new to the smart home topic and would love to learn more about it. My question may not be relevant to this forum, but I’m running out of options and would like to inquire about where to find repair parts for my machine (with shipment to the Netherlands). I was able to find the heating element on FixPart, but the brewing unit is currently out of stock. Would someone be able to help me with these questions?  

Hello. I’m getting a bit fed up with with OVO increasing our monthly direct debit - especially after we paid a £200 lump sum in.  We’re on the Simpler Energy Variable Plan having come in from SSE. Is it feasible to set up a monthly bank transfer & to cancel monthly direct debits? PS. The new OVO Fixed Plan costs are shocking hence not wanting to go anywhere near those.

Today I have reached a milestone, my 20th phone call, covering 9 hours, 18 minutes and 10 seconds, in trying to finalise my FIT account.  I have had excuses of:We can not open the format of the documents you sent. We dont have the documents you sent. Some of the information is not in the right format. Here is your SEG application case number ( but not finalised at OVO’s end). Here is your complaint number, you wil be contacted within 48 hours.  ( the complaint was not actioned/finalised) You need to send a photo of the your meter ( it was a brand new system strting at “000000” back in november) as a staring point for any back dated payments.This is complete chaos, as a cusomte of OVO from 2015, I have never been treated this way.  This has been ongoing since my Solar panel installation in October 2022.Any ideas please?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Have been using charge anytime with my Audi q8 etron for the past few months with no issues. Then last night I open the app and it says my car needs to be on software 3669 or later. My car is on version 4014. I have tried removing and re adding the car but still get the same message. Meaning I can't use the app to charge at all 

I recently moved out of rental and now have an issue with my landlord related to electricity bills.When I checked in originally, the landlord gave me clear instructions to use the elec meter under the stairs and the gas meter in the side passage. As usual I registered with a supplier and continued to pay monthly bills like normal. Never another issue during the rental and the energy supply account is now closed, all happy.I ended my tenancy recently and the landlord has suddenly raised an issue with my deposit saying I didn't register a second elec meter. One that was hidden an unused storage cupboard. I'm being told that some of the wiring is split in the house so there is a separate meter. I was never told about this second meter and have no idea what it connects to etc.Im waiting for the energy supplier to investigate now but playing it out in my mind, if there is another meter and I didn't register it because was never told about it, then I have no evidence

Hi - I am on Ovo Charge Anytime user and love the tariff.I'm in a flat for a little while that doesn't have a charger, but have a socket available in the car park that's on a Kasa smart socket. I've built some code to switch the socket off when I leave, and switches on if the car is parked and needs charging.What would be really handy is if there was an API to Charge Anytime to get the next available time slot, to predict if I need anrapid charge or a priority charge.
