How long does it take to receive the help with your heating credits?

It looks you’ve chosen your time slots for 6 weeks. It should be added to your December bill. As it says that it could take longer, I assume it will appear in your bill very soon. I could see it in my latest bill, but it looks, that it will also appear in my future bills too.

As I understand, it is for gas and time slotted. In cases, when you don’t have gas, or, like me, don’t have smart meter for gas, it adds automatically. But you still needed to chose the time slot each week.

I’m glad to see a few of our community members have already stopped by with some really helpful advice here already, I hope that’s been helpful.

“Your bill credit will normally appear on your account in the following month, for example November will be paid in December, although it could occasionally take longer to credit your account. For Electricity only customers, you will automatically be allocated the 10 kWk cap amount and this will be paid back as a bill credit.”  There are also a couple of similar topics below which might be helpful here:

Found a credit for 62  not much of a savings really.🤔 

That sounds like you only acthally booked one week.

(So you only got a credit for 1 week).

You do have to book a time slot each week to get a credit for that week.

However if that was on your December billing then it was for one week in November.

Any credits the we have earned in December is not showing on our sccounts yet.

I think I’ve worked that out but 62p for a two hour slot is not what my indoor display shows for usage when my heating is on I’ve booked all my slots for December but won’t be holding my breath waiting for any discount due 🤔

Do you have electric heating?

Remember that this is a GAS promotion.

62/63 pence represents 10 kWh of gas use at the Standard Tariff.
