Great question to ask about the easiest way to find out your OVO account number.


If you’ve recently moved in to a house we supply, or joined us via a switch, you should’ve received a welcome email outlining your full account details (including account number) within an hour of signing up.  

 

You can also check your account details by logging in to your online account or OVO app (download for Android or iOS). Just click ‘Profile’ on your online account home page, or on the person icon of your OVO app:

If you haven’t received your Welcome pack, check your junk / spam folder. If it’s not there our Support Team can locate your account info. If you’re having issues logging into your online account or app, this guide will help you:

To answer the question in the title- I would take a educated guess at ‘BST’ being short for ‘Boost’, the old PAYG sister company of OVO.
It probably should have been removed from that message now that ‘Boost’ customers have been migrated into OVO. (Unless there are still some left with Boost who haven’t migrated yet?).

As said your best move is to contact OVO support.

I’m glad to see though that a couple of our volunteers have already stopped by with some helpful advice here.

 

 

Contacting our Support Team will be the best thing to do here so they can check the account numbers, maybe you have a separate one for gas, and for electric? They’ll be able to confirm this.

    Hi thanx every1 for your suggestions, i now have it all sorted out, in the end i had to do a phonecall to customer services who incidently had no clue either about (OVO/BST) but on taking my account number that i gave  quite easily accessed my account

      Your account number will be on any/every bill or statement that you have.

        Hi I’m new to ovo, and had my smart meter installed yesterday. But I don’t have any account number

        i need to top up, but when trying to do online it’s asking for it.

        I have two meters, for the supply of gas and electric. I want to know if I have separate OVO account numbers. That’s all I’m trying to find out, without success - ‘chat robots’ really do irritate me in the extreme. Simple question - impossible to find the answer.
