Hi @antoinette and welcome to the customer forum. I doubt anyone will be able to give a definitive answer on this and so it will need more direct contact.
As far as I’m aware, the anaconda connection is not normally used in that way - simply being a flexible final connection for the meter.

Hi the confusion is around..
When I first rang Ovo I had a date given and a cost of £125 to move the meter along.
I delayed only because I wanted to check 1 metere would be sufficient to be beyond the extension wall.
The 2nd call to Ovo just at the point of booking failed as the operator put me on hold and then said because the gas meter was external it could not be moved. No idea why this changed within 2 weeks
Cadent then sait was up to the operator to move the box, suggesting quicker and easier and wasn't as if they had to come out and dig .
Very frustrating with conflicting answers!
Ironically I'm getting a new digital meter so no ide why I need the old meter anyway!
