Problems setting up Charge Anytime. Error message

I am trying to set up charge anytime , I get to the end where you confirm and I receive an error message stating they couldn’t connect my ev charger, my charger is online any ideas where I’m going wrong ?

If you’re having an issue when trying to set up Charge Anytime and you haven’t been able to find the answer you need on the Forum, please contact the team by:

 

  • Calling 0330 175 9678 (Option 1 new customers/option 2 existing customers) 

  • Email via ovocharge@ovo.com

 

You can also get assistance with Charge Anytime or Home Charging directly through the OVO Charge App to chat with one of our Home and Public Charging Experts. Follow the steps below to get started if you’ve been able to get the account part set up:

 

  1. Open the OVO Charge App.
  2. Select Account.
  3. Tap Live Support.
  4. Select Send us a message.

As far as I’m aware, if you have a compatible charger (Ohme or Indra), you should use that app, not the Charge Anytine app. Ohme have put some instructions together in this piece 

having said that, I have seen others report problems with Ohme communication

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having connecting to Charge Anytime.

     

    I’d recommend contacting the team directly about this issue via email they can look into the matter and look to help fix this for you.

    I signed up with Google account. This is an issue but if yours was working it might not be the same thing.

    I deleted my ohme account and waited 15 minutes before creating a new one with email and password instead.

    Then removed charge Anytime add on and then set it up again using my new Ohme account.

     

    Charged the car overnight and it shows this morning.

      Hello, 

       

      I’m having a few problems getting the charge anytime addon to work again, I have previously had it working but I changed my ohme account email address.

      I’ve reentered the new Ohme login details into the ovo site but no luck, just getting a can’t connect to charger error on the ovo site. 
       

      anyone help please, frustrating as no longer getting the 7p rate

          yes I had it working fine up until I changed my Ohme account email address. I’ve tried contacting Ohme themselves but I keep just getting generic emails from them regarding setting it up.
