Hi @Trebor54 , it sounds like they still have your old meter on the record. It can take a while for the details to update I believe

I recently got a smart meter installed. Once  a month I was used to read the status of my electricity and my gas. The engineer set them both to zero when he installed the smart meter. I know want to see, how much gas and electricity I used since. I can see that for the electricity but not for gas. Is that me being stupid or is that a bug by design?

The Inhouse Display doesn’t help either.

Who knows more?

Please post clear photos of the electricity meter, the gas meter and the IHD. Then someone will be able to help you find your gas readings.

1- How old is it?

Some of the earlier SMETS2 meters may be reaching end of certification.

2- is the whole meter being replaced or just the communications hub (the top bit)?

Some 3G coms hubs are currently being replaced with 4G/5G ones.

We’d love to help you out, but we could use a bit more information. How did you find out that your meter is being replaced? It probably mentioned why it’s being replaced too. The more details you can share, the better we can support you.

Engineer turned up today nothing wrong with meter. Waste of his and my time. Don’t know why appointment was made . Said need new meter? Strange.
