Please could someone advise if it's RTS meter? I asked OVO and they said they can't advise. I don't want to switch to smart meter just yet if I don't have to. The photos attached are of my communal cupboard where my meter  is circled in red. There are 2 other meters serving other flats.

Hey @Priyach ,

It looks like it MIGHT be an RTS Meter but I can’t say for sure.

However, it’s definitely outdated and has likely reached End of Service Life anyway. Replacement is strongly recommended regardless of RTS status to be sure and for peace of mind.

The infrastructure that supports electric/gas keys and cards is also being slowly ripped out - I cannot make any promises as to how long it’ll continue to be available for.

Hi Skeck, it's a key meter. Is it RTS or based on another technology?

Just so you know, RTS PAYG Meters that use top-up keys do exist. Those ones don't get programmed via the key.

Hey @Lukepeniket_OVO

Just wondered if you might have any further thoughts on this one?

The PAYG ones were more common with certain types like THTC, because they were impossible to operate with local timeswitches.

Domestic Economy and E7/E10 were more likely to run locally.

Hello! Just digging around to find out, I dont see any indication that it is a Radio TeleMeter but im getting more confirmation. Either way its old and could do with swapping.
