Does anyone know if I can get half hourly reading from our export meter - emlite emp1.av

According to google it can but it doesn't make it clear how to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thank you

Thanks!

IIRC that unit can do the half-hourly reads, but the only way to access them locally is via the Optical port. Only an engineer can do that I’m afraid.

@NJ001 are you sure that meter measures your export? Versions of that meter, connected to a solar PV inverter would measure generation rather than export.

If you have a smart meter then it will generally be logging export levels

@BPLightlog I have no idea to be honest, we had a Solar PV system fitted at our office by an electrician who wanted to gain some experience of fitting them, and left us with no handover, or idea of how to register it for SEG, its taken us over 12months to get the G99 certificate, and now we have hit another wall with our energy provider asking for the following info, but we are struggling to get this information from any of our meters.

Ok - so what is being asked for is just a meter reading (from the export meter).

Depending on the setup (the Emlite looks like a 3 phase meter?), if your main electricity meter doesn’t record exports, it may be that the Emlite was installed for that purpose. It is a bi- directional meter so the display might cycle through different readings. There should be an indicator in the bottom left to say what the screen shows .. alternatively the top left heading might give a clue (as I say, it depends on how it’s been set up).

Take a picture (like the one above) when you send a reading in case they want verification.

Looking at this video on YouTube, it suggests that you should be able to get an export reading from the EDMI Mk10D

That looks like an Import figure

see the horizontal arrow pointing ‘in’ with + P next to it.

Can you get to other screens by pressing the ‘Select’ button ?

I do understand that on install these are set up to show specific screens which may not include what you need
