Givenergy Battery Upgrade

Hi 

please can someone help advise whether Ovo will install an additional GivEnergy battery for me to extend my system.

I believe GivEnergy are no more , so once physically installed how do you configure the battery as I understand that GivEnergy needed to send some instruction to the inverter

 

any help and guidance really appreciated

GivEnergy went bust in April this year so there is no warranty on equipment, no spares and no server for them to operate with. There is a possibility of local control but you will need some familiarity with home automation systems.

OVO won't be installing a home battery from a company in administration even though I found a web page (probably out of date) that says they do. If you want to discuss the situation suggest you call customer support and see if they can help.
