 We want to let you know that our Charge Anytime app will be discontinued on 4 November. All your charging will be managed through the OVO Charge app. To make sure you can keep your charging schedule, you’ll need to download the OVO Charge app. You can find all the details you need in the article linked below:  If you need help, please call our Charge Anytime support line at 0330 175 9678, available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, or email chargeanytime@ovo.com.

We want to reward you for being an EV driver by bringing you even better features and the latest technology. As part of these improvements, there will be a change affecting customers using Ohme chargers. Since 15th July 2025, Ohme chargers are no longer connect directly to Charge Anytime. The good news is, we estimate about 75% of our Charge Anytime customers have an EV that can connect directly to Charge Anytime. So you may still be able to benefit from our low charging rates via your vehicle connection.  

We’ve made some great progress with the sign up process for complex / multi-rate smart meter setups (Economy 9, Economy 10 and Domestic Economy).  We'll be in touch soon with Charge Anytime customers about some changes to our T&Cs, which take effect on 15 April 2025. If you haven't heard from us yet, don’t worry—you’ll receive an email or letter by 31 March.Your smart charging rate of 7p per kWh will stay the same. You don’t need to do anything - you can keep using Charge Anytime as normal. The changes are in section 4 & 6 which cover Flexibility Services and how to pay. The heat pump starts off at a minimum of £500 per year due to the initial cost and that is after the grant. It’s over a £1,000 a year without a grant. The AAHP is standalone, £800 over 10 years. The gas boiler starts off at £4,000 over 15 years but probably 20 as it’s very lightly loaded. It’s only really going to be used on the coldest of days or if the electricity prices are high for some reason.
