Replacing Fox ev charger with Hypervolt
A question if could answer or advise me on replacing current FoxESS EV charger with charge anytime compatible Hypervolt home 3 pro EV charger.
I currently have OVO installed (via OVO partner)
22 465w panels
FoxESS kh8 inverter
3 off ep12 batteries
L series EV charger
Grant 290 ASHP
I am on the OVO 2 year fixed tariff and the OVO 20p Seg export tariff
As the FoxESS charger is not supported/compatible for charge anytime monthly basic scheme I will be replacing my current charger with the Hypervolt.
As I will not be using/depending on solar or battery to charge my EV can the Hypervolt be operated independently from my FoxESSsolar PV system without impacting my Seg export. Can it be installed and work independently from solar and batteries? What I’m hoping for is not to have to run any additional cables? Also will I need an additional ct clamp for this.
