Problems with Ovo Charge anytime app since change with Ohme and Renualt app

Before I tear my hair out anymore. Can anyone advise or give me a step by step what I need to do.

I have the Ohme app which worked great. Plug in, accept and off it went. Until OVO have now, in a matter of words divorced with Ohme.

I got the email with the step by step instructions which I followed. Since then I haven't been able to charge my car on the cheap 7p rate and the OVO app doesn't even recognise when the charger is plugged in!

I have a Renault Zoe and also have been having issues with the Renault app. I am hoping there is someone out there that actually knows what they are doing as the help desk at Renault and Ovo, in a word are useless unfortunately

Hi @Ben_OVO

Yes I heard back from Renault last night. They have confirmed my car is all up to date.

I need to charge my car Sunday, I am just going to have to keep setting alarms in the middle of the night just incase, which isn't ideal, but I can live with that if the car actually charged to 100%

@jonoparton have you managed to successfully charge?

Sounds like you have got the EV down to a T 🥰

And I completly agree with you, the savings on the EV are brilliant. I took the time to research home chargers and made the decision to choose one that OVO recommended and paid through OVO as I thought it would be far easier buying the box and getting it installed through OVO. I loved it up until a couple of months ago, everything worked absolutely perfectly. Literally plug in and go. Car charged and saw savings immediately. However, as soon as this charge anytime app has been introduced I have had nothing but issues. I don't want to be spending my days on the phone or sending emails because there is another problem or having to set alarms for the middle of the night just to make sure my car is charging.

I go on holiday soon, so don't really have the time to research other providers but this will definitely be on the agenda when I get back. As much as I haven't had an issue with OVO before, charging my car and having it charged to 100% is high on my agenda and if another provided can offer that without all the hassle in-between it is a no brainer

Hiya, I’ve not had my car at home but have it here now and I’m just getting this in the app:

it’s done this for days. So, no. Not working. I did get an email from OVO though, about 2 weeks after I sent it which basically said, sorry I’ll escalate to the technical team..! So 2 weeks to reply with that.

How are you getting on?
